: Mordekaiser Change Summary & Feedback Thread
So why is Mordekaiser being forced into a duo lane? That's basically ruining his old identity as a solo laner who is able to win 1v2 or even 1v3 fights, if played well. And yes, giving a champion an ability that does **absolutely nothing** when he's in solo lane is indeed forcing that champion into a duo lane. This is not fixing Mordekaiser's problems, this is making him a completely different champion... who still has the same problems.

: The point is: would it relly be necessary to know how much of {{champion:14}}'s HP comes through farm vs how much comes through items runes or masteries? At the end of the day you only really need to know how big his lifebar is and how resilient to damage he is.

At the end of the day you only really need to know how big his lifebar is and how resilient to damage he is. Very much so, to me at least. As for a Nasus the general measure of how well he's doing is his stacks number vs. time in the game, I think it could be very similar with Sion.

Rather, spellvamp heals off of abilities (whether it's physical, magic or true damage) and lifesteal heals off of autoattacks and physical on-hit effects (note: magic on-hit damage **can't** heal you).
: You can, albeit indirectly, see it just by looking at their stats, {{champion:45}}'s AP and {{champion:14}}'s HP. The difference between them and Nasus is that if {{champion:75}} didn't have a stack counter there would be no way to tell beforehand how much damage he'd deal.
> The difference between them and Nasus is that if {{champion:75}} didn't have a stack counter there would be no way to tell beforehand how much damage he'd deal. That is indeed true, but there is also a very huge difference between a Sion who has farmed up 1.5k bonus HP and a Sion who has farmed up 300 bonus HP, but is building tank and has scaling HP runes or something. And to really figure the difference you need to do some maths, which isn't the most practical thing to do while playing the game.
: You know, there is major difference between Nasus and Veigar with Sion. Nasus receives a temporary buff when he activates his Q while Veigar and Sion receives a permanent stat which is added to their current AP (Veigar) or HP (Sion) and it's not a buff. Showing those numbers separately would not help you at all, it would be a useless information.

Showing those numbers separately would not help you at all, it would be a useless information. Indeed there are some differences between the said champions. One of them which comes to mind is that with Sion and Veigar, as of now the only way of knowing exactly how much health/AP they have from the passives (other than asking them) is doing some seriously long research and calculations. If that's the way it's supposed to be then, say, an enemy's Rabadon's Deathcap shouldn't display the amount of AP it gives. I really disagree with this being useless information; while it may seem like that to you and I respect your opinion on that entirely, there are people (including myself) to whom this information means a lot. If it seems useless to you I completely understand you not looking at the said information ever, but that's no reason for it not to be implemented since it would come very handy for some people. Also I'll have to point out the fact that while Nasus's Q indeed itself is a temporary buff while activated, the actual stacking part of the ability should only be called a buff in the sense of having an icon in the buff bar. Other than that, the stacking part of the ability just increases the base damage of the ability (which in some sense may actually be called a stat), rather than it being a temporary buff. Using the word literally, rather than using the League's definition for it (buff = that thing in your buff bar), I'd call all of the mentioned stacking ability parts "permanent buffs", as that's exactly what they are; they permanently make something stronger about the user.
: Akali E lifesteal
It should return hp with spellvamp rather than lifesteal, and akali does have some built in spellvamp due to her passive.
: Riot *is* making a skin for Zac. Problem is that it is hard to make a skin for him without it being a recolor, as he stretches a lot.

Problem is that it is hard to make a skin for him without it being a recolor, as he stretches a lot. Got any source of a rioter actually saying that they are making a skin for Zac? Because all I've seen so far are excuses as to why there are none.
: Why not Ace of Spades Yorick? {{champion:83}} "Yeah. why not?" and why not just Joker Shaco, its sooo much more fitting of the deck theme and on top of that, two jokers, two shacos. Also, his old blades were much cooler. Last little tid bit, does this mean update to jake of hearts TF?
Most probably because Yorick is due to a rework (for a couple of years now) and that's a valid excuse for not making any skins for him. I do support your ideas though, sounds amazing.
: A highly serious question about new card-themed skins which requires immediate attention.
I do agree with you that a spade-shaped mace would probably look rather weird, even though Lord Mordekaiser and Pentakill Mordekaiser prove anything's possible. But the mace does not need to be spade-shaped, really. A possible approach would be with Mordekaiser having spades either painted on his armour or parts of armour actually being spade-shaped. Edit: On a second thought, I'd say a spade-shaped mace would look **less** weird that what it is now; a club shaped mace.
: A highly serious question about new card-themed skins which requires immediate attention.
I'll just add that I think the Ezreal skin looks really good and I wouldn't mind it staying the way it is with just the name being changed.
: Because a club-shaped club both looks and sounds better?
The skin itself looks quite underwhelming, really, especially the club-shaped **mace**. But I'm not talking about the looks, I'm talking about the amazing potential it'd have as an Ace of Spades reference since **it is already featured in his kit**. Plus, "Mace of Spades" sounds way better imho.

I'd say this is related to the blue garen bug that appeared a while ago, which IIRC was caused by relative team colours.
: Yasuo doesnt take fountain damage when ulting
Since when is Yasuo untargetable and/or invulnerable while ulting? Doesn't say anything about it on lolwiki, and among all the other things (like autoattacks, aoe spells, etc.) I got kicked {{champion:64}} while ulting as a Yasuo the other day, works perfectly normal.
: Hey there, BillXie! :< Unfortunately, having bundles available for IP causes fires and mayhem for us tech-side at the moment haha. I've made the bundles worth 1 RP (assuming you own the required components already), and reduced the price of Lucian, Lee Sin and Dragon Fist Lee Sin to 1 IP for the time being. Keeping this in mind for future chroma packs, so that they will follow this same pricing for PBE testing. Sorry about that. Hopefully this helps you all out with purchasing the PBE content! <3

Hopefully this helps you all out with purchasing the PBE content! <3 Hello there I'd like to point out that as of now, Dragon Fist Lee Sin is not purchasable for 1 IP in the PBE store (and neither is Pool Party Leona, but I heard that is yet to happen). Some helpful others say the skin was purchasable for 1 IP recently, but since the post you made was done 6 days ago, I think that is a bit early to pull it off, if that's what happened even. Anyhow I'd like to ask for some clarification on the subject, since a friend of mine noticed some other recent skins being pulled from the "1 IP" much much earlier that usual as well. Is it intended? If yes, what are the reasons for it? Regardless of yes/no, could it be changed?
: All Mystery gifts give SGU.
What? No no no, no one needs to look into this. Just let it go live and everyone will be happy :)
: New defense item idea
Well you can't just compare offensive and defensive stats 1:1. They work very differently. You get bigger armour numbers through items because physical damage usually means a constant damage (apart from AD assassins) whilst magic damage is usually way more burst-orientated. I do agree with you that we could use high magic resist, no health item. In fact, we've already got one, but not quite on Summoner's Rift {{item:3112}} . Having both Frozen Heart and Thornmail but no high magic resist item is a bit weird indeed.
: order of the banana soraka q should be banana themed
I was honestly disappointed by the skin. I mean the idea is amazing, but there's nothing more banana-y about the skin than the default skin. Yes, autoattacks look like bananas, but not much more than the default autoattacks. Even for a 750 RP skin it could be way better.
: Pedobear Udyr Skin
Volibear would be more appropriate for that skin imo
: It's meant as an April Fools skin. All those skins are 750, so increasing the price and giving only Nasus a unique voice over doesn't fit with the rest. Aside fron that, they'll never make the voice over in time before April 1st.

Surprise party Amumu is 1350 RP, Definitely not Udyr is 975 RP and Urf the Nami-tee features some unique jokes, I think. I personally support the unique voiceover as it would otherwise be a HUGE wasted opportunity.
: Rumble overheating spell vamp
Life steal applies to all **physical damage** dealt on-hit, including any sourced from on-hit effects (with a few exceptions, like JarvanIVSquare.png Jarvan IV's Dragon Strike.png Dragon Strike). http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/On-hit_effect Spell vamp is a magical stat that converts a percentage of the ability damage dealt into health regained. Activated abilities that do not state they "apply on-hit effects" or modify your "next basic attack" will benefit from spell vamp. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Spell_vamp
: [Yorick] His E doesn´t scale as LoL website says
I replied on the other thread. If this is E we're talking about, are you sure you checked it correctly? It is supposed to scale with 100% **Bonus** AD, that means only AD from items, runes, masteries and other buffs.
: Rumble overheating spell vamp
On-hit magic damage generally doesn't proc neither lifesteal nor spellvamp, that's quite normal I'd say. You don't heal from bonus damage on Akali autoattacks either, for example.
: Veigar and Luden's Echo
Nasus can stack his Q with Statikk Shiv. +1 EDIT: Wiki states Tiamat and Iceborn Gauntlet damage won't count, but a friend of mine tried it with Ravenous Hydra and it worked...
: Vayne needs a major nerf
> She dominates early lane YOU WOT MVIII Vayne is probably **the** worst meta adc early game because of her crappy autoattack range and no actual poke. The only thing Vayne can do well early game is farm under tower, which will happen most of the time when you face something with longer range/poke. Yes, she is amazingly strong late game, but with the shit early game she has she isn't that hard to shut down early.
: Thresh visual bug which has been in game for 6 months
This is not a bug. You're actually supposed to pick the souls up either by walking over them or throwing a lantern at them. When the souls time out, they will fly towards you but they won't count towards your collected souls since you didn't really collect them.
: Cinderhulk + Sunfire Cape seem to critically strike
Tried it. It only seems to happen to minions and quite rarely, but it does. EDIT: nevermind. just happened to a nidalee bot Tried buying a Cinder on top of these two and it stopped happening
: Bard's Chime Spawning under enemy turrets
To me it seems like chimes tend to spawn further away from you (like under enemy towers) if you have a few chimes not collected nearby. It still makes very little sense why should they spawn under enemy towers, though.
: Bugsplat fest!
Well yesterday I had a perfectly fine game with headhunter akali..

: Potential Early Game Bard Strategy
With Bard roaming I'd say in certain matchups it would be better to have the ADC on top or mid and a poke mage on bot lane 1v2. But yeah, this kind of strategies would work only in full premade/team ranked/LC$.
: Bard's Ult Doesn't Affect Heimer's Ult
I think that is correct. The ult states it affects **epic monsters** despite their immunity to cc. Heimer's ult turret is immune to cc, and Bard's ult doesn't specifically state it should affect it.
: Had an idea for blind pick.
No, thanks. That'd kill amazing strategies like double jungle or bot lane two burst mages/assassins. Edit: plus, it's kind of what team builder is meant to do, and does it way better.
: Can we get rid of this minimum player requirement for custom games?
For that imo the best and already suggested solution would be making solo custom games w/ bots only offline.
: This requirement amount for customs is activated *because* there are *so* many people going in custom solo games that there are *too many* games for the server.
> [{quoted}](name=Amy Sery,realm=PBE,application-id=cMKtzQHY,discussion-id=YROasLAN,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2015-02-25T15:29:52.869+0000) > > This requirement amount for customs is activated *because* there are *so* many people going in custom solo games that there are *too many* games for the server. Then I'd say the issue is with people who use their PBE accounts only to pop up whenever a new champion is released. EDIT: Available to play on PBE, I meant.

: [Feedback] Veigar changes
I don't mean to disrespect you or your opinion in any way, but have you actually played Veigar, both pre-change and now? While the instant E might've not been instant for him to combo, he isn't able to hit his W without his opponent(s) standing still. And his W represents about 1/3 of his burst, which is at 900 range (quite nice). The other two abilities, Q and R are indeed targeted, but at 650 range if the enemy isn't stunned, he might as well be in your face beating you up, since we're in the League of Mobility. Note: before someone comes up with a "no counterplay instant stun" argument: buy QSS, take {{summoner:1}}, buy tenacity, buy banshee's veil, be gankplank, avoid it (because while it may be instant it is very predictable) Anyways, with his 0.75 sec delay on something that is *still* predictable, there is this huge issue called mobility. If the champion you're trying to either stun or trap inside your E has **any** mobility whatsoever, be it a dash, a blink or even a speedup, or even something with a high base movement speed and boots, you won't be able to do that. Ever. Again. And therefore you won't be able to hit your W on them. Ever. Again. If the good ol' Veigar had a chance of surviving (not a good one) ganks by stunning that Lee or Jarvan and walking away with his amazing 340 movement speed, while maybe throwing in some damage (the counterplay here was to wait until Veigar uses his stun, because 20 sec cooldown is a serious matter), now the Veigar can get Q-R-Q'd, InSec'd, E-Q-Demacia'd or even simply Mantheon-to-the-face'd before his stun will even appear. Well, this is my opinion, and everyone who I know that ever played Veigar would say pretty much the same. My suggestions: - Lower the delay to 0.25 - 0.4 sec OR - Make the indicator not appear until a very short time before the stun (think Cho'Gath Q)
: What's the purpose? Won't those already queuing with friends continue to; and those without friends or without other players to join queue alone? As well, will this come with more ways to spend IP? Those who already have all their runes and champs already have too much IP and few reasons to spend it. I'd say this is more of an answer to the increasing amounts of IP to spend, though I would like to see more than a few limited-time 1500 IP icons (hint: purchasable all the time, lots of them), or something like that.

Can we get some CDR onto this please? Maybe 15%? There is a distinct lack of CDR items that don't give mana/mana regen. And there is no item apart from {{item:3158}} and {{item:3041}} giving 5%, 15% or 25% CDR...

It just seems like Rito doesn't want this thing called "burst" on AP champions. I don't agree. Mordekaiser did need changes. He doesn't function well in this meta at all. The only thing he can really get away with is being a split pusher, and there are still champions who can do that better and with less risk. It's not that Riot doesn't want him to have burst, it's that Riot wants him to fulfill the fantasy he was supposed to, the heavy hitting mega-tank that beats you in trades through sheer "Being a huge fucking tank"-iness. But this isn't the way to go with it. With no CC or meaningful base damage to go onto his kit, they've basically just nerfed what he used to be played as, and laid the groundwork for a decent tank champion but given no other elements that a tank champion needs to function (CC, and therefore actual teamfight presence). Mordekaiser isn't a good tank right now as it stands, but he isn't a good AP anymore either. (With these changes)

Mordekaiser isn't a good tank right now as it stands, but he isn't a good AP anymore either. (With these changes) Why wouldn't he fit in the meta? He counters melee midlaners (except Zed maybe, but he's still not bad against him), does okay against some ranged ones and is shit against a few (aka has counters). He's very good against most melee toplaners and can survive against ranged ones, except a few again. His midgame is insanely strong, even if he was behind in lane. His lategame isn't perfect but it isn't bad either. It's not hard to nuke people that position themselves badly, even when they're tanky. He indeed doesn't do that well at splitpushing (although if you run tp on him he could work because he pushes a lot, he just doesn't have escapes). His teamfight presence in the lategame is the issue that's supposed to be addressed as of the removal of DFG. He isn't all that great, unless you manage to nuke the enemy ADC. That basically means you've won the teamfight unless you get yourself killed in the next 0.5sec (cough, {{item:3157}} ) Oh yeah, the proper answer would be "Mobility. The lack of it.". Well... http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/qmEb08pb-fuck-mobility-creep
: Mordekaiser
Most of the changes aren't effective yet indeed. Thankfully, I'd say.
: Pre-Testing Morde Concerns
Yup. Agreed. Mordekaiser shouldn't be forced to build tanky, and if he is he's going to be pretty useless due to his lack of cc or damage if he's building tanky. The thing is that Mordekaiser didn't need any changes at all, he was at a perfectly fine winrate which wasn't affected by DFG removal at all. It just seems like Rito doesn't want this thing called "burst" on AP champions.
