: Global Splash Update Incoming!
I bet this global update *still* doesn't include Evelynn since her visual update is coming Soon™, 2013-2016 http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=3962735&page=1#post42363700
: Ekko Feedback Thread
I've encountered a bug with Ekko. Not sure if it was mentioned before or not. After ulting I got stuck in locked camera mode. I tried turning it off and everything, but it was no use. For the rest of the game I was forced to play with locked camera.
: Evelynn- Cinderhulk reveals Evelynn
I concur. This is very frustrating.

Also there is a tooltip that states Q damage, does it calculate the estimated damage with her passive? > I built 2x Phantom Dancer, Infinity Edge, Bloodthirster and Last Whisper and Q tooltip was saying that Q will deal less damage per attack than I was dealing with regular crits. What does the number in the tooltip mean exactly? Does it get multiplied by her passive crit damage? Each of the 5 arrows in Flurry are treated as individual attacks applying their own passive and enhanced damage, however the first arrow may or may not get said enhanced damage depending on whether the target already had Ashe's passive. The base damage for the Flurry arrows scales from 23% (rank 1) to 27% (rank 5) for a total of 115% to 135% which is the number you see in the tooltip, the enhanced damage is applied later in the way of (Total AD) x (Flurry Arrow %) x (Bonus %). This all checked out perfectly in a controlled test I did on minions with 0 armour with no runes or masteries set up to skew results, the damage I saw in game (based on the damage indicators and minion health loss) all matched up with the expected damage from my own calculations. There is just no way her normal attacks will do more than her Flurry, critical chance caps at 100% at which point she will have 260% enhanced damage (assuming IE is in the build) while her max rank Flurry will have an effective ratio of 307.8% or 351% depending if the first arrow was enhanced (27% per non-enhanced and 70.2% per enhanced arrow).
Critical chance may cap at 100%, but if you keep building it, the passive registers it over 100%. Especially considering the fact that IE adds to her passive twice (I assume both for its critical chance and its critical damage). I have managed to get her passive to 110 (+150)% bonus damage per attack. How is her crit calculated when Flurry is active? Can I assume that number in the Q tooltip gets multiplied by the passive crit provided the target is marked by Frost?
: Flurry should definitely be higher damage. If it's not, I'd love to see a video of that being the case...
Just got back from testing it. It does seem to deal more damage than basic attacks but it's pretty unclear how exactly does it scale with her passive. It got me confused because I was critting enemies for more damage than Flurry visually does (the numbers pop really quickly). : Ashe Update Feedback Thread
{{champion:22}} + {{item:3046}} {{item:3046}} {{item:3031}} {{item:3072}} Pressing Q without 5 stacks of focus will result in much higher DPS compared to the one you'd get if you triggered her new ability called **Flurry of Arrows**. Just spamming crits on the same target like no tomorrow deals way more damage. Is that intended? I was under the impression that Flurry of Arrows was intended as a steroid.
: Yes and no. There's multiple ways of looking at it. 1. In a world where Eve is a primary jungler *and* there are no way of mitigating the effects of her game other than complete passivity - Evelynn will probably never be good. So you get to a point where either 1. Eve can't be a jungler -OR- 2. There needs to be a way to mitigate the effects of her stealth somehow in order for her to be good. When you introduce the item to mitigate the effect of long term stealth - for the short term, absolutely it will make her power level holistically lower. However - this is the only possibility space in which Eve could be powerful in the future.
I assume that introduction of that item means that Evelynn will be able to have actual strong sides, like real damaging spells, real ability to snowball off of 20 kills (unlike now)? She still haven't got her compensation for being gutted because DFG exists and now this.

: This is a prime example of new isn't always better. I honestly HATE most of the new splash arts, but {{champion:103}} 's is one I particularly hate, and I wish they would not have changed it in the first place.
I don't like the new Janna and Vayne splashes, but they went live. But what are you gonna do? Spew the same nerd rage as people do about Ahri? I just accepted Keanu Reeves Vayne and anorexic Janna. Whatever you think is wrong with Ahri, just accept it.
: What defines, 'objectively'? It is impossible to judge art 'objectively' but it is possible to judge it 'subjectively, with an added standard'. So, when judging art, you may either judge it as an observer and thus accept the personal bias that is inevitably introduced due to your perspective, or judge it under the biased standard given from another perspective, and it is thus up to the individual to decide whether that feedback is useful or not. Either way, such feedback reflects 'general sentiment', which increases with the population of the players who are relevant to your art, and thus more valuable regardless. When Renekton's updated splash art was released, plenty of Renekton mains were disappointed with the change, claiming that the art did not represent Renekton properly. You didn't provide me any evidence of Ahri feedback being the result of 'raging otakus' as opposed to a 'larger population of people who care about Ahri', and so no, I do not believe you. If I mained Rumble, I definitely would've complained the shit about that new splash due to the oversaturation of red in the champion icon. Next, I refute the idea that "The people who started *so-and-so* know better than any particular individual," is a valid claim. Especially with an entertainment medium, it is 'helpful' to consider the audience it appeals to. If you look at a toilet and think it's a beautiful, even if you sculpted that toilet, there is no guarantee it is beautiful to your audience, and in particular, the audience you are targetting with it (Ahri's splash art targets Ahri players). And finally, by your standards, the opinion that "The new splash art is objectively fine" is just as "useful" as the arguments you attempt to debase. Is it your sentiment and is it still thus feedback by your standards? Yes, but I don't see how it's more valuable than others, especially those backed with particulars within the art itself.
I am not here to provide anything to you. Obviously you are blinded with your otaku-rage to see anything. But LOL your "critique" starts with: "I was horrified (not an exaggeration) upon seeing this face." Basically "I DON'T LIKE THE FACE PERSONALLY SO RIOT SHOULD REMOVE THE SPLASH ART". It's YOUR FREAKING OPINION. Do you think that everyone loves everyone's faces on each splash art? Vayne and Janna are freaking ugly compared to the old splashes and people live with it. It's not your frigging business, so your (and another hundred of people who care about Ahri too much for some reason - OH I WONDER WHY? :D) genuine, but very intrusive desire to tell Riot how to do their job stands out. And finally, my opinion is different from yours, because I am arguing with you and not with Riot. You obviously misunderstood my point. I am expressing my irritation with the massive amounts of the same repetitive "feedback" on Ahri where people try to act smart, but all say the same things like "I DON'T LIKE THE FACE, EARS NOT FLUFFY ENOUGH, MAKE UP IS BAD, POINTY ELBOWS, 1/10, I CRIED ALL NIGHT". The attitude that if you main a champ, you have the rights to them is blatantly retarded. You know what? Maybe a lot of people would like this new art better and more people will start playing her? Vocal (let's put it gently) "AHri mains" are the vast minority among all the players and ALL the players are potential Ahri players. All your arguments are based on the fact that you guys grew too attached to the old image because you had too much of a personal connection to a freaking drawing.
: This type of fallacy is known as the ad hominem, where in this specific case the arguer attempts to claim that criticism is "pathetic" because the people who care about Ahri's splash art are people who like Ahri because they oversexualize her. If my favorite champion was Zed, and I do in fact like Zed a lot, then I would also provide feedback on a new splash art based on my opinion of it, not because I sexualize him as a strong and handsome man I would like to have sex with. I would believe that many League of Legends users would do so if their favorite champion recieved updated splash art that they felt strongly about. I cannot claim that my analysis is "intelligent" or "representitive of the opinion of the population of players who enjoy Ahri as a champion", but I can in fact claim that it was well thought out and recieved a significant time investment to develop. Now please, define your definition of "pathetic". I'd love to know what part of my opinion has spurred you to think that your opinion that "all new splash arts are fine" is superior to my own.
Dude, I have nothing against you in particular. Just look around. There are literally HUNDREDS of posts with "useful feedback" on Ahri's new splash and objectively it's not even the worst. Hell, it's not even the worst among the newest splashes. Just this whole situation that the crowd of raging otakus can be dictating Riot what they can and cannot do seems pathetic to me. This would NEVER happen with ANY other champion, believe me. Every piece of that "useful" feedback is by itself is nothing but a feedback, but this whole situation as a whole looks very pathetic because all the feedback is basically saying "I love Ahri so much, I think I own her and I think I know better about how she looks than people who created her".
: First of all, you're not thinking this through. second of all, it looks pretty freaking awesome the way he does it... third of all the jungle is being hit up with so many friggen changes don't start another now to the first point which is the most important it used to be a primary starting tactic where the adc's would start with golems and take very little damage from attacking them due to their ability to kite however with grmop there would be no need to kite since hes on the other side of the wall, but the problem there is that like any smart minion he would start move to attack you go out of range and... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... reset... ok you get it more importantly the advantage of taking krugs is counter balanced by the tribrush which is an easy way to get behind the enemy and often times secure an easy kill... making gromp easier to kill would give red side an unfair advantage.
I actually suggested a solution for ADCs not taking it in my first post.
: In-Depth New Ahri Splash Critique (From an Ahri main)
i'm frigging disgusted with how much Riot listens to the pathetic feedback of "AHRI IS MY WAIFU" kind of users as opposed how to how freely they change everything else in the game, because they *know* how to change their game without someone questioning their every decision. The new Ahri splash is fine, just like every other new splash. Seriously, Riot, it's your game, put your foot down, this is beyond ridiculous. It's sad that Ahri became a cum-dumpster of the community, but this is not the reason to postpone and/or scrap a good art that your artist made for her. Enough is enough.
: New "Defender Gates" Clunkyness/Bug
I've had similar issue and I described in another thread http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bugs/tEZExl97-going-through-the-new-base-gates-looks-clunky
: I don't see the problem here. Gromp (and the the Wight) have always been ranged and it hasn't been a problem. Also, as far as visually wise, Gromp is spitting... spit at you with his tongue.
What I mean is that with increased jungle difficulty it would be only fair to make him melee just like Krugs since those are the starting paths for the most junglers. And while you can micro against Krugs up to a point that you totally nullify their damage to you, against Gromp ALL you can do is just stand there and take it to the face. Wouldn't it be better if it was melee and you could micro against it a little bit to "separate good players from the great".

: No More Ahri Updates
Poor {{champion:103}} suffers from the "waifu syndrome". She will never get her splash art if Rito doesn't drop the dream of satisfying everyone. Her appearance has always been inconsistent, but people try to make it look like she "lost" something. In reality they just want her to match their wet dreams. http://a.disquscdn.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/1545/6217/original.jpg
: with lifesteal quints and starting with e (which now applies on hit effects), would it be better?
I didn't try it, but I've tried starting with E without them and it slows you down in the first camp for about 5 seconds and every extra second makes you lose more health. I doubt that lifesteal quints (along with the loss of starting 15 AP) will be able to make up for that.
: Yeah since monsters in the jungle scale by the average of the team levels junglers can fall behind very quickly unless they are the highest leveled they will be in danger. Eve has no sustain to make up for the slow risks adding up.
> [{quoted}](name=TheAceInShades,realm=PBE,application-id=2EAF660193FA3B668D7234B3AEBB530C5AB7F651,discussion-id=EmJEAMju,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2014-12-17T03:19:29.664+0000) > > Yeah since monsters in the jungle scale by the average of the team levels junglers can fall behind very quickly unless they are the highest leveled they will be in danger. Eve has no sustain to make up for the slow risks adding up. Yeah, and it wasn't really that bad when the initial pre-season patch was released. I have been jungling with Evelynn on a 3 different preseason patches and it has gotten worse with each consequent patch. At first I was starting at gromp and I could get it, then get blue, then wolves, then base and go to red. Then they made jungle a bit stronger and I had to choose certain masteries and micro a little bit, but I still could do it. These days you can't even get Gromp without a strong leash, so this jungle path is now unavailable, so you just gotta abuse the soft reset on Krugs, because this is the only way that's left that doesn't slaughter her. The problem is that you can't even micro against gromp, so the only thing you can do to make it better is to position yourself in the best possible way, then smite it and start smacking that Q button and auto it. But the more Riot changes the game these days, the less HP she has left after killing Gromp, but there is NOTHING you can do to avoid taking so much damage. Hell, you can't even go cloth 5 because you are forced into machete since it gives like 30% of the jungle rewards.

: Okay, this latest change to the Evelynn skin looks absolutely **HORRID**. It's completely washed-out and the black character outline only highlights this further. Please revert it.
I disagree. The old model looked just flat black in game, now you can see more of the detail on her costume. I think you shouldn't judge about her looks by the screenshots on surrender@20 and just go out and test it yourself in game. It looks better IMO.
: If not all most players have this its caused by particles sometimes even my client crash
It stopped crashing for me when I enabled character inking, but my FPS is really frustrating. I hope this is a recognized issue and being worked on.
: Problem 1 it gives her a lot more mana sustain, Problem 2 laning Evelyn would cloak a bit easier problem 3 Evelyn ganks are unpleasant the slow cloak is a buffer against her ganking too easily Problem 4 Evelyn needs to understand her trade-offs.
I think there is nothing wrong with that idea. Problem 1 It actually doesn't change a lot, because her current mana sustain is already super crazy and adding another 2 second time window would not result in her getting a lot more mana than she does now. Problem 2 Solved by making this work only on jungle monsters Problems 3 and 4 Evelynn ganks are only unpleasant due to them being unpredictable, but she has a gutted kit and it's her trade-off for having free ganks. Free ganks = useless ganks unless laner sets it up for you which already gives away that you're coming.
: What makes kalista "op" from another players perspective?
I have 3 words for you. Ghostcrawler hates melee.

: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Pickpocket Twitch and Safecracker Evelynn!
Finally got to test Safecracker Evelynn. I think it looks too dark in game. I like the change you did to the small details like hair and nails compared to the 11/4 version, but I don't think the overall contrast change was necessary because now we can hardly see the detail on her clothes and looks plainly dark grey. Also any info on some new effects/particles? Or maybe at least make her emotes put on/remove her specs (glasses)? Or make her hate spikes look a little different, maybe chrome-ish metallic (like safe :D)?
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Pickpocket Twitch and Safecracker Evelynn!
Super excited about the new Evelynn. It's been too long. Also it looks very similar to the concept I've posted in the skin idea thread over here http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/oFAWgxY0-community-tell-me-your-skin-ideas?show=flat&comment=04b8 Having drawn that pic, it gave me chills to see that new skin on PBE. Thank you Rito, much love and appreciation, my RP is ready <3
: [Planned 4.5 or 4.6] Summoner Spell and Enchantment Changes
Nice changes. I wanted to suggest a change to {{summoner:13}} Clarity to make it viable. What if it worked similar to Doran's Ring, but as an active with a short cooldown while restoring a certain amount of mana or mana/energy tied to minion/champion kills/assists? It would provide a lot of interesting strategies for certain champions and it would not be too overpowered because you sacrifice a summoner spell for it.
