: The loading screen art feels really underwhelming because of the haze on Galio and Varus’ bow covering him up more. As for the skin, I think the model is really great actually. Nice details and the design is interesting. What most disappoints me about the skin is how lacking the vfx are, they feel a LOT like basic recolors. I have some ideas for improvements though: Passive - right now the passive proc looks like a red version of normal Galio, I think either the crack should be redrawn to be more unique or perhaps there should be a lava splash effect when Galio punches to make it more unique. Just cracking the ground doesn’t really tie it to Infernal very well. Q - The effect is again a little underwhelming but there are some nice features that aren’t clear enough. The little ashy sparks flying off should be made brighter (or darker) and more obvious, right now it’s too faint. As for the tornado itself I think the fire effect should be upped a bit. W - looks and feels like a recolor, especially as the colors are so homogenous, even the shield is just orange. Charging the W should leave a bit of a stronger effect in the middle its too subtle right now and releasing it should leave some scorch marks on the ground or something. The outer edge also has little sparks that are too faint to appreciate. The shield should have its edge darkened too. Too much orange and yellow and not enough of the darker red/magma color. E - this one is pretty fine I think. The only suggestion is that maybe the ‘comet’ effect around Galio should be a bit smaller or shorter and the flame and smoke effect be made larger and more obvious, or make it linger a bit longer as the animation is very quick and it’s hard to notice. R. Add some fire and smoke to the jump and the impact should look more scorched or burnt. It’s too much of a red crack. The new ult indicator looks really nice though. On the whole I think the fire effect is too toned down, and the colors could use more contrast to make them less homogenous. For sounds perhaps just upping the flames a bit more too. The crumbling ground from base galio is a bit too similar and the fire isnt that noticeable. The skin is a nice concept fitting Galio well though, nice work!

I think Galio is in a good spot now tbh im getting used to his play style and i see him being viable even at high elo imo. I think maybe lower his base damage reduction for w and r and put an ap ratio there would tune down full tank galio a little bit more and keep ap galio on the same spot overall if the ratios puts his damage reduction arround the same numbers. I also think r could just an Ap ratio buff to make ap galio landing ults more IMPACTFUL damage wise. I am 100% sure that when hes going to be on the live server if he ever turns out to be too strong and 100% pick ban whatever it would be full tank Galio.

The added ap ratio on passive feels great tbh he can actually build ap and duel people like a diana does and it feels great! only problem is that hes too squichy because of the lack of ratios but tbh its not the end of the world if he doesnt receive ap ratios on his w. I feel like his base movement speed is really low and i cant get to anybody because of the lack of slows and his dash is super easy to dodge tbh and that knock back on it makes me multiple times hit the person behide me instead of being able to go foward. Its really hard to get to people and even worse stick to them but you do a decent ammount of damage and you are fairly tanky. Right now my opinion on the reworked galio is kinda weird because if you want a tanky champion for disengage and such nautilus will be a lot better and way more reliable than galio currently is but if you want an ap fighter with a ton of damage a bit tanky who can duel and split push then tp flank then diana is a better choice than galio. EDIT: Forgot to describe my play style on both. On tanky top lane Galio i like to play it like a shen hold top lane till i can impact the map with tp mostly from a flank angle since its really hard to get into a fight and i can use ult to help peel mostly its too hard to use the ult for engage some times i can even use it to escape a fight not reccomended but it works. On mid lane battle mage Galio i like to play it like a split push thread with assasination potential and decent duel power. Kind of like a diana playstyle. I Q the wave permenantly trying to avoid as much contact with the mid laner as i can until i get a couple of items then i go to side lanes with tp and make pressure there and you have a decent ammount of damage with ap itemisation. Teamfights are pretty trough with this playstyle but i found out that staying near the back line and using my Qs do a ton and with cdr it adds up and you can still peel well with your taunt e and ult. On tanky galio i prefer to be with the team compared to the battle mage build where i like to be more isolated. With the new changes i feel like nashor tooths is a very appealing item for him tbh im going to test a build that mix Glp ,aby scepter ,nashor tooths and zonias and see how it goes.

Is there a way you guys could test added ap ratio damage on passive, w and r damage reduction? I would suggest a 1% per 50 ability power damage reduction on w and r and a .4 ap ratio on passive. Right now ap galio cannot duel anybody because of his long cds and lack of ratios across the board his ultimate also needs a bigger ap ratio i would suggest increasing it to .9 to make it more (impactful) when building ap. Right now i am 100% confident galio will be played fully tank with cdr only no question about it i think his damage reduction ratios with defensive stats should be tuned down to welcome the ap ratios in. He doesnt even benefit for building ap that much at all right now and i would really enjoy if a roa aby scepter zonias type of build would be viable on him but currently that not the case. Just test it out we have all the time we need. He might also need a small base movement speed buff and early game health and mana buff his.

With my favorite beeing Warwick, Ryze, Gangplank and then Yorick. i really like the new Galio but i have just some tiny things that would make him better/thematically more fitting beeing an **anti-mage Mage** **1.** i really liked the old passive(not saying that you should bring it back) **2.** how about more MR-scalings on his abilities that way he would feel more like anti-mage mage (Ryze also has Mana-scalings on all of his abilities) **3.** have you thought about giving him his speed-up from his **old E** to his **new Q** back **4.** how about more damage on his ult considering how hard it is to land it on enemys thats just some thouhgts i had. im sure you havent played much galio but the current live galio shield has a huge ap ratio on hit heal this 1 only has armor and magic resist scaling for the reduction and all this does is make tanky galio so much tankier but ap galio doesnt get much of it.

Hello Solcrushed i would recommend if you guys add an ap ratio on passive and w. Right now i feel like theres no point in building im ap atm and its flat out better to go full tank with cdr. He also feel like he has a good kit for the jungle with potential. I think he needs increased base movement speed and Base Health and it would be really cool if he has added mechanics on his e to allow him to do combos like e flash similar to gragas. He currently feels too simple and too easy to predict with with the big delays on his e and r if you guys can slightly decrease the delay time on e and ult it would help him out. Current score of the galio rework for me its 7/10 he has really good skins and is pretty cool to play tanky with a nice kit with good potential when everything is fixed. He doesnt seems to be perma ban and its great because as a long time galio player i will enjoy him on his new state on live server
: He already has better ap ratios than most mages, and they aren't very long cooldowns. Much better ratios than old Galio for sure, don't see how he needs even more.
he has less ratios than gragas and he is a fairly similar champion to him but do you see ap gragas mid meta? no because tank gragas is so much better with cdr tank you just cc bot people. hes gonna need added ap ratios to work properly in the mid lane as a battle mage otherwise im calling it its gonna be full cdr tank cc bot in the top lane. he might be able to jungle and that would help with added ap ratios
