: Taliyah feedback thread
Ok Ima try to follow the guidelines of the post by telling my feelings on her kit but IMO all her issues seem to be so closely related it may feel like im just venting my personal frustration. My biggest issue with her is that even if it seems comboing is not the biggest focus behind her kit, since the reward is not worth the effort because her combo is to punishing to pull off/reward you for it (W into E, well its actually E into W) I feel the big part that plays into this feeling are 1. the combo feels counter-initiative since you have to use the E before the W giving the opponent even more time to react since now they have the visual ques of two animations playing before they are punished since both spells have a decent casting time, and with the W already being hard to hit this feels like the combo opportunity is too skewed in the opponents favor in terms of comboabilty. (is this a word?) (also to clarify W cant start the combo since E will not cast until after the W as fully finished meaning no explosion damage for E, missing the combo) 2. Her Combo no matter how hard to pull off is not worth the risk/reward situation as the damage on it is so low that putting yourself within E range to try and pull this off is very risky, so without the damage payoff virtually (in theory) a "Good" Taliyah would actually avoid using the combo in favor of being safe and keeping the W to protect himself. also to follow on that point about W 3. Her superposed one point wonder ability (the ability that gives a lot of benefit with just one point) is incredibly punishing on her to not max second as it it really hard to hit and she is absolutely defenseless until that already hard to hit ability with it 16 second cooldown comesback. (Making for ridiculous hard counters vs her as she cant defend herself at all for so long) 4. My last point Is very subjective and by no means does every champ have to have a part of their kit carry this feeling but for some reason nothing about her makes me feel like I'm excelling at her and when I kill an opponent I don't feel like I for lack of a better phrase outplayed them in anyway and instead if someone comes into range of me I just stat check them and if my Q and E are enough I kill them if not (like vs a lot of hyper mobiles) they kill me if feels so one sided (leaning in favor of one or the other completely) that even if it may not technically be a stat check it feels it. 5. Last point is up to the balancing team to tune and find a sweet spot but Ill say it anyways here just to reflect on her current state, her kit is about utility and disruption but her current kit these chances are few and far in between. Back to playing more PBE Taliyah games, looking forward to the next PBE iteration on her, hoped my feedback helps.

: This post needs more attention. This change combo with the post I made about her ult being really hard to proc would make her a lot easier to play and give her more of a slippery dualist feel. You know there was times I swear I should have proc'ed my ult but didn't it get it didn't even occur I was too close which just seems odd...... they should fix that to make it more consistent, coupled with ignoring collision and maybe they wont have to buff her raw stats to get her to a reliable dualist presence in the game but we will see.

Early in the game, that aggro is going to deal tons more damage to you than you heal and deal to the enemy laner. Later in lane, mid is just too short for me to get kills with her, since her burst is pretty awful now.

By poke I mean Short Trades proc passive with Q walk away mix up if im going for E or just running asap if they throw their maxed spell dodge or W to make sure you stay ahead in the trade each time 1.never all in 100-0 since you are CD based and passive reliant 2.never trade when W is down, it has a long CD but you dont need to use it for most trades anyways so its fine 3. after any trade beeline out of minion aggro don't let them get any extra AA castor's like to chase and stay on you so i back way off then walk back up to minimize that. 4. This is just my opinion but most Fi's build wrong, im not going to tell my build.....cause yeah.....but she does not need a lick of attack speed all im saying........

Lol dat Fi **But yeah mostly her W is completely insane most don't understand that she cant be harmed at all even by true damage during it so potentially 0.75 invulnerable stun is what your looking at so I have been taking her mid to poke enemys down from passive then all-in with any good reads with W's **(rip velkoz) **Her Ult** (Grand Challenge) **is the main reason i don't truly think her top is were it should be at mid you can more then survive without it since your prob not getting it on range champs anyways in a short lane but when you need to rely on it to dual and you cant cause of winions plus the other champs CC its just not efficient even with it decent scaling on passive. ** **So if they nerfed down her W and passive outplay and damage potential they can then easily give her the utility and other thing time will tell she needs to succeeded without fearing her being 2 good once other figure her out.** **But im only at champ mastery 4 with her so am not the end all know all to her power you may very well be right that she needs strait buffs from her current iteration but i dont have numbers or stats to go off only from how well i can do with her and what I see her potentially capable of.**
