Okay. I've seen the current changes to the horns and it looks MUCH better now. I can definitely live with it as it is now. They look more epic and more like horns. Instead of like tires or slicked back hair/tentacles. They'll prolly need more contrast on the bottom of them though. When he's facing away from cam, they blend into his back a little too much at their base. From game height, it'll look washed out. Need some shading down in there to pop them off of his back. But the structure of the horns matches the splash a whole lot better now.

I think the voice processing should go and so should the eye patch. It just doesn't fit. And I disagree with the justification of the eye patch. An eye patch doesn't denote veteran status or experience. It denotes losing an eye. Which can happen at any time. lol I think you guys can come up with a more clever way to indicate that she's experienced, than the low hanging fruit of an eye patch. Since she doesn't have new voice lines, in my opinion, the nature of Syndra's character and her voice lines does a good enough job of making her sound like an experienced star guardian. "Immense power is fun. You should try it sometime".

I like that you guys replaced the chains! Thanks for that! I'd go for colored tendrils though. To match his color scheme. The dark tendrils don't make as much visual sense. If you want to keep them dark so they don't stand out as much, go with the purple that's found on his legs. That gray color isn't working out.

Why on earth is CrabGot using chains during his ultimate instead of tentacles? It's really breaking the theme of the skin in my opinion. All the other spell effects match the theme of the skin. Also, I'm assuming his default recall isn't finished yet?

Pros: I do love that we're finally getting to see what's under all the gigantic hats he wears! I also love how expressive his eyes are. It's a crazy good idea and you guys are executing it very well. Cons: I feel like his equipment should be reversed. So his large hand is his gun hand and his small hand does the clicking of buttons. Just seems like a waste of his iconic large glove. He could have wielded a super impressive gun with it or something. Instead, he just uses it to push a button. Missed opportunity I think. A little miffed that his poor, floaty walk animation is still a thing though. Omega Squad Teemo got new animations despite the older skins anims being less than satisfactory. So I'm surprised Veigar isn't getting the same love. Also, his ultimate is marvelously underwhelming. Especially considering his niche in the squad is all about missles etc. I figured it would have featured a homing missile or something. But as it stands, it's not very impressive. Just looks like a regular ability. If the large hand was his gun hand, you could have had the gun transform to a missile launcher or something. It's just very bland, it doesn't read well right now.

I kinda feel like the new PulseFire Caitlin makes PulseFire Ez look that much more dated. Because it lacks the clean, futuristic, portal-esque style that the Caitlin skin, the new ward, Program Lissandra and Program Camille all have in common. Riot is establishing a futuristic style that's been applied to several of it's champions now. Ez, isnt up to par by a long shot. I recommend a complete palette overhaul and making it more like the previously mentioned skins. I know the current owners of the skin will be upset about the change but it would still be a step in the right direction. Ditch the silver and move into the white category. That's my take.

I'm not against the idea of gemstone exclusives. But I don't really feel like this skin is "special" enough for that kind of exclusivity. That's just my personal opinion. The current gemstone skins have a wow factor that this skin doesn't have. Also, there should be a better way to earn gemstones. At this rate, the only way to acquire enough to get the skins is to have a ton of disposable income. Maybe introduce some manner of drop table. So let's say, every third chest has an increased chance of dropping a gemstone. On an artistic note, the Orange of those shoulder turbines is so distracting. It really pulls the eye more than it should. You notice them first and his face second. In fact, I think there should be more color variation in general. There's way too much twinning of orange. When you look at a champion, your should be pulled to the center of them. The waist up. Those turbines are way too large to be that bright. Either the saturation needs to be reduced or a different color should be used. It's too heavy handed.

We're less concerned with it looking like a textbook pug and more concerned with it looking like Kog'Maw. You've hit the former directly on the head. Looks like a pug through and through. But where is Kog'Maw in this skin? Kog'Maw was released in what, 2010? So for the past 7 years, up until now, every single one of his skins has had at least 4 eyes and some sort of long head dressing. Be it horns, antennae, antlers, fins, a gun etc. So the issue is that the skins team were so stuck on "pug" that they disregarded these things that are a staple of Kog'Maw's skins. That's why he's not reading well. A better thing to have done would have been to find a way to make him look like a "dog" FIRST. Disregarding breed. Then considered texture work to indicate that he's a cute, yet weird, slobbering dog monster that resembles a pug. Instead, what we have currently, is just a pug on two legs. Which don't get me wrong, is adorable. But where do you draw the line with readability? That's why I think at the very least, the 4 eyes is a must. His splash art just looks like a dog. Not a Runeterra version of a dog. Just a generic pug. If it weren't for the fact that he has 2 toes on his forelegs, I never would have been able to figure out that it was even a skin for a champion at all. I would have just assumed it was background filler for the 3 skins running from him. This is a slippery slope for League's art direction. I know it's tempting to follow suit with some of the skin concepts these other mobas put out, but personally, I like that Riot has had an integrity all it's own and doesn't grab at low hanging fruit when it comes to your skin's maintaining the champions identity and general silhouette. The skin is slated for release now. So what's done seems to be done for now. But should he not have 4 eyes or any of his other defining features, any time soon, I would hope that when Kog gets the inevitable VU that he desperately needs, you'll consider this feedback.

Just saw the latest texture tweak and it looks phenomenal. While I still have a bone to pick with clarity of champion, which has been stated by tons of people here and on Reddit, the texture looks amazing now. Makes this skin look waaaaaay more cohesive with League's palette and style. 10/10 texture update. With this tweak I think a lot of flared tempers will simmer down and accept that there's just a pug in league that happens to have Kog'Maw's moveset now.

Now that there have been texture tweaks, I'm really sold that the skin NEEDS TO HAVE FOUR EYES. Its a part of Kog's identity just like having a huge mouth. He's been a catepillar, butterfly, fish, robot, fossil and more. All while having 4 eyes! With Jurassic Kog'Maw, he doesn't even have eyes at all but has 4 eye sockets nonetheless. If this skin comes out without the defining characteristics of the champion, it'll be a heavy blow to Riot's aesthetic and thematic integrity stance. I thought skins were supposed to be recognizable as champion first, theme second. "Oh that's Kog'Maw and he's a dog" NOT "Oh there's a dog, wait, is that supposed to be Kog'Maw?"

The texture tweak helps a lot, albeit a little flat. But I still don't see Kog'Maw in it. Dont all of his skins have 4 eyes? That's a core part of the character. It'd be like taking a limb off of Cho'Gath. No matter how much he looks like just a pug, 4 eyes is uniquely Kog'Maw and won't take away from the theme.

In some cases, reworks and updates have barred them from being eligible for a new skin, but once they're all new and shiny, we can get our hands on 'em and give them something that does them justice. Most recently, you've seen Zyra, who had been off the list for a bit of time, due to the mage update! Jhin and Talon also received some love a bit earlier this year, too! While we don't go in order of 'who got what last', we do keep it in mind when we talk about new thematics, or just upcoming skins in general. In my reply to Obi Juan PBE , you can also get a bit more insight as to why Alistar was selected for this thematic/batch of skins in general. :)

Okay, I'm a looooooong time Kog lover. I actually did a concept for Dog'Maw a long time ago. But this doesn't fit. It's too much idea stretched thin over his ancient model. It doesn't look good. The skins that have been produced over the last few years have looked good from all angles, whether the theme or concept was well received or not. This skin only looks decent from game height. That's bad. If sewn chaos was considered beneath the current standard of skins for Riot, I don't know how this made it through. This is a concept that should definitely be done. This skin is hilarious. I would prolly shy away from green though. Pool party is already pretty green. A different color choice or tone would be in order in my opinion. I love renekton! I'm not overly into joke skins because I feel like they take away from the production of more badass skins. But this one is pretty interesting. And Renekton has a plenty of other, "serious" skins. I'm still salty of pool party rek'sai though. I wanted a scary jaws-esque land shark sin. But jokey one the day. =/

Looks gorgeous!!! I'm a little concerned about the default coloring being so close to the "void" color scheme but since chromas are a thing now, that's a minor inconvenience. I know the obvious "fiery red dragon" tones would conflict with her wildfire skin. It's an absolute win.

I didn't know if her animations on BF were what made her legendary. I can't remember if that skin came out before the new "tier" system that listed what made the skin that particular tier. Hearing alone that you think she could use new animations for her base animations gives all the hope I need to make this skin an insta-buy. That was literally the only gripe I had. The higher quality her skins get, the more her old animations show their age. Assuring to know that it's "known" by Riot. But truthfully, Anivia has held up pretty well. She'd prolly just need new models for her old skins and some new animations. Nothing full tilt like a Sion or Warwick. But priorities, priorities.

I think they're just using old animations because they likely don't have the resources to work on Anivia's base animations at the moment. Her default animations for skins needs to be updated minus Blackfrost. They're based on a rig from 2009. It's 2017. The champions that have come out in the past few years have far superior rigs and thus, superior animations. I'm willing to bet, the rig used for the recall animation for festival queen is different from the base rig for it. You're confusing my comment of her having new animations, to be "Festival Queen" specific. Not so. Classic, Bird of Prey, Hextech, Team Spirit, Noxus Hunter, Prehistoric and now Festival Queen use old base animations. They just need to be updated a bit and uniform. Not skin specific animations. =) The Blackfrost thing was just a suggestion.

: Warwick Update Feedback Thread
Hyena WW looks too much like Twitch now. I think that's what bothers me about it. And for the record, Hyena Warwick was my favorite skin of his. Not so much anymore. The goggles aren't necessary and hyenas don't have long tails. I'd also like to have a better laugh on him. And the falling on the ground was the best part of the old skin but I know you can't have everything the way you want it. But it doesn't feel as unique of a skin as it used to be. Instead of growling like a wolf during his blood hunt, he should laugh and whoop like a hyena on the hunt does. More laughing, shortening that tail and maybe doing something with that hair dipping down into his face should go a long way in making this skin stand out from his others and being a closer match thematically to the old one. I'm very in love with this rework. Has clear strengths and appropriate weaknesses. The only critique I have would likely be of the Feral Warwick skin. Doesn't look "feral" at all. Feral is wild. Back to the beast. Bare minimum. Currently it works better as Asylum Warwick in theme in my opinion. And I think Hyena WW could lose the goggles. He's looking a little "Junkrat" or "Vandal" themed instead of just Hyena. Maybe a rename should happen if they stay. But that's really my only gripe. I feel like this is likely the most solid Champion Update that's ever been done.

Does anybody else find his ultimate really clunky and off thematically? I don't get how his bipedal mount curls into a ball for the ult. It really ruins the theme in my book. The bouncing also just doesn't make sense. I like the rest of the kit but the ult is weird.

As I'd mentioned in another thread (excuse the copy pasta) - For this particular skin, it was a concept we'd had tucked away for a couple years, before most of these fan concepts were created. We recently dusted off the concept and brought it to life. With that said, I think there was a precedence set/preconceived notions as to what a Deep Sea thematic Nami would look like, due to various fan concepts being created (which is cool, don't get me wrong). At the end of the day, this skin isn't one of those concepts brought to life, which may be upsetting to some players.

I LOVE the hands in the ultimate. Very creepy and makes the ult feel very powerful in impact visually. I'm in love with this skin and concept. I do think there needs to be greater contrast between his face and teeth though. It's such an eerie look that's getting washed out at game height. Lets see those chompers more clearly!

The zooming out is great! Looks great and FEELS great. My issue is the zoom back in. I would prefer it to snap back to Jhin. It wouldn't be very beneficial to snap to where you were shooting because once your ultimate is over, you lack any follow up anyway should you have missed or someone else be low. Unless of course you're ulting from point blank range. Which isn't optimal so the mechanic shouldn't be balanced around that. I also have a bone to pick with his walking animation. Very stiff, rigid and just doesn't look right. Especially when juxtaposed to how fluid the rest of his animations are. Being an animator myself, I LOVE all of his abilities etc but his walk animation breaks the "virtuoso" theme for me. He just looks like he's walking outside to check the mail or something. Not what I'd expect.

This isn't really a bug per se, at least I don't think. But can you enable it to where we can upgrade our skin shards to skin permanents even if we already own them? Just for the sake of testing. Because I and perhaps others that own all of the skins in the store on pbe, don't wanna misunderstand the way to properly unlock the content we want when it goes to live server.

We originally had the snowballs more white in color, but they didn't read great in game, especially on Howling Abyss, and quite frankly, we felt they looks a bit dull. (Bright whites in general usually don't read great in game. D:) Since Syndra is a mage, we wanted to add a more magical touch to them, which is why there's a bit of sparkle and blue added in. In addition, we felt it better fit in with the icy particles in the rest of her kit.

I don't know if this has been said yet, but if her orbs are supposed to be reading as "snowballs", they don't. They read as "ice balls". Either one is fine in my book. But the name of the skin and the description of it, suggest that they're balls of snow. In that event, they may need a texture pass or maybe more white diffuse instead of blue. But if it's ice, I think it's pretty good as is. Maybe add some slight transparency to them.
