: Gnar gameplay and balance feedback
Posted a bunch of feedback [here](http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-gameplay-feedback/z0izlxQA-gnar-feedback). Mostly UX/Feedback focused.
: We can't try the skin as shop does not work :( Fix it plis rito....
Skin won't be in this update, the assets for Mega Gnar aren't there.

: That's a good idea, thanks! We're monitoring how people are using the existing reporting and upvote/downvote features to get a better idea of how to improve these over time, but suggestions are welcome.
Speaking of suggestions, not sure if [this](http://community.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/c/site-feedback/UGedv6Ar-new-pbe-community-site-suggestions) ever got seen. Was a while ago now though - the known issues list is now a thing :)

: Well posting on eune forums wont bring a dev to answer, posting to support for an answer said that would pass the feedback to the designers and encouraged me to post on any forum associated with gameplay features, so yeah i need an answer from a dev not random players. And since devs keep an eye on these forums and its pbe environment why not post for a change to a skin. I dont see how this is of toppic. It is just a suggestion.
This forum is for discussing features that are currently in testing. See the posting guidelines on the right hand side [here](http://community.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/c/gameplay). Specifically: > **Don't** > > * Post suggestions or feedback discussions about things on the Live environments.
: Since i have heard this kind of response again i will tell u this. Lets get real man. Seriously. Lets say for example you are a mid laner and an udyr ganks you. As long as you see the enemy icon rushing to you, you just react. Doesnt matter who the enemy is you react. New players dont know half of the champs icons so if they see for the 1st time an udyr with the legendary icon this wont make any difference than seeing an udyr with the classic icon. Plus most of ppl who start lol always try to figure what champ would fit em and look for the coolest skins so they already know that this legendary icon belongs to that champion. Even if u go to the store riot has ultimate skins recommended in order to be seen. As for the experienced players? Lol i dont even have to comment on this part. You have learnt a **** load about this game, you have a better map awarerness and you still cant figure if this guy running behind you is an udyr or not? Please. Also there are only 2 ultimate skins in this game. I agree that if riot changed icons for normal and legendary skins this would be chaotic. But for 2 Ultimate skins it wouldnt matter at all. It is simply a minor change. You spend 3250 rp for a High Class skin that changes everything about the champ. So the icons have to be changed as well in order to fit better. And u cant deny this from a graphic designer perspective. Edit; If my tone sounds aggresive i apologise, i dont mean to offend, i just want to explain why a change like this wouldnt cause any trouble and it would encourage players like me to buy an ultimate skin. I am still gonna buy this skin in live servers even if a change wont happen. I just find that a visual change on the icon would complete the kit of an Ultimate skin! (:
I'm just telling you that this is most likely the reason, obviously this has no effect on experienced players. It can be hard to put yourself in the shoes of an inexperienced player. The champion is always associated with that icon, all the way from the store to the client, champion select, in-game, and the scoreboard. The functionality exists (see: pre-release footage of the skins) but never made it as far as the PBE. Not only that, but this is completely off topic for the PBE forums.
: Ultimate Skin Icons
It's so it doesn't cause any confusion to players who may not be aware of the skin. The champion is still Udyr, and people will recognise the Udyr icon as Udyr.
: Great feedback, thanks! Unfortunately you folks are not seeing the full new player experience. One of our sister teams made that video for the download page, so new players actually have an opportunity to watch it before even getting to this landing screen. However, we should probably have it here as well! I'd personally like to change the art on the landing screen for the reasons you outline. However it is deliberate that we don't have any specific information there because we actually want to push people towards playing (that's the best way to learn, really).
Ah, that makes a bit more sense. That video will need to be updated for S4 though, a few parts of it are now outdated and may cause some confusion. Glad that you agree it needs to be in the client somewhere too - I think it's an invaluable resource for teaching new users the basics. Also, if the reason for the emptiness on the first screen is to push the user to get right to playing, then I'd recommend that there are direct links to the tutorial & battle training on that screen. No need to make the user go through additional steps (which at the moment are not even clear) to get there.
: New Player Features
**Feedback on the landing screen:** * The first screen isn't very helpful at all. It contains no information whatsoever and doesn't even explain that this is a tutorial or that you can click the arrows on the sides. The artwork used also somewhat implies that the game might be PvE focused. * You should be directed in one direction at the start instead of being given the option to go backwards. On top of this, there should be a brief overview of the key goals of gameplay. Going directly to 'turrets' or 'community' isn't helpful (however, I do agree that if a player was only to see one screen, it is probably best that it be 'turrets'). * There is absolutely zero mention of player behaviour, the Summoner's Code, or the Tribunal. Instilling the fact that negative behaviour will contribute to a loss early on is an opportunity that is being lost here. * Why on earth is [this video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IjVvkR3zag) not used? :) * There should be direct links to 'next steps' at the end - namely the tutorial or battle training. * There should also be a way to get the landing screen back after closing it.
: Calling out specific players on the forums isn't the culture we want to create on the forum, so I've removed the player name from the OP. When a player intentionally ruins the play experience for you on PBE, **please use the report feature at the end of game**. Though the PBE has no Tribunal, my team and I analyze reports to understand the community better and take action where appropriate. Though we deactivated a large number of frequently-reported accounts when we rolled out the new PBE access system, there are likely still some that passed under the radar due to the small nature of the PBE. Continuing to use reports will help flag these individuals over time.
While I agree that witch hunting serves no purpose, I really feel there needs to be a far more prevalent cause and effect with toxic behaviour on the PBE. Hell, a 'guilty until proven innocent' system could work, where if they get so many reports in a single game their account would be deactivated pending a review by Riot. If people knew that reports would actually have a real, instantaneous effect they would actually use it. And they would also know that abusing it would result in similar action against their own account. Problem is, right now many people just don't seem to think that reporting on PBE does anything. While this is quite a... harsh policy, with the smaller community that exists here I think options like this might be viable, unlike on live.
: [INFO REQUEST] "Unexpected plataform error"
Summoner: Simburgur I am able to log in, but I get several 'Unexpected Platform Error' popups when I try to go to my profile and edit masteries.
: I agree that our ability to communicate to PBE testers about bugs isn't great or consistent-- whether we've seen them, verified them, fixed them, or even delivered the fixes. **In this case of the platform error originally reported, we're planning to deliver the fix for this issue on the next PBE deploy.** My team and I are working on some changes to the PBE community site, since testers deserve to know that their feedback is being heard and acted on. Our approach to collecting and communicating about bugs on the community will probably be a bit different for version 3.15, and we'll be working to improve more over time. That said, it should be expected that the PBE is a test area where things might be broken, even for several days as issues go through the process. In this case, a subset of players were affected by a bug, and our dev teams reacted within a couple of working days. It's not a good experience for those testers, but instability should be understood as part of playing on the beta server.
Glad to hear this! It was one of my main gripes about this forum. I'm working on a game that's in beta right now, and although the community is a lot smaller, we use [a very focused subforum](http://https://forum.subterraneangames.com/forums/bedrock-beta-bug-reports.70/) where threads get auto-tagged when posted, then updated by us as progress is made. Non-bug reports get removed and duplicate reports get merged. It's been working very well for us so far. Something like that would be really good here, as there are so, so many duplicate reports (with bad thread titles), which can make it difficult to find exactly what you are looking for.
: 40% is a plurality, not a majority.
If there's two votes for a champion does it get twice the chance or is it equal to the champions with 1 vote?
: This isn't a bad idea. A few tech hiccups prevented us from getting it in for this weekend, but we'll keep the idea around when/if One For All cycles back.
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback!
: [Site Update] More Formatting Tools
Awesome :) Could we get quote added to the toolbar too?
: Circle Around your champion (Only on 1 for all )
Not a bug, it's there to help you quickly see which champion is yours.

: One For All Enabled On PBE!
One suggestion: **Number each player.** Generally it's easy to refer to each individual player by their champion, but obviously that isn't something you can do here. What I propose is that a number be added to the end of each player name in chat, above their health bar, and on the leaderboard. * Above their name, it should be as simple as **[#] Playername**, similar to how team tags are shown. * In chat, it should appear after the Champion name, eg: **Playername (Ziggs #): Message** * On the leaderboard, it should appear the same way: **Ziggs #** Pretty simple change that would resolve a lot of confusion that seems to be happening.
: Not tested with other champions yet, as far as I know it's just Nasus.
It's a known issue that actually effects everything melee (including minions). I had to surrender a game to bots because I could not win :(
: That's actually under question at the moment - I'm not actually sure about the specifics of that since I'm just a designer and not an artist/modeller. One of the ideas that I pitched alongside the trinkets was the idea of reskinning all Trinket VFX/Models. Some slight gameplay concerns - but I think it'd be cool if you could theme all your Trinkets to be like 'Flaming' or 'High Tech' etc - So you get a little Eye of Sauron, Flaming Ward, etc - rather than just selling individual ward skins. That's my personal 2 cents into the skin issue though.
I somewhat understand the different model from a readability perspective (different model for different duration wards), but I think this might be better achieved by having different variations of the green-circle-thing that floats above Stealth Wards, as that is currently what says 'I function differently', not the actual mesh of the ward. Re-skinning Trinkets does sound cool though, but probably not something we'll see for quite a while (if it even happens)?

: Okay - I think I know why this isn't working (We have a special Yellow Trinket Ward Character that never got pushed to PBE) - I'll try to get this fixed for the next build. EDIT: Should be in for ze next build - unsure when that will be.
Some of it seems to be there, I was wondering what that was :P Does this mean no ward skins for Trinket wards?
: [bug][minorish] mytrs call doesnt appear in inventory at end game
New items icon images do not appear to be have been added to the air client yet.
: Hi guys, I've attempted to reproduce this internally but have been unsuccessful. Every time the dragon flies back to its starting point (as it does in the video), it regains all of its health. In the video, it appears as though this isn't happening. Has anybody else tried to or been able to reproduce this?
No luck, on dragon or other camps. Have no tried on live, only PBE.
: Seemed to me that only ranged minions/ranged champions could hit the nexus/inhibitors. Melee champs, melee minions, and super minions could not hit the nexus/inhibitors.
: How long of a delay was it before you received the confirmation codes?
I can't see the exact time on my original post, but I tried 5 and 10 minutes before it, and then the two (identical) codes arrived at 01:46am (UK time). I had closed the page by then, so I had to re-do the set up and get a new code, which arrived in less than a minute.

: [Minor Bug] Summoner Icons
I had no purchased S3 icons, but all of my Udyr/Ez icons and Harrowing '13 icons are still there (just relogged to check, too). Edit: Did you try relogging? Can you repurchase that content? (Icons/skins)
: The new signups are up, but we haven't disabled all the old accounts yet. We will be disabling the old PBE accounts (accounts created prior to the new signup process) gradually.
Is there any way to check if an account has been flagged for keeping?

: just realized the icons probably aren't even out yet. I mistook the ward skin icon as a harrowing icon.
They are out, but they can take several hours (sometimes even several days) to appear. Wait a while and report back if you still don't have them. Edit: Although, it appears you are using one right now?
: Wow, Simburgur. Seriously, wow. Not only was that a lot of great feedback, your formatting is beautiful! Will take some time to go through it all. Please keep the feedback coming, we truly appreciate it.
**Some more feedback after trying to put some non-standard teams together today:** Many players just do not *get* that Team Builder is capable of non-meta teams, and will react poorly (toxicity or lack of understanding - anything from saying "*Oh, I can X instead*" to "*WTF I am X!*" - some even thought it was the result of a bug) when placed in a lobby with a non-standard setup. I'm honestly not sure how to approach this problem though - maybe making it more obvious somewhere what the composition is in the lobby, like a small summary on the minimap saying: >####**Team Setup:** >**2 x Jungle** > **1 x Top** > **1 x Mid** > **1 x Bottom** As the text underneath a champion/player name seems less important and gets glossed over once a player is in that slot. Although, maybe it will just get better over time and finding people who are open to such strategies will be easier when there's a larger playerbase in the queue.
: Screen changed color when akali cast's W in the Howling Abyss BUG REPORT
Not a bug as far as I am aware, it's a QoL feature to inform the player that they are stealthed. Happens on other characters with stealth too.
: Extreme exploits of TeamBuilder in ranked.
There is no real way around this, but you also have to keep in mind that **Team Builder isn't going to be used in ranked**, at least in its current form.

: My opinions on your comments: "Champ names should appear next to champion portraits in the lobby [...]" For starters, I'd like to have that data available on mouse over the picture. I believe that a very high percentage of players knows the champion related to the portrait still, you got a very good point related to new players they really need those names as they are new to the game. "Lack of feedback after hitting find group button" I didn't get that one... for me the feedback was correct, I didn't feel the lack of it. Not that more motion or music changes or whatever couldn't improve it I just feel that it is ok as it is and I'd "buy" it. The leader flow one, good point. I just went and filled the form completely as I usually do and I forgot about that detail. "Champion Switching" and/or "Multi-Queueing" Really good point. As a main support I have 4 supports I play most and I usually ask the adc who he prefers me to take as a support and then I give him the list of my 4 main supports. As the system is now, I'd have to end up in a team that is after the support I'm queuing and it can take a lot more effort and time to find me a team instead of queuing with all the supports I would prefer to play with. For the Multi-Queueing About the UI, I'd make a list of selections where the user could ask for more "rectangles" where he can fill in the champion, masteries, runes, etc... and, with that, multi-queue to do any of what he pleases. Here's one idea of my own: __Queue sets__ This is inspired by the item sets and appreciated by the lazy. If multi-queueing is meant to be implemented I think that many would appreciate if they could make their own sets of champions + role + position + runes + masteries like one item set except you set it up while customizing for queue, then just press an appropriate button to save the current "view" with a name. Next time, when doing the team builder queue, there will be an alphabetical ordered list on the left or right of the screen with the option to "apply". It just fills the fields automatically with that "template". The user can then adapt to his "feelings" of that day and get the kind of game he wants. What do you think?
>"Lack of feedback after hitting find group button" I didn't get that one... for me the feedback was correct, I didn't feel the lack of it. Not that more motion or music changes or whatever couldn't improve it I just feel that it is ok as it is and I'd "buy" it. This ties into my other points I made about where and when certain options should be, and where stuff should be added. Specifically just on this point (and it's not just an issue with Team Builder, just more prevalent here): Newer players may miss the minor change to the home screen to indicate they are in a queue. It could seem like the whole thing just 'failed' when they hit 'go'. >Queue sets >This is inspired by the item sets and appreciated by the lazy. I saw a more streamlined version of it [here](http://community.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/c/gameplay/H3dVO8g0-suggestion-quick-select-recently-played-champion-image), and think it would be an excellent addition if multi-queuing was added.

No problem! Hope it helps :) Edit: It appears the Halloween summoner icons are not appearing on the community site (currently using the ward statue icon).

: Combat Text, Ceremony, and Particle Changes!
**Last-Hit Ceremony:** Very nice, the high-pitch gold sound is specifically a big improvement - a very rewarding sound for an activity players should be practicing (last hitting). However, I think it might be worth having a 'large gold' sound for kills, Dragon, Baron etc as they are often not the direct result of every player, so a less *direct* sound might be good. **Level-Up Ceremony:** As some others have said, this needs to be louder (visually and audibly), as well as slightly more persistent. It's certainly prettier than the old one, just a bit too easy to miss, especially on characters who have quite a lot of blue on/around them already. Everything else seems good!
