I think that's kind of the point - major objectives mean a lot. I don't think URF-mode should be balanced so heavily, the team that does really good at the start usually gets dragon, and then they usually end up winning (unless you have something like a jax who figures out the OP jax build halfway through the game and get a comeback)

Honestly I had so much fun playing the new slightly more balanced urfmode, could you guys have it constantly up on the main server, even if its just making private/public custom lobbies to find rando's in the server-list?

I much prefer the normal urfmode. Imo they should add fun-items to urf and add a couple more ludicrous buffs to make it slightly more silly but also a challenge without nerfing and randomly buffing every other champion. Should be some kind of rune-page set that lets champions scale silly values for things by end-game, and all abilities scale off of AD and AP combined.

Had this one game for about 10 minutes - literally 13 second delay between sending a command and having it be processed. It made for some really interesting play before it sped up.

Kinda sad that they removed the bug AND nerfed garen. I really hope that they don't add the "This champion gets a direct 20% damage reduction and this champion gets 20%extra tankiness and 20% damage boost" Makes playing the fun champions so boring, and removes the challenge from playing champions like bard and the like. They should instead do things like "bard's ground thingies now spawn every 3 seconds" or "Fiora has the highest winrate out of every urf champion, so we're getting rid of her w and replacing it with a second q that you can cast" You know, they should add _fun_ shit that's actually interesting. Remove their defenses and up their offenses to the point where they're glass cannons, like everything else in urf.

She _always_ loses and sucks against any champions that are strong that aren't nerfed though. Like, fiora, yi, ANY adc, burst-damage champions, anyone who picks cleanse, etc...

I like how they'll nerf garen but not yi lmao. Also yeah unless you're against a team of 4+ that counters yi (i.e. disables and tanky people who can screw you up with suppressions and the like, it's a guarunteed win). saying that, it's nice to say "Just counter-pick" when it's RANDOM. What can I say though, sucks to suck when you're stuck with a bunch of useless squishy supports against a yi, a garen, an evelynn, a miss fortune and a draven, or some other combination of mega-damage urf champions.

It's a "have fun" rotating game-mode that doesn't count for fuck-all with wins and losses, and I very rarely lose when playing nasus. IT's happened a couple times where _EVERY SINGLE LANE_ feeds like crazy - so _really_ that would be a loss anyways. Nasus is just _extremely_ powerful, if your team can help from losing the game in the first 2.5 minutes lmao. You can't just stay in the jungle though. After that initial power-spike, it doesn't scale, so afk-ing in the jungle like a moron is a bad strategy. Cute but shitty assumption, though. Thanks lol

I think that's the point. Riot is trying to "balance" urfmode because it's not fun, so people wont like it. If people play urf, they wont buy shitty champions for urf. Riot thinks they'll lose money or something. On top of that, it makes the normal game seem kinda boring sometimes. I think Riot is just trying to make URF boring enough that _everyone_ hates it so they can stop bringing it back. That being said, it was still pretty fun playing it this round. I had no problem with sticking to these "meta-y" builds and still had about a 50-50 winrate.

: It’s a trap pick now. Don’t want your team playing it? Hold garen hostage and switch to a different champion at the last second. Even nerfed Evelynn does more damage than nerfed garen. The only thing garen is good for now is proxy farming and running away. Same as proxy farming ap trynd.
If some garbage idiot did that to me I'd probably feed and troll the game to a loss out of spite, you'd have less than a garen lmao. But legit, if you build stacking attack speed on him he does mega damage. Get a trinity force and other attack speed + damage items and you're set. Not to mention he has infinite tank, so if you build full tank he's pretty good that way too, if anyone knows how to do a teamfight.

It's because the way he worked before he did maybe 1000 dps without any items at game start, and then traversed into 45k dps 6-slotted at level 18+. This is balanced garen. It's the only way Riot will put Garen in URF ): They won't nerf master yi, evelynn, xayah, etc... (I easily get 25-35 kills every time I get these champions), but they'll nerf garen...

100% agree. I have no clue why Riot is so closed-minded and restrictive about "other" game-modes. I feel like they could heavily benefit just having all of them open all the time. I think a lot more people would be interested in playing. Even if there was an "old" stable game-version of it, that they occasionally updated. Not that it matters, since Riot is trying their hardest to "balance" urfmode by forcing it to be ARURF, disabling all of the fun champions, or nerfing the hell out of them with direct damage reductions and the like. I think the best way to balance urfmode would be to just add items to the game that let anyone do crazy shit. i.e. blink dagger from dota, dash mechanic, stun - just a bunch of fun utility stuff to let people dick around and outplay around overly powerful champions.

I saw that post, and the Maokai built tank. He doesn't know how to play urf, Shaco does. The difference becomes apparent. Also shaco gets to spawn traps, which he can put all over to farm mobs and stuff.

I think the problem is that for the entirety of the time that urf was going on, people would exclusively play that instead of normal matchmaking. Then, they would get bored, and not want to play league anymore, or only play urfmode (not sure how that would be bad). Kind reminds me of myself when I was younger, and my absolute fixation on Nutella, because we never bought it. We'd always go through the whole container so fast, then we'd be out. Now a container of the stuff will last a month or three, simply because we're used to having it. Riot needs to understand that the playerbase will get over urf, and it will be just like ARAM.

: I honestly miss normal urf. I liked being able to choose what champion I got to play. I want to so badly just play Miss Fortune, but I keep getting Olaf, Anivia, and other champions that I just don't like playing. I just wanna be able to play the champions that I love and enjoy. I wish they would just give us back the original urf. I mean, this new "snowball" arurf is fun, but it would increase the amount of fun I had if I could choose what champion I got to play. One more thing, I miss being able to ban picks. Now, if someone just happens to lucky enough to get an "OP" champ in this mode, then it is just kind of not fun to play the mode in the first place. Mainly because they could get OP picks, and you get stuck with someone that doesn't fare as well in this mode.
For a year or two I literally only played league of legends to play urf mode. Stuff was fun. Mostly stuck to DOTA other than that. YSK: Dota comes with free custom game modes made by players and hosted by official servers. League of Legends definitely needs something like this. Could just imagine what the modder community could do with the game.

I wish league could just be more like Dota - no loading screen, custom, player-made game-modes, ability to micro afk players (or at least start getting their gold when they afk for long enough).
