: [Assassins] LeBlanc Feedback Thread
Hi :) I think that the new Leblanc kit is ALMOST amazing. The Passive is single-handedly my favorite part of it. I like the psychological feel of Leblanc now, which feels a little more fair but also a lot more tilting. Before, she would 1shot you from the Fog of War, or lategame by double dashing, and it would feel terrible. Now, you have a lot of counterplay against her, but if you mess up, you know you are going to die in 1.5 seconds and can't do anything about it, which feels amazing if you are the Leblanc. Q I think is a little weird to get used to, as I still kept on Q-W or Q-E as habit. However, it makes her teamfights great, and adds so much AOE potential to her- W in, wait a bit, and then press Q on the nearest opponent and watch them all melt. W is solid; it feels a bit clunkier, but I think the delay is healthy for gameplay. E is absolutely amazing, mainly because it procs the passive on it's own. In lane now, landing that E means so much damage, and I love it. The ult is the part which makes me say it's only ALMOST amazing. The ult-skill pressing, instead of just pressing the skill, takes some getting used to, but I overall think it opens up room for a lot more combos. The global clone, though, is the most useless cooldown I have ever seen. The clone legit disappears after using a spell, and it's pretty obvious it's fake when the LB walks to you instead of dashing at you. I have some possible suggestions for improving this: A) Cooldown needs to be much, much lower. It legit is just useful as a psychological trick, and even then it's sort of obvious (like Wukong Decoy). There is no reason it needs to be on a 150 second cooldown. B) Give it some more life. I think here's an interesting mechanic- If Leblanc R-R's, she then is in CONTROL of the clone for 10 seconds. The clone has her normal stats and ability/cooldowns, but DOESN'T do any damage. So, I think an optimal situation would be Leblanc hiding in a bush, and then ulting bot. She can then dash in, use some abilities and probably get flashes. If the allied bot-lane engages at the same time, the no damage LB is doing could be unnoticed and the enemy may even focus down LB, although that would take coordination (again, higher skill-cap and teamwork play :) ) Anyways, that's just my take on the LB. I think she doesn't feel like the old leblanc at all; instead, she sort of feels a little bit like Lux. That feeling when she is in ur range, and she has the mark procced on you, reminds me of being snared by Lux and watching the laser, knowing there's nothing you can do.
