: baron and dragon don't attack you
Happened to me in a non-custom game
: PBE Bug Mega Thread - Summoner's Rift Update
Just got out of first game on new map. Baron and Dragon both bugged, didn't attack at all. They both cast no abilities and did no attacking. For both of them I made sure to try again upon respawn, game thing happened. ENtire game both big monsters did not cast any abilities or attempt to damage, just stood idle while we killed them.
: **Braum** Hey guys. I'm a support main, so here's my evaluation of him. I understand that you can't really change TOO much about him right now, so I'll bear that in mind as I proceed. **Ability Run-Down ** **Q**: Thematically, and in terms of what he actually does, it feels a tiny bit out of place. He's this big old damage sponge, but he has a poke/ranged slow. **However**, I think he *needs* his Q, especially in lane. His Q is basically his bread in butter in lane right now. I see other suggestions in this thread to turn it into a charge, but then that's sort of pushing him towards Leona and Alistar, where you go all in. Plus, it would be a bit broken. You Q onto the enemy ADC in lane, auto him once, then W backwards onto a minion or your ADC to get to safety while your ADC procs the stun and gets free poke. Then he can mitigate poke back (from the support Annie, let's say) with his E. I personally am a fan of where his Q is right now, jut in terms of what it does. **W**: Big fan, cool ability. I absolutely agree that you should not be able to W to wards, as it would give him far too much mobility. My only gripe with it is the tank stats and the visuals ** don't feel like anything**. LIke when you W as Leona, you get this big shield and you're like damn I can take a hit right now. Probably several his. And while I understand that his W is also a large repositioning tool, it just doesn't *look or sound or feel* like you've become tankier. My suggestion would be maybe a more flashy animation, maybe have him yell something or laugh when he does it. His line, I think "BRAUM IS HERE!"?? that's good. But maybe something visually. Tiniest of changes. In addition, I think his W will need some sort of adjustment for him to work in competitive play. The 20% scaling on it is nice, especially in solo queue where you see supports building Randuins and such, but in pro play, the base numbers might be a bit low. **E**: Cool concept, obviously one of the things most core to his identity as a damage soak. Only issue with it right now is in teamfights, it's extremely difficult to get a read on what you're blocking. This might just be me being gold, but sometimes after a teamfight I'm like "Did I just block anything? I saw my shield light up but how much was I taking?" I would recommend making it more obvious when a projectile has been blocked I guess. I don't know. Also I think **the E should be a tiny bit wider**, since right now, especially since the hit box on it it a little weird, it feels very difficult to block certain things. Obviously you have your W to position, but the problem is by the time you land, the angle between your target and the enemy has changed. For example, I once W'd to my Graves to block an incoming Ezreal Q that I was anticpating, so I made the jump and E'd, but he had moved a bit and his Q skirted the edge of the shield hitbox and still landed. So, I'd make it a bit wider. That's all. **R**: I like it quite a bit, when he slams down you're like DAYUM THIS DUDE IS STRONG. Good where it is, maybe increase the slow duration to 2 seconds after leaving zone, or make it so the knockup on secondary targets is longer. But overall feels great. **Strengths: ** -Likable champ *that comes to life with personality*. Unlike certain champions, like Fiora, who don't really *feel* like what they're supposed to be (a fencer), Braum feels like the warm-hearted, BFG he was designed to be. I particularly enjoyed his voice acting, props to whoever you used, because the man sounds the part. -Extremely high *skill ceiling*. It is nice to see champions that really take a bit of a brain to use, and I personally feel that supports, especially due to their lack of CSing, could use a lot more mechanic-intensive champions, like Lulu and Thresh. Don't get me wrong, I think it is important to have things like Support Annie and Support Soraka and Taric, since those cater to people who don't really desire to struggle with a champion's mechanics. However, I think Braum is a champion who will take a lot to fully master and maximize his potential. I will come back to this in the cons section. -Feels *unique*. There's not really another support in the game where you can run alongside your team eating as much damage as you. As I said before though, his E should be wider, so it doesn't just feel like a Leona with her W on running alongside eating shots. ALso, more importantly, is I think he the first truly positioning based support there is, where your position in fights is absolutely crucial. **Cons:** -As I mentioned before, his teamfight feels bizarre. this may just be because I'm still learning the champ, but as stated, it sometimes doesn't feel like I'm doing anything, even if I am. -That E hit box though. Seriously, just want to emphasize again that the E needs to be a widened a bit. **Overall Final Thoughts** Fun champion, as a support main I can totally climb on board. Great kit, champion has real personality (although the door bit of his lore is a bit ??? for me given its size). The only fear I have for him is that he will be unpopular because he will probably be very, very niche. A champion with a high skill ceiling, difficult positioning requirements, and a kit **that really only truly excels versus ranged champions** will make his popularity in solo queue and competitive play fairly low. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, I think people will still tend to gravitate towards Leona, Thresh, and Alistar for tanks. Great job on this champion Riot. Keep up the good work, tell whoever the voice actor is that he killed it. I can't wait to see what you come out with next.
