: Night & Dawn Poro King coming in 9.24!
Poro King already wasn't the best alternate gamemode, but now making the champion select completely random 100% ruins the gamemode. I personally will not play this cause, why not just play ARAM? This seems to be a hard concept for Riot to understand, but believe it or not, I like picking my champion actually. Believe it or not, I like playing League but don't always want to play on Summoner's Rift. When are you peeps just gonna make Ascension a permanent gamemode? A good ol' casual bar-brawl where you can actually pick your champion. Even Nexus Blitz was a fun mode if solely cause I could play the champion I wanted to play. **EDIT: What bothers me even more so, now thinking about this, is that less people are gonna play Poro King and then Riot is gonna turn around and tell us that people don't like/play alternate gamemodes after intentionally adding in a change they KNOW no one is going to like.**

: Pool Party Zoe
It doesn't seem like anyone has commented yet that Pool Party Zoe is currently using Cyber Pop Zoe's idle animations, [leading here to look rather awkward while jamming out to the music she isn't listening too.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hfYPa79YUE) Bringing electronics to the pool could be dangerous.
: I haven't had time to try it on PBE yet, but as someone who's been camping 10 gems waiting for something for a main of mine ... this was a bit disappointing. It looks like a hybrid between Scarlet Hammer and Star Guardian. Maybe when I try it, I'll change my mind ... but the preview materials are really underwhelming ... especially for a 10 Gem Skin ... at least it's not Lancer Hecarim bad <_<
We don't talk about Lancer Zero Hecarim.
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Hextech Poppy!
Thank the heavens I decided to check this thread because, if even I am standing alone, we need at least one person to say they like the eyes! If anything, the eyes are insanely adorable being super blue and cat-like. The whole skin feels a little bit more feline and I am 250% A-okay with that! It's cute, it's fluffy, it's fuzzy, it's adorable, and I feel like she's gonna hop on me only to slow beat me to death with a hammer and I love it! I do have to agree that the overall effects don't feel very impactful enough; specifically I have a problem with the W, which I do understand is probably harder to mess with and still have the skin be allowed in pro play/not impact to the game in general but something more could be done with it. The E could be a bit more explosive and the Q,... Could also be a bit more explosive, yeah. For the most part though I don't think the effects are bad, I honestly really like them. They need more impact but defs like 'em. Going back to the actual character model though; for awhile now, skins for Yordles have been having some problems in the face shaping. Omega Squad Trist has an insanely flat face and Snow Fawn Poppy suffers from it a bit too. However though, quite the opposite is happening here with Hextech Poppy; I feel like her face may in fact be just a bit too round in the cheeks! I said earlier the whole skin feels a little bit more feline, although when I see the face structure, she almost looks closer to that of a chipmunk! Which, don't get me wrong, is adorable too, but a chipmunk over a feline? Come on! Overall though, I love this skin and will be getting it when it hits live servers no matter what because, Poppy. Keep up the great work! Oh, and please contact the emote team and have them make two more Poppy emotes so I can have a full wheel, thank you! {{sticker:poppy-wink}}
: Cursor Update on PBE
I'm liking all the changes so far; I do love the Bronze Gauntlet but I'll be the first to admit I lose track of it more easily than humanly possible. Just through the slight visual representations so far, the new cursor looks that much more popping to where it should keep relative priority even when everything is happening all at once. In regards to the variances between cursor options when hovering something more action based (enemy/ally hover), I personally think the complete change in visual representation is more clear towards the action rather then simple color indication. With a difference in form, it's becomes much easier to notice and learn. Simple color switch too subtle for how many things can be happening at once in LoL; hovering an enemy and having my cursor swap to a red sword suddenly stands out a lot more then if I hovered an enemy and the butt end of the cursor lights up red. Lastly, I personally think the cursor indication for putting down wards is honestly perfect as it is. The interface for the action should be simple because it is something relatively simple. Having a big, bulky cursor for putting down a ward makes me feel like it'll just end up covering the more subtle details on the Rift, such as the marks left when an enemy ward dies, or quick glimpses of an enemy you'll see when going to put down deep vision. Perhaps making the visual representation of when a ward is or isn't in brush being more clear would be nice, but outside of that I think the warding cursor is fine. Just my quick thoughts on the cursor updates; overall I love them and look forward to their shipment.
: I assumed it was "A-doe-able". As in deer terms, "fawn" and "doe", though I'd be lying if I said the first thing I read wasn't "A-do--able"...
Oh, that works well too; well, both ways you read it really. (Ahem) I just figured at first someone hit the e key instead of the r key since they're right next to each other. :o It being a deer pun though is hella cute, I hadn't thought about that despite skin. (I'm just dumb! :D)

There was a bit of code for testing purposes that wasn't taken out before she was shipped to the PBE. Summary of the problem; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWGfrchgyCM
: Maybe but think big. How many news and patches are released to improve and change in better the game, and how many skins, and in percentage how many bugs. Is a matter of proportions. But eventually you are saying that less changes could be done, but better done and more bugs-free... Is a valid opinion and a management direction. Maybe RIOT thinks differently because a huge community needs huge changes. I would not talk of bad craftmanship but just massive craftmanship. In the end I think again that in proportion of the news, bugs are not so much and not so heavy... Maybe :P
At the end of the day there is no real right or wrong to this discussion and 90% of the time people will just go with whatever keeps the crowds happy, but I personally just don't think it's too much to ask from Riot to have someone properly double check the largest part of those changes. (Specifically Zoe in this case, or something equally as important in others.) I just think a billion dollar company could (and should) be doing better in regards to the small things. Haste makes waste whereas pace makes perfection.
: [CLOSED] PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: PROJECT: Vi!
The only real complaint I have about the skin is that the face piece and general hairstyle look too close to PROJECT Ekko. Maybe something closer to debonair would look better? Just the opinion of one person though.
: If you know of coding you should also know that: 1- "Code" is often inside a bigger structure (the main program) and is not obvious that if something works alone it will work and cooperate with everything, which is why the point 2 2- Code must be tested, moreover in big and complex interaction system like lol. Bugs can happens and sometime is a stupid one but still the best makes mistakes too. 3- PBE is a testing environment. Is like trying to do a bomb and check it how and when it explodes. Not necessarily funny or enjoying, not necessarily fair. So if you are in PBE i frankly dont understand some points of your discussions. Dont take it bad. ;) Peace
I would point out how 1 and 2 both come back to League having spaghetti coding in the first place, but that dives deep into League history, which overall is an understandable one. Does that entirely excuse the continual mistakes though? It gives them credibility some but at the end of the day it's just lazy. Look at Bee Keeper Singed even; shipped to PBE buggy, sat on PBE for 2 weeks buggy, and then its release date had to get pushed back because even out of all that time Riot still didn't properly test the skin over. It's just bad craftsmanship.
: Why don't you code something and lets trash on you for a change.
That's the ironic part; I've done coding more then enough to know anyone wise would write notes and keep track of what they're doing, knowing full well how easy it is to mess up code lol. A single character out of place and weeks worth of work simply won't work. It's because I've knowledge in coding that something so amateur being done by such a large company is embarrassing.
: [PSA] about ZOE being disabled and people crying "How much time it takes to fix a bug"
I still think it's overall unprofessional; there is a big difference between an unintended bug involving something small or unimportant (RIP {{champion:82}}) compared to a bugged new product which only has a problem because someone forgot to remove the problem they intentionally created in the first place. Granted at the time it was for testing reasons, but hello? Does Riot not have other people to check someone else's work? There was not a single other person around to look over or check the new champion to make sure something like this didn't happen in the first place? No one else at all? Not a single person thought to double check the new product? And as for the fix times; sure it's in the middle of the night right now, as well as yes it makes more sense to fix a bunch of bugs at once compared to shipping out individual fixes for each one. But for Zoe specifically; not only is this a problem they were able to find and address right away, but considering she was released at 5PM EST (middle of the day for anyone in NA) there was more then enough time to send in a simple bug fix for the main, new part of the patch. Sure, we've all plenty of time to test her once the fix does come through, but it's the general stand point that Riot shouldn't have had this screw up in the first place. It's honestly just overall downright lazy and unprofessional.
: Opinion on Project: Jhin
It's a small point but a very fair one. I think at the end of the day though, triangles just look cooler then squares. I personally wouldn't mind either way though, I don't think.

Oh she functions, Riot just forgot to turn off the [debug ~~cheats~~ tools](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/7b8vv5/an_interesting_interaction_involving_zoes_joke/dpgewdz/). Next time though, please do some research, or nuance your comment.
That only makes my statement that much more true in fact. Something so simple causing such a problem; and still hasn't been fixed on top of it all.
: Well that patch was pretty late in the day. Believe or not, Rioters are still humans. They don't work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just be patient and it should be fixed with the Tuesday patch.
No offense, but there is no excuse for Rito not having a functioning character at basic levels this stage in development. They have their own practice team for a reason and no one play tested Zoe enough to realize her W was spitting out item actives and summoner spells all over the place? This is just another perfect example of Riot being sloppy and unprofessional. 12 hour disable on the new champion; what even is that lmao?
: Zoe portrait looks really bad. Is it a placeholder?
: Disenchanting Skin Shards for Orange Essence is a complete ripoff. Riot Pls...
Why hasn't there been more discussion on this nor anything official from Riot? It's been on the PBE for awhile now but still no word. The changes in blue essence and IP this coming preseason should have nothing to do with orange essence.
: This is a bandwagon case. Everyone saying comet not working well on Teemo is wrong. It lands 80% if the times. I been working on next video guide and arcane comet is really effective so far. Please stop rehearsing stuff like this. It’s really difficult to walk out of in lane phase pre movespeed items. And later with the shrooms post 6 it’s very hard to dodge when hitting a mushroom due to the slow. I have tested 4 games with it so far and have gotten 15+ kills each game.
It's definitely not bad on Teemo, don't get me wrong; especially once you get your shrooms so the enemy is slow when your comet triggers. More so this post is just about the potential DFT users are without said mastery/rune now, Teemo only being another case of tick damage is all.
: Yeah, we're aware there's some pain for DFT champions right now. Fearless wrote some [thoughts on that here](https://fearlessdesign.tumblr.com/post/166300357423/can-i-ask-why-you-didnt-opt-for-a-full-dft-port).
Nice, I'm glad it's being considered and looked at. :3 Thank you for updating me on the matter.
