: Color-coding the slots is an interesting idea, we'd have to avoid rainbows though :)
I was thinking a light green tone for top lane, red tone for bottom, yellow for jungle, and purple for mid (arbitrary color choices), so people can see if they are playing a "meta" team quickly. Definitely doesn't have to be a rainbow :D
: Team Builder will be coming back on Monday (1/27) and Tuesday (1/28) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM PST!
Second round of PBE testing on Team Builder. Good to see a lot of the known issues have been fixed/polished. Just a couple of suggestions: 1. It would be good to specify multiple roles you want if you're team captain, or choose multiple roles as a solo player. I wanted to play Quinn mid as an assassin, but I would assume most people have selected only "Mage", so my queue time is very very long. I gave up after 5 mins. Maybe they are just prejudiced against Quinn mid too haha 2. I suggested this in the last thread and I will suggest it again - color-coding the box that holds each player's information would be helpful. That way, you can read the team composition very quickly and easily immediately after you enter the lobby. Anyways, can't wait for this to launch!
: Team Builder is coming back soon Tuesday (1/21) at 1:00 - 5:00 PM PST!
Hi everyone, I played a couple of games in Team Builder today - one standard meta, and another where I made a duo jungle comp as captain. It took quite awhile to get enough people willing to play the duo jungle. I repeatedly wrote in chat everytime someone new came in that it was a duo jungle because some people simply didn't notice. "wtf is this" and then leaving the lobby was a pretty common response, haha. I had an idea about how to deal with people not paying attention to metabreaking comps and then realizing after the fact that they are in a "weird" team - why not color-code each lane so you can very quickly see if you've jumped into a 5x bot comp? Each slot could be tinted as such - Top: Green Mid: Blue Bot: Red Jungle: Yellow Perhaps you could also color-code roles, but I think the lane/jungle composition is what people are most interested in. If someone wants to play the meta, they'll quickly realize that Green/Blue/Yellow/Red/Red is what they should be looking for. Overall though, I really enjoyed Team Builder and fortunately got pretty nice teammates in my (two) games. The existence of unlimited pre-game chat is great. Also, the music is kickass. :)
: Team Builder Bugs!
First PBE and Team Builder game - got in game and every sound was higher-pitched than normal. Background music, announcer voice, shop sound effects, gold effect, etc. etc. No one else on my team had the same problems. I was a solo player playing {{champion:133}}
