: Client Bug - Client stays open for a few minutes at most then suddenly closes. No bug splat.
This problem exists in champ select. It happened 2 times over here. Once during the enemy champ choice and the second after everyone locked in. Thankfully on the second it put me back to the prepare for battle screen and loaded properly but post match it closed out as well. I'm fairly certain there's something with a specific thing the client is trying to load but fails to.

It can in fact crit and has always been able to. It crits at the same value as your autos, but with some extra magic damage on it. Well, explained - at least reproduced reliably. I'm actually referring to a very similar one, but we're talking a HUGE difference in numbers. That footage shows about 3-4 times the damage it should deal. I'm talking about at least 15-20 times the damage. I already know how to on occasion deal more damage with Q (and with IE it's better than ever before since that with rageblade and 100% crit causes a lot more true damage than should be dealt)

It was a very quick video since it was easy to reproduce. I had applied for QA testing as I am actually good at that but got declined (i can guess for a number of reasons) but I still feel obligated to report some nasty bugs that affect things a large amount.

: Game client security changes now live on PBE
Here's what I say (I dump stuff for the wiki, consider this a non-player perspective) 1) These security changes are weak as hell compared to what you could be doing, though I am inclined to say you did what you set out to do I suppose. Good job I guess? 2) As many mentioned the modding aspect is dead in the water as a result, but I am by no means saying it's dead for good since it's still quite easy to do stuff if you put the time in. Those who make the tools know what they should do to make them work and will likely do what is required. 3) In terms of compatibility you should allow a Linux binary for those who just dont operate on Windows or OSX. We all know you have already done the hard work that made it an issue before (which was making it run natively on OSX, which before was using a variant of Wine but is now semi-native) so there isn't reason to not have this by now. 4) The Wads, albeit much better than the old method of things being laid out (no really, looking at the betas til now has given me cold sweats) is only doing a disservice to the players due to how difficult things are to change them (the signed side of it all). While it's not impossible to mess with them, it's certainly something that didn't need to be done. 5) The Wads are annoying to put up with for wiki work because of how the hell things get deployed. For example the bird bag and bird capsules were deployed in the main default-assets wad (the only big file in the game other than sona's wad) instead of being deployed in the Loot wad. In addition we cant get filenames due to the way they're called unless you put some serious work into them, and even then it's not guaranteed once you update the format (again). On top of this because we cant get filenames and you deploy a ton of old/duplicate assets it's a pain in the ass to sort through all of it to add it to the wiki. When chromas deploy they're all mixed up and out of order (everything is but eh) 6) This is more for me than anything. If you guys could deploy files in order of type of asset like it used to be (and It did used to be this way) I would write off the wads from any complaints because that's the real issue I have with them. I'd rather spend like 2 minutes downloading the patch, dumping, and knowing exactly where the assets I'm looking for will be rather than spend upwards of 20+ minutes looking for 1 asset because of how it's laid out.

Just so you're aware, Taric's hair is just a big mass with bones to make them do things. It's not very complex work like you think it is Irelia's hair is in fact using the same level of complexity (less in fact if going by bones) than taric for their hair As you can see here, it's literally just a lump with bangs being a separate part. The hair has the same "blanket" characteristic you see where. https://i.imgur.com/iMXAwqH.png Kayn's hair (which is a pain to look at here, my apologies) has the same "blanket" deal you're on about but the difference being near the end there is transparency to add the illusion of complexity (no discredit to riot, it's a common practice). https://i.imgur.com/ZYjB1gC.png I think the main issue is the way the hair shape itself is working on most of these skins (Frostbutt and Infiltrator gets a pass here due to lack of pony tail and being pretty okay) There's 2 parts to Irelia's hair: the hair and then theres a ponytail on top of it. This is most clearly seen when inspecting aviator as it (for the time being) clips through the main set of hair in her normal walking animations. A side view also shows this to be the case https://i.imgur.com/YfGmDy5.jpg Instead of just being mad, try seeing where the issue is instead. I see the issue in the shape of it all (and the mild clipping) but only on skins where it draws your eyes to (again namely Aviator) seem to be the issue. This is also present with other champs as just shown above as well. I'm not a dev but I am aware of some things riot does that normally people dont think about I think the focus should be on the butt nerfs but thats me.

: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Ally Skin Previews in Champion Select
I think it's a bit too in the player's face on the left hand side with the mugshot. The right side is fine however. I also feel putting a play% or usage% on that skin would be interesting to show which one you use most if you have many.
