Well it has a 30 second cool down between sentinels and 90 second recharge time. Personally, I think it's in a good spot, other than the % damage. That needs to be toned down a bit.
Yea now I believe that her W passive is a tad too high. Her sentinel on the other hand, for me I don't like the Idea that an ADC can get a skill that in theory can grant vision for over a minute in two areas. For instance Ashe has a her Hawkshot and that doesn't provide vision for more than 5 seconds, where as Kalista is given two roaming wards. I just don't like the amount of freedom some of the new champs have been given lately over the previous champions.
: Bugs about new champ kalista
I haven't experienced a problem with her passive yet, but her Q is fine how it is. It is her only true offensive skill early game has a moderate cooldown and mana costs. You can't spam her Q and if you throw Q every time you get it then you will be out of mana really quick. If you miss your Q in a fight then you will probably lose the fight and it is easy to miss given how narrow the hitbox is.
: Kalista is super fun to play. I think that her sentinel is at a pretty good place right now. Even though you can use a ton of them and they supply a lot or utility, they are super easy to get rid of. The vision is focused to just a cone in front of them and that is all. you can easily sneak behind it and kill it. Additionally the sentinels are usually visible on the map even if you do not have vision of them ( not sure if bug) Other than that your analysis is pretty awesome. Try using pierce to move stacks of rend from a cannon or a minion to a champion to up your damage in trades. It's one her super cool features that most people aren't taking advantage of. As for the ultimate being sluggish, it's probably still int h works when she is released it should be way better.

: my greatest fear is actually in the orb walking, it has a huge potential to be abused, and ive seen some people unintentionally abuse it, not so much anyone who has the hang of it. what you can do it, aa or spear, jump in, aa or spear and then jump out immediately. Its extremely effective harrass that is hard to return. It lets you aa people under tower without actually grabbing aggro, and its super dangerous for a turn around surprise dmg. On top of that its an effective dodge of narrow projectiles. IM worried once a pro gets the in and outs down, its gonna be brutal, then the nerf bats coming a swinging big time.
Yea I can see where Kalista can be a bit much in regards to her passive. On the other hand, that's what makes her...well her. To me Kalista is very much a snowball champion so once you get that item or 2 ahead of your opponent you will crush them. Likewise if she is down in lane and doesn't have the right items at that moment she won't provide anything for a while in terms of dps. The other thing too is that Kalista only has her Martial Pose to really duel. With her passive she is the same as a Vayne in ult-form tumbling around except Kalista can be actually be targeted still. She is just as slippery as Vayne yet she can be easily locked down if 2 people jump on her in my opinion. If her passive needs to be nerfed in the foreseeable future I think they will reduce or straight up remove the bonus from jumping backwards and that would be all.
: I really like your analysis. I especially love the idea of changing the color of the spears in Rend to signify effective ability range. Another problem I run into when playing her is that when I use Martial Pose, Kalista will sometimes not focus on her original target anymore. So she will lunge in a direction and then pick a completely new target.
Thx. As for Kalista picking another target, I haven't noticed that yet mainly because I just spam my 'A' Left click whenever I was to attack certain things. I'll try look out for that.
