Any particular reason Dark Harvest only procs on AA's? It's a bit clunky to make use of for Mages, some spellslinging assassins like Katarina and melee fighters like Mordekaiser. Would be cool if you could use proc it with a spell so it'll be smoother to use as the 20 second time frame is already somewhat stressful to really make good use of the harvest. Also, I heard that Press the Attack would be giving either AP or AD and be adaptive or was I mistaken? Anyways, great so far though there are several bugs with Mordekaiser, regarding phase rush, the most noticable being that his R clone only counts as one instance of damage even though it's basically an auto attack. So you're never able to proc Phase rush with W->E->R clone AA

Just chiming in for a quick question regarding a similar tank-oriented change. Courage of the Colossus: Does it have a CD Does it apply to soft CC like slows? Also, I really love the new defensive items, helps tanks adapt to the situation, really helpful!

: It's definitely one of the possibilities we've talked about - we can tune the range on the item down and the flaming burst part of it more if it comes down to it - making an effective themed shotgun style blast.
Glad to hear that, I personally think the shotgun feel of this item would be really cool on those balls to the walls kind of champions that want to unleash AoE hell on their enemies :D

If Rocket belt's active turns out to be problematic would you consider changing its active to focus more on the flaming inferno. The item provides some great stats that manaless AP champions like Vlad, Rumble and Mordekaiser would love to build (CDR, AP and HP). Not to mention it being somewhat saddening if the hex tech line would lose their fire themed item.

If Hextech Flamebelt's dash active won't make it a healthy addition to the game would you consider revamping the active? A lot of tanky AP options come with mana attached to them, making them not very attractive for AP Brawlers like Vlad, Rumble and Mordekaiser. I love the elemental theme the hex tech line's got going for them so why not make the flame revolver melt the enemy resistances in a nova blast to keep with the fire theme and shift the focus away from the dash if it just can't be supported. The stats on the item look very appealing for someone who enjoys playing Vlad and Mordekaiser.

It means that all Hextech items will put all other Hextech items on cooldown when used. This is partially so that I can actually put AP ratios on these items without worrying of some crazy 1.5 AP ratio item build - but also partially due to theming and clarity of choice. Pick the Hextech Item that you like the best or that you need the most. It's honestly what allows the actives themselves to be OP - it's a really important control lever.
It does make for some interesting strategic decisions though if you do decide to build two hextech items. In Morde's case the Belt and Gunblade, having to decide wether to use a long range slow or the dash to get into position. Anxious to test them out
: Yes! These are amazing for him! The one problem I've always found with Morde is that reaching a high amount of CDR was always very difficult. Normally, you would build Nashors and Spirit Visage, which isn't bad, but there are better items. These changes are gonna be amazing! CDR on Abyssal, Hourglass, and the Hextech Belt will get him to an average of 30% CDR each game.
I can't wait to experiment with these options. {{item:3116}} {{item:3053}} {{item:3065}} ({{item:3751}} {{item:3145}} ) {{item:3146}} would be the first combination I'd try and maybe even switch Gunblade and Steraks with Abyssal/Zhonyas. The combinations are limitless! Especially since Morde can benefit from almost any stat, giving him more options to chose from and making other items more desirable gives him a lot of flexibility in terms of build.

I hoped the Itemization pass would benefit Mordekaiser and I must say those are way better than what I expected! Especially the Hextech rocket belt, seeing that it gives an already immobile Juggernaut a Dash as well as another damage spell in his kit. Do the fire bolts apply spell effects though, especially Rylais, seeing that it's Morde's core item. And what does "sharing their CD with other Bolt items" mean? Does it mean I would only be able to use either Rocket belt or Gunblade if I decided to build both (and let's be honest, both seem to good to pass up on Morde)

: Well, it isn't really a shield, its a resource bar that acts like a shield xD
And it's a shield by definition. Hmm, it might possibly be due to it not being coded like an actual "shield buff" like Nautilus' Titan's wrath or Janna's shield. Strange.
