: It has to do with how runes can't be bought with RP. Because of this they're in a different category within the system and Riot can't go through and lower rune prices for everyone on PBE. Besides, with 1000000 IP, how many runes can't you get? Chroma packs are a bundle issue unfortunately.
When I first joined, I kid you not, I blew all of it on runes. Honestly. They cost a lot.

: There's two components here to comment on, the skin and its mode of purchase. First, the skin. I think it's really good! The particles are distinctive and impressive, and feel vaguely like Ekko's, which are also really good. I particularly like the autoattack particle, with the slowly progressing chain. The shield is also really good. It's a good concept that fits well for a crafting-only skin. That said, I do have a few minor complaints. Though I understand it's vitally important that her stun ready particle be readable, I think it could look a little more distinctive than just a palette-swap of the base. Also, it's kind of unclear what's happening in the recall animation. The more interesting element of this is the mode of sale. And this, I'm not so positive on. It's a good idea, to be sure. But it's not really something that's all that achievable. To get some idea, I bought and opened 100 chests. Now, admittedly, these are promo chests, so it's quite possible the drop distribution for rare gems is different (it's certainly different in some ways — I got 24 permanent skins, including four legendaries!). But in the 100 chests, I pulled 5 rare gemstones. Let's assume that I got unlucky, and the drop rate is slightly lower for promo chests than for regular ones, and that the average is 1 gemstone every 10 chests. That means it would take an average of 100 chests to get enough to unlock Hextech Annie. If, every week, I unlock a chest (no mean feat, given the champion pool diversity this would require, and the hassle of getting the keys), that means it would take _almost two years_ to unlock Hextech Annie. If a player decided to just buy chests with RP until they had enough rare gems, we're probably talking well over $100. And this is with approximations skewed towards Hextech Annie being easier to acquire. Moreover, even once you get 10 chests, that's a huge price to pay for one skin. If you just opened those chests, you'd get... well, I don't know the drop distribution for non-promo chests, but somewhere north of three random skins worth of value. The trade-off, either way, feels bad. I like this idea, but the cost is incredibly high. Hextech Crafting is supposed to be more about mastery than about spending, but Hextech Annie is locked away from any player who doesn't invest heavily into the system, and hard to access even then. I urge you to rebalance the costs.

: Ya, I can totally see that. We were trying to go along with Mr. Toot Toot Bard man! Though sometimes Elderwoods can be other forest-colors like Hecarim!
I've seen a couple pictures of an elderwood kindred, with the same sort of scheme that bard uses. Now, you'd have a hecarim top, Kindred jungle, LeBlanc mid, and an ADC with bard support.
: Hextech Annie, crafting and gemstones
How rare are the gems? And will the promo gems always be available? If so, does that mean you can earn the skin on live without buying the promo bundle?

Rito, I was wondering if this is the champion creation formula you use? -Give them a "effect after 3 basics" ability -A dash -A troll ass ult -Make him broke -Eventually nerf to the ground
: Why is the guy hitting people with a stick (well, hi-tech stick) AP?
ad ekko is op, go try it. build hydra, infinity edge, 2 phantom dancers, last whisperer, and bloodthirster. easily can solo baron by basic attacking and placing w for the shield also, max w, then e, then q. start w for the farming.
: His passive is WAY too strong it needs to be nerfed significantly and I also feel like the particle that indicates the passive stacks should be clearer. His Q feels really good and I like it but after a few minutes of getting the feel for the delay I no longer felt smart for using it correctly just that it was there, I don't know how to describe the feeling sorry. W is very rewarding to land correctly and feels smart to use however I feel the shield is way too large for early game. I would like to have a bit of clarity in the description of the W on whether it scales off of AD or AP because just saying 'damage' tells me nothing. His E doesn't feel smart actually just feels cheap but I guess that's fine because I feel the same with a lot of assassin's blinks. Mainly seems like there is no counterplay to this blink. I didn't get to use R effectively yet because I played a solo custom game but this is just what I noticed from that game. TL;DR nerf passive, q is easy to learn, w shield needs early game nerf, e has no counterplay.
w needs a massive nerf. if you play ad ekko and max w for the basic attack damage, at rank 5 it gives a 330 hp shield, and because of his passive/ult, he can turn the tides on a 1v1 very easily. great champ to play, and ad ekko is pretty easy too :p
: To be honest, I feel like Ekko doesn't have a place. The two playstyles one could choose is AP or AD. With AP, he doesn't really have that great of scaling, his best isn't even 100%, and his second best is just a shield scale. Many of ekko's abilities, like his Q/W, scale with only 20% ap, so getting 1000 ap would only add 200 damage. For AD, none of his abilities scale off AD, so he'd be pretty auto attack reliant. If he were a support, I could understand. He's got a slow, and a slow/stun, as well as a engage that would allow him to get to the adc. If he wants, he can also run away, chasing the adc/supp away from his adc, only to activate his ultimate and escape to safety. I feel like this is a situation that sort of applies to fizz. Many people play him ap, many play him ad. Both work, but even though he's meant to be a mage, some would argue AD fizz is even better than AP. I just don't see exactly what he's supposed to do. Full damage? Attack speed? Tank? Full AP? What are your thoughts on how ekko should be built and played? Personally I want to try AD ekko (if people would stop instalocking ekko and dodging if they don't get him...) while most go ap ekko.
On second thought, just did a custom. AD EKKO IS OP! Go tiamat --> boots (whatever your choice) ---> phantom dancer ----> infinity edge ----> last whisperer -----> bloodthirster ----> sell boots and get a second phantom dancer I just solo'd baron with it. Skill order: Start w, get e second, get q third, and max w, then e, then q. Also, you can go buy items, get some health, and then ult back to where you were! (if you're fast enough) try it!

: There is a problem with this system, and is we dont know what can we say or not: for example im playing with a friend and he says fkin feeder, we would laugh, cause we know is just a joke, but the system wont recognize this...or will? Also there must be a sheet on the client, saying what can we gonna say or not, for example,If we are on LAS or EUW we can speak spanish, and flame in spanish...so,if in LAS/LAN we flame on english, the system will detect it? Then again, In some context words can have several meanings, this is wha im trying to say, Some words are banned for use when they re harmless or not, example, I heard on LASLAN the word "bizcocho"(pancake/biscuit) is banned, If we say on a sentence "they were eating biscuits for breakfast" will they gonna be banned? and what would happens is someone says "your tit* are sweet as a biscuit" will they were banned? Then how will work this with xenophobia, and jokes? If someone says: youre a "lucian", joking with him being a black that would be discrimination/racism? and if the other answer: is because hes black? then both will be banned? Still, how we would know if we are flaming or not: ex: (I waste Flash to kill a minion) then I say "that was stupid", Then the system will be activated cause I used the word "Stupid"? Then if it is the case, if I say: "estupido/baka/dumb/" etc, will those word surpass the system? are really bad words? Note that those are examples and this post is not trying to insult anyone.
I agree. Sometimes, if you're playing with a friend, you make rude comments in chat as a joke, but you all have a laugh because either you don't really mean it or you're just joking around and your friends won't take it literally. How will the system understand whether the comment is a joke or real?

The problem I have with roaming bard is his exp. after hitting level 2-3 from just chimes, bard begins to fall behind because the chimes do not produce enough exp. if a bard stays in lane however, he will out level a constantly roaming bard by a lot. Feedback on this?
: STOP POSTING ABOUT DC AND LAG!
I disagree with this because the more people post about their games, the faster we can home in on the problem.
: That Bard Chime Bug, I found something out.
False. I experienced tons of crashes with only 1 bard ingame. It may be a Mac client issue.

We disconnected like 15-20 times that game
: Their was a bard on our team and their was a HeadHunter Akali and an eternum reksai on the the opposing team so their is also that. Ive heard recently that these are also making people crash.

: I I like the new veigar changes except for the new stun it not to big of a deal just got to put a little more thought into were you are going to place your stun. I also like his new q because idk why but I like skillshots and now you can get 2 stacks instead of 1. One other thing I don't like about the new viegar is that he has mana problems. For example if you are just using your q to farm you will run out of mana fast, but if you build a tear it really helps with his mana problems. Without the tear you can also get a few combos off before you run out of mana. Overall I like that veigar is getting some attetion and I like the new changes that are being made to him.
Mana problems are not exclusive to the new Veigar, old Veigar had extreme mana costs. I think Veigar has the 3rd highest mana cost in the game. His ult can go up to 225 mana. The other two highest are Kassadins ult and Kog maws ult.
: Veigar changes hitting the PBE Soon
ty {{champion:45}}. I will never forget
: Time to Fix Urgot, ideas for changes
Urgots ult is useless unless it is a very few specific situations.
: Fix his passive. His passive can't make up for his high mana costs.
A suggestion would be to make him have sort of a volibear passive but with mana
: Alternative Veigar Nerfs (Community Ideas)
Fix his passive. His passive can't make up for his high mana costs.
: Feedback on the Veigar changes
The reason Zed can counter Veigar even more now is because now zed can dodge all of Veigars skills except his ult, which now does less damage, and zed can use his q to poke Veigar out of lame because Veigar cannot shoot his baleful strike and have it home to zed. Even though you may think "well zeds q is a skillshot to", it can travel through more than 2 units.
