: Hi, Beardilocks here to answer your question about uncorrupted variants of these skins. First let me start off by saying I love how passionate about Xayah and Rakan Star Guardians everyone has been! I can see that you guys love both their light and dark forms, and we have definitely heard your feedback that this is a feature that you would like. However, I'm afraid that it isn't quite as simple as it initially seems, as there are quite a few things to consider. Please bear with me and read the whole context of why we won't be able to provide these. When we set about designing the Star Guardians for this year, we knew we wanted to evolve the thematic and expand the storyline. Until now, there had not been any definite antagonist for the Star Guardians to fight against - just some slightly generic monsters invading the city. We chose to do this by establishing Zoe as a villain in the universe, and having Xayah and Rakan as fallen Guardians, whom she had corrupted with her evil. When we go about creating a new skin for a character we create 3 "Pillars": Core concepts about the identity of the skin that are like guiding principals that we always try to work in to every aspect of their character. For Star Guardian Xayah, these pillars were: - Corrupted former star guardian with **internal struggle** - Dark star guardian beauty/ beauty with an edge - Fierce warrior spirit As such, when we were making creative decisions about the design, animations, sound, visual effects and voice recording, we tried to make sure that we were representing at least one of these pillars. You can see that I have highlighted the **internal struggle** part of her first pillar, as this is the most important defining feature of this skin. In pretty much every ability, animation and recall, we were trying to play up the struggle between dark and light, between good and bad. You can see this in her spells - her W is her reveling in her dark power, using it to damage enemies. Her R is supposed to be the most exciting moment, and highlight of her gameplay, and so is the point where we create the most contrast, expelling out the darkness and returning her to her original light form. All her voice acting also reinforces this - her voice lines are a contrast to her normal ones, where she is a badass anime villain, especially taunting the _loser _Star Guardians of her former team. We also wanted to play up the dynamic between Xayah and Rakan in this struggle between good and evil. In both their solo and duo recalls we see Rakan trying to save Xayah from the darkness by taking it into himself, trying to sacrifice himself to save her, becoming even more dark and corrupted in the process. This all ties into the story of Star Guardian this year (more story details to come soon!), though I don't want to spoil anything more in that area. **If we were to simply put a light version chroma out of this skin it would remove the central pillar of this skin, the internal struggle between light and dark, and the thing that makes this skin a legendary.** It would mean that a lot of their spells would not make any sense. A light Star Guardian Xayah would turn dark when she uses W (which would be a big contrast), but she would not change at all when she did her Ult (which would feel less impactful than her W at that point). Rakan would fire darkness out of him when he did his W (which wouldn't make sense), and when he ulted he'd turn super dark and grow big evil wings. Their recalls would not make any sense either, as the whole aspect of corrupting darkness would be out of place, and there would be no emotional impact to Rakan trying to take the darkness from Xayah. Further more, none of the VO of them being evil would make sense either. Some players have suggested that they would be fine with stuff not making sense and I understand that, but I don't think everyone would feel that way. I welcome anyone who thinks _all_ players would let a "small" detail like most of their spells not making sense to go to read some of the responses of other players on the boards and twitter about minor details they don't like :( If we did commit to fixing all of these things so that they made sense for a light variant, we'd need to do entirely new visual and sound effects, new animations, new voiceover and new recalls. At that point, we would basically have to charge the price of a whole new skin, or to add these as a toggle they'd basically need to become ultimates, because it would take the same amount of development time as a whole new skin would. Deciding to do this would be something we would have to do at the start of development, not after they are revealed on PBE. Additionally, they would be alternate skins that don't really fit into the story that we're trying to tell this year, which might even potentially confuse players. I know you're super passionate about this, and it's something I think would have been awesome to see too, but if it was something we chose to do, I would definitely want to do it properly to do it justice. Instead we chose to focus on delivering dark, corrupted Star Guardians, which I think we did successfully, but I'm sorry if you're disappointed.
What an incredibly stupid decision! You guys act like you're so consistent and care about the lore while you haven't been consistent at all and are bending the rules completely for other things. Yes! I'll check the shadow change out when the PBE is back online. And yes, the Q looks weird when the daggers spin and the target gets hit by the hilt. I get why they spin, because they have to keep the circular shape of Zed's base skin and other skins, but in this case it looks a bit amateurish. Would love if there was another way to accomplish the same shape language :) Love the skin, though! Just giving my 50 cents since we're so early in the PBE cycle <3

: Evelynn Update - Questions, concerns and overall comments!
I love the rework, but I have a few comments to make on the skins. Shadow Eve looks fantastic, but the rest of her skins feel a bit meh. I don't see a reason to pick the other skins, because the vfx simply looks garbo. Would prefer if the rest of Eve's skins had recoloring on the visual effects like Warwick had. More metal-y for Safecracker Eve, more red for Tango eve. Masquerade looks pretty good as is, since her lasher is also pink there. Like in Shadow Eve, it would also be nice to have different icons for the charm that match the skins more?

I like the theme of the skin, but it needs polishing. Here's my feedback: The sleeves and skirt look like they have clipping-issues. The textures look so stretched too. Her hair doesn't fit Fiora as a champion / her silhouette The colors look a bit bland compared to Janna and Yi. Too many cool tones? Her rapier should be longer. It looks too short. I also don't like that the sounds of her passive and AA are the same as her base skin. Would make the skin feel a lot better to use if the sounds were different. And lastly, the illustration on the ground from her ult when the heal procs looks good, except for the hexagon border in the middle. It looks so much less organic and clashes with the rest of the designs.

HEY! I found a bug where Syndra's balls that float around her are changed to the default ones when you play Invasion. After you get warped, I believe, it changes her orbs to the default ones and they stay that way for the rest of the gamemode. Goodjob on the skin btw! I absolutely love everything about it. Points of feedback: - Would love to see a bit more facial expressions on the Multi! <3 - When she maxes out her ult, the Multi around her get a pink-ish outline to symbolize her power, but I would love to see more of the particles that are in her abilities (the little twinkles and stars) to float around Syndra when she maxes her ult as well. Because the pink Multi don't match with the rest of her model. I think they would match her more if Syndra herself got some of the pink particles following her when she maxes out her ult.

I think he should always have that (maybe have it be toned down a bit until he uses his E).

Not a bug, but my feedback (didn't know where else to put it): I like the addition of showing splash arts in game! The champion portrait in the HUD has more use this way. Some feedback: - Would be nice if Prestigious LeBlanc's portrait could be zoomed out a tad bit. Looks a bit awkward and I'd love to see her chin more. - Star guardian Lulu's portrait would look better if it was centered more. - The brightness filter looks too heavy on Snow Day Syndra - Blood Moon Diana also looks too zoomed in. I see you didn't touch her upper arm cuff\* and her tattoo. Is there a specific reason? It could be interesting to see variation on those too, maybe one chroma has an hibiscus tattooed on the leg, or a dolphin; or one chroma could no cuff. You *did* change Graves' necklace, and I guess the effort would be similar. Not saying you should do it, I'm just wondering why for some details you chose to change the design, and for others not. Is the cuff or the tattoo particulary important for the skin? Is it something that identifies the champion? \* not sure it's called like that in english, i'm blindly trusting google here ^^'
Yeah I noticed the bracelets on her shoulder as well, they're pretty apparent in game and it would be nice to see them in different colors. Would indeed also be nice to see different tattoo's of seacreatures!

Here's my feedback: - Would be nice to see some more variety in the color of Lulu's hair and bathsuit throughout the chromas. - Fiora's chromas look nice, but she has the same gold bracelet in all of the skins on her shoulder which is apparent in-game. : If you have trouble with walls, there's guides as to how you can wall hop easier. You can E towards the wall, or even ward before you hop there. The ward makes Riven face the wall, so you can hop over it. Remember, not all walls can be hopped. Try hopping the divider walls by the river in midlane.
I know how to hop walls with Riven and am very good at it, but it's not always reliable when trying to jump thicker walls. Sometimes you see people like Adrian and BoxBox fail a critical walljump on their stream, because it's unreliable to try and jump over a thicker wall in high-action moments.

Regarding Poro Rider Sejuani; This skin needs some attention. The passive is very hard to see, because the Poro's fur is almost the same colour. Perhaps the poro's eyes could glow blue or you guys could add some snowy/glittery particles. My 2nd problem with this skin is the frost indicator around enemies. You guys changed it up for Bear Cavalry Sejuani but left this skin untouched and it feels like a 750RP skin right now. :l I think you guys could add some value back into the skin by adding glittery/snowy particles to her W and basic attacks, and changing the indicator for her ult and E to something with poro-snax. :) Edit: could you guys please change the icon for her E around enemy's to atleast be the weapon of the skin Sejuani's using?

: Conqueror Karma Hits PBE
Hey, I think the splash tweaks are a step in the right direction~ Though I also feel a few more changes should be made to make it truly look like Karma. Namely: 1. Her eyes and hair look good now, it's the bottom half that looks out of place. Her lips and chin don't look like they belong to Karma if you compare it to her other splashes. I also think her cheekbone should be more defined like in the Sakura Karma splash art. 2. The lines under her eyes that were added seem out of place, the in-game model doesn't have those. Those lines don't define Karma, they define LeBlanc for example. 3. Her nose should be less pointy and look more exotic like the rest of her splashes. 4. Her chest should be brought up, because the splash right now looks disproportionate. It looks like her neck is huuuuugeeeee. 4. Lastly, her waist should be thickened up a bit. Karma is known for her fuller, healthier body-type and I think this change would also contribute to the splash looking more like Karma. Hopefully you guys can make these changes before the skin is released, because the in-game model is dope! Hey do you guys think there should be a Maw-type item for mages? I feel like AP fighters like diana could use an item that gives them durability, but not as much up-front burst like an abyssal gives. Maybe make it like a nashor's tooth with attackspeed and instead of the on-hit passive it would give a magic-damage shield? Also, do you guys think there should be a qss variant for mages since a lot of immobile mages like Lux can't really be used effectively in high elo since they can get caught easily. Would it be beneficial (and bring them back into the meta) if they have access to a QSS item for mages?

The colors are perfect, please don't change them! The deep red/dark pink and gold looks like a Victorious skin for MSI and LCS and makes the skin look very royal and powerful. One point of feedback: The particle that swirls around Karma for when she reduces her ult-cooldown with autoattacks is still green from her classic skin.

Hey I just noticed how Cosmic Dawn Rakan's ultimate model was changed to be not black anymore (was probably a bug or something). But I REALLY liked the dark model in contrast to the light from the particles and his cape! It looked like a sun in contrast to a black hole or something and made the skin look very cool. Right now, I don't think the skin looks very cool though. The blue vs yellow contrast is a bit meh and I wouldn't see myself use this skin over Rakan's original model because of it :l
: Conqueror Karma Hits PBE
I absolutely love this skin! The colors are perfect and a really nice step forward from the Challenger skins. I find this color palette absolutely beautiful and it really feels "Victorious" in a sense that it's a victorious skin for a champion that's played a lot in the pro scene whereas the Victorious skins reflect Solo Queue champions and your individual rank. Good job Riot! Please don't change the colors of this skin, they're perfect :)
: Magic Shield Feedback Thread
Hi there, speaking for my colorblind friend who doesn't have a PBE account. He generally finds the live shield incredibly hard to distinguish from a regular shield. The old magenta was good, because it had a difference in contrast from a regular shield which he could distinguish them by. For myself speaking, I feel like the regular magenta was perfect. Maybe the same color magenta could be darkened/saturated a tad bit for non color-blind so it's easier distinguishable from grey health, The new blue looks too out of place to be a magic-shield imo.

I feel like this skins doesn't fit League of Legends as it is. After the texture update, it didn't really improve and the model is really the problem here. It doesn't LOOK like Kog'Maw. It would be a lot more fitting if it was just Kog'Maw wearing a pug-onesie, because right now it doesn't read as Kog'Maw at all. The skin also doesn't really have a connection to League of Legends in my opinion, it's just a real life pug. When I first saw the skin I thought it looked like a fan-made skin, because it just doesn't fit the game. It should read as Kog'Maw first, then as a Runeterran version of a pug, not the other way around.

Hey, just saw the new spell fx for enchanted and hextech galio and they look awesome! I however also noticed that the particles on the enemy (when they get hit by Q or E) are still the same as classic Galio. Enchanted galio should also have blue AA particles like Hextech in my opinion. Edit: also, there are some particles when hextech/enchanted galio jumps up in the air with his ult that are the same as classic galio. (the circle he leaves when he takes off to the ult destination for example)

Hi there, the rework looks nice but there are few things that don't feel right. Here's my feedback: - Some of Galio's voicelines sound really generic. It's like all he does is squash people, which doesn't reflect who Galio used to be or what we want him to be. His champion select quote sounds super lame. "A guardian is always prepared" portrayed an emotion that the new champion select quote doesn't get close to at all. - The buttons in Debonair Galio's splash aren't the same as the buttons he has in game (forgot to paint over them I guess). The paintover also lost a lot of the emotion that the original Debonair Galio splash used to have. - And lastly, I feel like Classic Galio needs a chroma that does homage to who he used to be. With the classic turquoise and gold. It would calm a lot of people down and remind them of who Galio used to be :) (I also think this applies to Yorick as well, he needs a chroma with a brownish hood to do homage to his former self) EDIT: ALSO, it would be cool if you guys changed the Demacia icon on the ground from his ult for his ult into other icons for Galio's other skins. Hextech could be Piltover, or a cog, Enchanted could be a rune, Debonair a rose and Commando an explosion? Since it's a 2D silhouette it shouldn't take much time and it would add great value to those skins :)

Is there anything you feel works better than it? I know you've condemned the other options, let's try to consider the alternatives. (I'll be implementing it as Joke instead of Idle3 for now, but I'm still able to change it further.)
I just tested the recall on the PBE, and I love the joke animation! It's the perfect length, and it portrays her personality beautifully. :) Thanks for being so considerative.

AYY, I like that you respond to most comments. Keep it up! :) My feedback on LeBlanc's other animations: * Her idle animations don't really offer much to her character, she only has two animations which are both meh. * Someone suggested adding her laugh, but in my opinion it doesn't really fit since the laugh isn't heard and even if it was, her laugh is used when her clone dies (it would just be too much laughing lol) * I feel like out of all the animations LeBlanc has (which aren't a lot) her dance is the closest to her personality, but her **joke **is close enough to capture her personality. It has the same principle as the dance in which she radiates invincibility (Try and catch me, I'm not afraid :*) The animation of her flying on her staff is also pretty long so it might work perfectly fine for her recall. Excuse me if I was a bit defensive on the matter. I felt like I needed to be crystal clear in expressing how and why I wanted idle3 to be changed to something that captures LeBlanc's persona to have my feedback be taken seriously. : I don't look at that animation and see vanity. Mirrors have a lot of wide applications (looking over her shoulder, perhaps? looking into a magic mirror to spy on her enemies?), so I don't think she's acting purely in that sense.
Me and other LeBlanc mains disagree with that. The fact that she's just looking in the mirror and fixing up her hair adds nothing positive to her character, which is what this update was all about? Coming from people who actually are fanatic about LeBlanc, idle3 doesn't contribute to LeBlanc as a character. She might aswell just not have a recall animation lol. I also feel like the recall ring rule is a bit meh. PLENTY of skins break the boundary of this ring and I feel like some of the suggestions given on this boards would add positivity to characters if they don't break the ring TOO much. (Cassio's taunt, Fizz taunt etc.) EVERYONE that plays this game knows that you have to aim for the recall circle if you want to cancel a back animation. I see why you wanted to change champions without recall to have something atleast, but you guys got yourself into this. You guys might aswell do it right and listen to the community or just don't do it at all, because there is no reason to add something if it doesn't satisfy anyone. (similar to the cancelled blitzcrank and amumu skins) There is no way that you main/pumped countless hours every single character on this list so IMO it's your best bet to just listen to the community when it comes to "personal" matters like these. LeBlanc's dance would perfectly fit all of her skins without recall animations and add more personality than idle3, idle2 or her joke animation ever will. : Adding Simple Recalls- Now on PBE!
While I like the idea of recalls adding more personality to characters, I feel like LeBlanc's recall doesn't add much to her persona. She is not some beauty-obsessed freak that checks if her makeup/hair is still in place. She is a powerful deceiver that uses MAGIC to look the way she looks. In my opinion she is an assassin/mage that's ALWAYS in control: * in her lore, being the leader of The Black Rose and basically Noxus * in game where she has complete early lane dominance. Things go the way SHE wants them to go and her personality screams: I'm invulnerable, powerful and she teases you with it through her slipperyness (crazy mobility), her deceptiveness and for example, her laugh when her clone dies. Because of this, I feel like her DANCE should be her recall. It just fits her persona and the teasing she does through the rest of her gameplay and lore WAY better than being some make-up obsessed lowlife checking if her hair is still in place during the recall. Through all these years I found her her dance so iconic to the character and it's a shame that you guys are not using it for the recall. Please consider it. Much love, a LeBlanc fanatic.

: Finally THE skin for my Diana :D first ty Riot for making it possible :D Now, let's talk about this deeper: . #UP - Splashart 10/10, my favourite one for sure - I love those hair in the model :D she looks like a lioness <3 the color is just perfect (PLS, don't change it) - Like a lot those claws (again, PLEASE, don't change the color), i appreciate i can find them both in the splashart and in the model - Those "tattoos" are really gorgeous (guess what, no color change plzerino :V) - The armor model is perfect, as said below i hope you will not cover her more, can't really find anything inappropriate in this model (and I'm not talking like this because "mlmlml, diana legs") - The visual effects OMG, i thought i touched the sky with that gorgeous splash art, but after i tried her in custom i was touching the heaven; you just got my favourite colors there all together in a perfect mix. Can't really decide if i prefer more the Q ones or the R (and i like the idea of a "big mask" during the transition) or maybe the E is better? Can't decide atm x). Also nice "blood" particles :D . #DOWN - "Red" parts are a little bit too vivid, maybe making them a little bit darker will do the trick (?) not sure on this part after trying her ingame tbh, it should be just "a little of a little". - Mask: is not that i don't like it, but i think i prefer to see her face with the symbol of Lunari like in the splash art. As suggested by spiderbones, maybe a on/off toggle will be a good compromise. - That dark grey part of the armor on her shoulder doesn't convince me: in the splashart that piece is the same color of her hair. It looks a bit out of the place atm. After trying her ingame it was a bit better (also bc it matches the shoes), maybe try to make it a little bit smaller or change the color or both(?) - **EDIT: SFX:** Q sound is pretty good, I love that "blood" sound when it touches things. It's a good mix of a metallic sound "faded into blood". AA, W, E, R instead are too much "metallic" maybe let them "fade" like the Q' sound - with that "blood" one? ---- From a Diana otp I thank you from the bottom of my heart, I waited for this moment for 2 years :D
Yeah I would love to see a toggle on her mask, since her face with the lunari tattoo is HER THING. It would be nice to switch between the two. Her face and skintone ingame should look more like the splash tho.

Hi there! I love, love this skin. My feedback: - Make her model and her face look more like the splash, the splash is AMAZING. - Her skintone shouldn't be a beachy tan, but more like a native-american, greyed-out tan like in the splash art!!!!!! - The fluff thing on her shoulder should be grey-ish white like in the splash and LESS huge - PLEASE MAKE THE MASK A TOGGLE, holy **** that face needs to be seen!!!! I know you guys don't like toggles, but WE DO and it would be lovely to switch between mask and no-mask. - And lastly, make the mask more detailed with cheekbones and such. Thanks for this skin, but please make it amazing before release.

Hey, I'm digging everything but his in-game icon looks very unclear to me. I feel like it's too green and that it's **too **zoomed in on the lower part of his face. The icon of Warwick's current splash on live on the other hand is really clear so maybe you could change the tone of the icon to something like that?

Hi there, long time Warwick lover here~. The Warwick rework looks amazing and I'm loving it! Some feedback though: - Firefang Warwick's fieryness seems to have gotten lost, maybe add some more fiery particles when he pops W? - Warwick's old joke used to be "All the better to eat you with, my dear" which went PERFECTLY with Big Bad Warwick. Would be cool to see the line return and be available to the Big Bad Warwick skin. :'( - The redness around the screen is a bit too distracting. Edit: Would be cool to see the particle effect from his Q bite and autoattacks be a different color for the other Warwick skins, **the green looks out of place.** Fiery Orange for Firefang, Icy Blue for Tundra and Marauder. Match the color of the bite with the color of the particle on his back pls~ :)

Hey there! The LeBlanc chromas look absolutely beautiful, my favourite one is Amethyst, closely followed by Catseye (it gives me serious joker vibes). The only feedback I have is that I find the **red **accent color on Tanzanite too plain in game. It looks a bit like the original skin and clashes with blue tones! Maybe it could be changed to more of a violet since tanzanites often give off a purple tone. :)
