: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Pulsefire Thresh Prestige Edition!
Okay, so it's too late for a model change. Whatever. At least make the rest of the skin better to make up for this terrible head. [Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ThreshMains/comments/dto3fl/color_suggestion_for_prestige_thresh/) is an excellent proposed edit that actually makes the skin decent.
: 6armedrobot has explained that a bit [here](https://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/client-new-features-feedback/RBJKZLQ4-pbe-bugs-feedback-thread-pulsefire-thresh?comment=00160000). The splash is not the issue, it's the model. Riot KateyKhaos explained it similarly about a year ago with [Program Nami](https://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/client-new-features-feedback/dVrkMGlm-pbe-bugs-feedback-thread-program-nami?comment=000b0000). Edit; for clarity I have decided to just quote Katey here, but for full context please do check the link: >I do agree that it's cool when players can be involved in skins! It's not super practical all the time, though. Let's say we put a skin on PBE and players want entirely different models/animations. A new animation can take a week or do, depending on the complexity, and that's a week we lose on another skin for another champion. We allocate x amount of time on any particular skin (including bug fixes and PBE tweaks), so that we can plan to make x number of skins a year. TL;DR - making large changes once development is nearing completing means giving less skins to champions overall. Currently, given our team size/pipleline, we can't accommodate making a skin for every champion once a year - that'd be 140 skins a year! I know it's not a super ideal situation, but it's the reality for the time being.
Model changes take time. I'm not saying they don't. What i AM saying is that it would be 100% worth it to fix the head model. I encourage you to look at every comment on this thread, the base skin thread, the comments on skin spotlight videos, surrender @ 20 post comments, even go to reddit and visit r/threshmains or simply type in "Pulsefire Thresh" and read the comments on every post. No one wants this skin as it is. Not a single player is going to be upset HURR DURR MY CHAMP SKIN WAS DELAYED A WEEK because they had to fix the head. Putting trash like this into the game not only devalues Thresh, the Pulsefire line, but also the cosmetics as an entirety. It's so disappointing that the skin team sees this large community reaction to the skin and still think it's good enough quality to be put into the game. Not to mention that others as well as myself have settled for, "Fine, if you can't change the model even though it was brought up on the first day of PBE, at LEAST change the eye color/accent color" They've proven they can do small color edits like with KDA Ahri/Akali and still refuse to.
: That would mean Riot would have to take time away from other skins to continue working on this one, which wouldn't be fair to other skins either. Everything would have to de belayed that way, which likely isn't possibly when taking events, holidays and other timings into account.
Of course other things would be delayed. If only they could get it right the first time, yeah? Delays happen, and I seriously don't think that changing the head model is going to cause the winter 2020 skins to be released months later. If we wanted them to redo the entire skin, then that would be too big of a delay but seriously how hard can it be to give him a proper jaw and change the splash? They've already demonstrated that changing splash art isn't a long or difficult process because they do it for every prestige skin. Hell, even the terminator suggestion in here with edited splashes look like Riot quality.

I have a few parts to give feedback on and some questions to ask at the end as well that hopefully you could answer. > > **Thresh's skull** - it's too small for his body, there is too big of an empty space between his shoulders and head it looks very weird. > Secondly why is his mouth/face or whatever the thing protruding from his skull is facing the ground? It looks like you were going for a plague doctor look but were too scared to stick his mask straight. This looks so odd to me, it's especially noticeable in the second turn around image. > > **His noodle hair** - If there is anything that needs to be fixed it should be this. It looks very unnatural and doesn't fit the skin at all. Please consider removing the hair entirely like what is done on other skins or make it more chain-like. I believe the problem with the hair has to do with it being very boxy and uninspired, no one really knows what this is supposed to look like so it just doesn't leave a good impression. > > **His innards** - This looks so good please don't change a thing about this it looks very sleek especially with the hints of purple and the aura coming out of it. Very nice looking good job here. > > **The coat/robe** - It's too dark, so when you see the white on his lapel it stands out in a bad way. Is there any other iterations of the coat that we can see? I would love to see what other ideas you have come up with for the colour scheme of this. > > **The gloves and shoes** - Again these are very nice looking, the shoes are sleek with nice copper toes its pleasant on the eyes and not too distracting. The gloves are sick, they are so epic and stand out like they should as they are the hands holding the two most powerful abilities in the game. > > > Questions I have for you and riot, **what is the point of threads like this?** I've been reading some of the responses you have made towards other posts here and basically you just say that nothing can be done about design and that you will still forward it to the team. **Are the consumers ever a factor in changes made to skins?** I was always under the impression that these "feedback posts" were just that, giving feedback to riot on what we like and dont like hoping for a change but after seeing these responses it really seems like Riot never has that intention to begin with. > **Am I correct in assuming that nothing will change for design both with this skin and the prestige edition of this skin?** seeing as these are using the same model there is almost no chance that this skin gets pulled from release and reworked into something that the community is generally more pleased with as opposed to nearly all the posts being against the skin. > I have sunk so much time into this champion, I get so much joy playing him but for all that time I put into playing this champion I still don't feel like I have a voice at all even on the smallest things like small details of a skin. > > Thank you, hopefully you take my feedback and can answer some of these questions I have for you. Hi there! Thanks for the questions. I'll try to add a bit of clarity. Feedback it taken very seriously. We collect constructive criticism, disseminate it to the team, and apply what we can to future develpment. By the time a skin hits PBE, it has been in production for many weeks. Each level of production builds on the previous and design is one of the first. Changing a model element (like the head), although it feels like it should be easy, is not a plug-and-play situation. The changes we are able to make are largely small SFX or VFX tweaks. Hope this helped answer your questions. Have a great weekend!
Then delay the skin? Riot is blind if they think that the community will be happy with this skin. Delay it while you fix the head. I promise no one will be upset with the skin being delayed for this reason. It's fucking abysmal that you guys can see literally EVERY SINGLE POST here saying to fix it and yet refuse to. What an embarrassment
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Pulsefire Thresh Prestige Edition!
Going to copy and paste from my post on the base skin, didn’t realize this skin would get it’s own thread. Other than the obvious wanting the head/eyes to be changed, here’s some things I noticed: Was just able to play the Prestige Edition, and my lantern bugged at the start of the game. When Thresh spawns, only his lantern is visible as he rises from underground. My lantern never moved into my hand as the game started, and was stuck underneath me the entire game. image. I thought it might be fixed if I threw my lantern, but this happened. Some other thoughts about Prestige: Would be nice if the souls were golden as well. Also, the base skin has a blue light pulsing down the panel back of his jacket. Not sure if its intended to have this for the Prestige as well but that feature is very nice, it would be a shame if the "upgraded" Prestige edition was actually a downgrade due to lacking it.

I think if the hair was more flowy like the splash and not as awkwardly stiff-looking, it would be an improvement. The glowing ribbons seem look in idea but poorly executed.
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Pulsefire Thresh
Riot- Since it appears you aren't taking feedback on design changes, let me offer some for the readability of the skin. I've messed around in customs but after playing my first draft mode game, I noticed a few things (note: this only applies to the base skin, since Prestige isn't available for purchase at this time): 1. Souls. They're more translucent than in other skins, which makes them blend into the background more, and sometimes near impossible to see if they land on a blue minion. 2. Death Sentence. The wind up takes longer than on other skins, and then the hook projectile doesn't come at the same timing/speed as the rest of his skins. It seems just ever so slightly off, might have to do with how bright and flashy the wind up is compared to other skins. 3. Flay. Sometimes the glowing particles and the ground particles don't align (2:05 in this video: https://youtu.be/P8E3hO2Sdtg?t=124) 4. Eyes. Very hard to focus on laning phase/teamfights with these ugly eyes staring me down. Consider making them glow more and less like weird beady buttons or even just change the color altogether. Nearly everyone wants the head changed but if it's too late for model changes, at least tweak the eye color. **EDIT:** Was just able to play the Prestige Edition, and my lantern bugged at the start of the game. When Thresh spawns, only his lantern is visible as he rises from underground. My lantern never moved into my hand as the game started, and was stuck underneath me the entire game. [image](https://i.gyazo.com/c0ae1f504adcc138d37dac39f651254c.png). I thought it might be fixed if I threw my lantern, but [this happened](https://i.gyazo.com/0c6cf9cc514b581c0fedc6d1446e0f45.jpg). : Back to the drawing board Riot.
I also think there's much better choices on themes, but that's honestly not the issue with the skin. It's the bird mask, noodle hair, fried egg W, mobile game model. If we can't get a proper fix on the head, at least change the eyes.

Assuming the Prestige edition fixes the cloak problems, I don't see how it can fix this mess of a robotic plague doctor bird head. Seriously, this shape and the eyes don't fit at all with Thresh's thematics or the Pulsefire line. Give him a proper jaw and not a beak... > > Also, the reddish/purple accents on his hair, scythe, etc just clash so horribly. If anything this is more like DJ Sona VFX than Pulsefire. So change those as well.. maybe lighter blue or green? That would probably make him look too similar to SSW/Championship, which brings me to my next point. > > Thresh has a lot of blue and white in his skins. Can't we think of a better color scheme? I know it has to match the rest of Pulsefire but I think the PROJECT skin does different accenting VFX well. Hi Rao! Thank you for the feedback. Itm's great to hear the positive and the negative. There's not much that can be done on the design at this point, but I will pass your thoughts along to the team. Have an amazing day!
Hi~ Truly unfortunate that there's nothing that can be done at this point. Especially when we've seen changes in the past (KDA Ahri) to skins that were originally sub-par. (And sub-par is a gross overestimate for this skin). I'll try not to kill the messenger here, but it is extremely disappointing to virtually everyone in this thread that we came to provide feedback and nothing is being done about it. Personally, I know the skin team is capable of amazing work and I'm surprised that they're proud of this skin enough to warrant no further changes. There's got to be enough time left to change even just the head, as that seems like the main problem here.
: It's hilarious that nothing can be done within the same day as the skins' reveal nowadays. All of you are wasting our time with these feedback threads if you do nothing with it since you keep making terrible design choices and lack an ounce of consideration to champion mains, champions' thematic fit, aesthetically pleasing design, etc. If our feedback won't ever be heard and implemented even if provided on THE SAME DAY AS THE SKINS' REVEALS and your job is to go around the boards which are therefore useless then your position is pretty pointless as well. Perhaps your salary would be better used to hire better artists that did not buy their diploma from clown college after failing Color Theory 110. Pass that feedback along. {{sticker:vlad-salute}}
Well put. Absolutely astonishing that they even bothered making this "feedback thread" if they aren't taking any feedback. What a joke.
: This is honestly not a 1350 skin. His visual effects on the abilities now those look good. But the skin itself is terrible. Head tentacles look way too choppy, his hands look awkward, not like he's trying to hover his chain and actually hold his lantern instead of the reverse which is normal. Honestly this is like the sewn blitzcrank/amumu, this needs to be drastically redone if you want me to consider buying it.
I agree. The VFX are amazing but the rest of the skin is severely underwhelming. Seems like the general consensus (based off of replies to the Surrender @ 20 post and comments on the SkinSpotlights video) is this skin model is lacking.
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Pulsefire Thresh
My thoughts as a Thresh main; The spell VFX and sounds are very well done. However, that's about it. The model is underwhelming, just a black cloak with some tacky sci-fi shoulder pads. The head is even worse though.
: [CLOSED] PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Victorious Graves!
Jumping on to agree with the opinions of literally everyone else in this thread.. Put the purple one for Twisted Tree line Put the blue one as the base Make the blue one more cohesive with the rest of the line.
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Cosmic Dawn Rakan!
Honestly disappointed that the other 3 cosmic skins have purple/white/gold scheme and this one looks more like Ashen Lord or something...
: I got stuck as well and **I got an AFK Buster!!!** if you can remove my afk buster plz
Same here. I got the message that said "blah blah blah haven't moved for 5 minutes" and in the end game i had to type the "I Agree" thing
: [MEGATHREAD] Can't Teleport, stuck in fountain
So this happened to me, but it was a little different than I expected. I was on attacking team, and we had a Sivir who was disconnected in the mid-lane teleport platform. So here's the weird part. I could spam my out of range blue trinket on the Sivir and it made her move around. I tested it for the entire 15 minutes that I was bugged for, and she only moved if I pressed the trinket on her. She was up against the far back wall and everytime I pressed it, she walked to the top corner of the platform and then back to where she was and if I spammed it really fast on her, it made her spaz out in place (like what happens when you got minion blocked in season 4). [Here's a short ass video I recorded on snapchat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW11Xc_3zUY)
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: PROJECT: Lucian!
I see no reason why Lucian, Yi, and Yasuo are all orange, while Fiora is pink, Leona is yellow, and Zed is red. Either make them all the same color or all different colors! :( On top of that, out of all the new PROJECT skins to choose orange, why is Lucian orange? This skin could be amazing but instead it looks like headhunter with a helmet and a white arm.
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: PROJECT: Leona!
I agree with pretty much everything that everyone else is saying. This skin is disappointing. The armour is bland and just a blob of grey, while her sword and shield are bright and pop out at you. The VFX are pretty lack luster when compared to the other PROJECT skins, and even her base skin has brighter/more noticeable VFX. Where is the clarity that you guys are always boasting? Playing this skin makes me feel made out of glass, instead of a bulky, tanky, futuristic, sunlight warrior.
: BUG Shyvana 1200 True Damage Ult
This just happened to me while I was checking out the SSW Thresh skin. The enemy Shyvana did 4k true damage to our whole team for a quad
Rioter Comments
: Ryze Update Feedback
I agree with what you say about his E. It just kinda makes a spark sound and that's it. It is also near impossible to land the E on more than like, two people, the range seems REALLY small...
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Risen Fiddlesticks!
I really loved all of the Guardian of the Sands skins we just got, I already own the Kha'Zix one and plan on getting the Xerath one as well. Looking at the scheme of this skin makes me wonder why Fiddle was rejected as a Guardian! On a different note, the recall animation is super creepy and Fiddle-ish. It's awesome!
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Forsaken Jayce!
The particles of this skin are OUTSTANDING. But I'm not so sure why the hammer looks like one of those strawberry icecream bars. He's got too much red there and it sort of brings the attention on that instead of his sick new armour. Also, what does this mean for Forsaken Olaf? Will he get red glowing axes so he can fit the theme or is Forsaken Jayce just a placeholder name? I love it when skins that share a theme are released, and being able to match my team mates/friends is a huge deciding factor when deciding whether or not to purchase a new skin! http://i.imgur.com/Bx07Vk5.png?1
: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Blood Moon Zilean
This skin looks nice but the Blood Moon theme really doesn't fit Zilean at all and it seems he would look really out of place trying to fit in with the other skins. None of them have that bright gold on their skins (it seems more like a dull bronze ish to me) and then Zilean has this huge clock made of gold.. Don't get me wrong, I really like the effects of the clock but I just don't think Zilean is a "Blood Moon" champion. It would be much better to just take off the mask and rename the skin something else, to be 100% honest.
: Vel'Koz glitch
Just had this happen to my friend in a game we just got out of. I didn't see exactly what happened to cause it but I'm pretty sure that it was his first death. [Picture](http://i.imgur.com/hFnNK6u.png?1)
: [Swain] Textures
Noticed this bug on a Swain Bot while testing Bard, so I jumped in a custom to see if it affected the other skins that got texture rebalances, and it was present on his Northern Front and Bilgewater skins as well as the classic one. Upvoted. Northern Front http://i.imgur.com/VgUEWEK.png http://i.imgur.com/1YsjCPN.png Bilgewater http://i.imgur.com/kbd0Xxv.png http://i.imgur.com/uiFCEDm.png Classic http://i.imgur.com/GNYmGAN.png http://i.imgur.com/hJIPnMH.png
: End game screen only displays the words Defeat with no boarders or design around it.
It happened to me in a custom by myself, in a blind pick, and in co-op vs. AI. The victory screen seems fine
: Veigar changes hitting the PBE Soon
I used to main Veigar before removal of DFG, and I just tried these changes out in a game vs. AI, I found it INCREDIBLY hard to land the new stun. Like at all. Even with the bots walking in a straight line, as long as they had boots they could escape. Definitely a nerf. The new Q is fun to use, but it put me into very awkward positioning trying to hit 2 minions for 1. Also, now that it is a skillshot, standing behind a minion wave fully negates it. Nerf. > While 0.2 is a sizeable hit to his Ult's ratio, I want to stress that Veigar is getting quite a bit more AP from his Q in this version than on live and reassure any worried Veigar players out there that we're still seeing those beefy 2K+ Primordial Bursts in the late game with this version. It took a 60 minute game of landing double Q's, buying the highest AP items (my build was a standard build, nothing fancy like 6 rabadon's) and the new mage elixir to get anywhere close to a 2k ult. Taking the 20% extra damage off of his kit with DFG removal hurt his burst enough, but another .2 from his ult? Neeerrrf. With the W being near impossible to land on an enemy who wasn't CC'd from a different source, Veigar can no longer do what he was built to do. But oh thank the lord his mana costs were reduced, because it's not like his passive gives him a bunch of mana regen anyway. All I can say is, why? Removal of DFG was supposed to be compensated on champions, look at Ahri. She's even stronger than before! Veigar, who fit so well with the playstyle of DFG that it was basically a 5th ability to us, has no escapes, unreliable CC, and very low mobility in a meta of INSANE mobility, has gone down the drain. Hopefully he at least makes friends with Galio and Zac while he's there.
