: 'Hexakill: Twisted Treeline' featured game mode coming soon to the PBE
I don't often criticize you guys, but really...a previous gamemode, just on a different map. I can see you going all "oh but you see this is a huge change man! like, there is so much less space to hide...and like, HEXAKILL DUDE!!!". Honestly, not all that many people enjoyed Hexakill from what I saw and the map change won't change much. Maybe you just want to promote TT a little more. But then why the hell don't you just listen to all the URF fans (I don't know even one player who disliked URF) and just do that? Either you just are ignorant and you don't believe what people ask for is the best for them (which is sometimes true but sometimes it's just ignorance) OR you already have an URF gamemode plan that is much greater. I hope it's the latter but in all honesty, this is absolutely not appealing to me.
: Can we talk about PBE toxicity?
I feel that the PBE population is a little more "extreme" than the live server one. Extremely good or extremely bad. My personal experiences with other players on PBE were actually mostly positive, more positive than on live servers. Then again I don't play here quite as much as on live. However, I did also experience extreme cases of trolling. Those trolls have the "this is just PBE/nobody can report or ban me" attitude. You can't find this phenomenon on live servers. At least not to this extent. Those players should be dealt with quickly as I believe they are not large in numbers. As mentioned before, I mostly met positive players ingame and even more so in chat. They are very responsible and I guess just in the right mind for participating in PBE. There are many people I can relate to and talk to, even about topics outside of LoL. I'm not sure how punishment works on PBE, but I believe Rioters should consider banning very toxic behaviour more quickly which would, I think, keep the number of participants stable and garantuee an appropriate environment for PBE.

: When will the new sr come to the PBE?
According to this: http://promo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/summoners-rift/overview.html "SOON" So anything from 1 day to 2 months.
: (2/11 edit) Summary of PBE leveling, IP/RP and pricing updates
Maybe you guys could hand out RP in the same way as IP after matches. I believe that would provide a sense of motivation. I guess it would be a good compromise, but I'm generally ok with this change.
: it is a good idea, but instead of signals you could put the ability to draw an arrow or a line on the map to plan these invasions or ganking (sorry for English)
Already I can sense the incredible amount of phalli and swastikas that are to be drawn on the maps. A sight to behold.
: Heartseeker Ahri
It's a bit late for that now ;P Apparently, skins take about a month to make. Not sure if conceptual work is counted in there and even then it needs testing on PBE ;<
: A little lost...
You already did what you're supposed to do. You read the forums and thereby found out what needs testing. Other than that you just play games the same way you do on live and if you coincidentally encounter a bug, you report it. There's not much more to it. There was a discussion on patch notes being posted on here recently, but for now there are no official patch notes. You can head to reignofgaming.net or surrenderat20.net for inofficial patch notes.
: Unable to buy skins!
Well, do you have the champions then? Tried relogging?
: Unable to Watch Replays
http://community.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/c/bugs/RWVgouMV-verified-bug-reports-updated-jan-27 Replays are not watchable and provide the same error message in all cases ("Cannot watch this Replay: This was a private game. [...]")
: This makes no sense. Most people who had old accounts, re-applied with the new program and got accepted. If you punished people with multiple accounts, you would be punishing a wide majority of the PBE player base. Also, alot of the shop and gifting bugs could only be discovered if you had two accounts to begin with or someone who was willing to gift you(which most people don't because everyone can buy everything themselves).
I'm not talking about those whose accounts have been disabled due to the system change. There are players who just applied with multiple League accounts and got accepted multiple times, which doesn't make sense to me. Also, I believe that the gifting features can easily be tested even without an additional account. I wasn't around when those features actually made it to PBE first, but I don't think Riot encouraged you to test those by using multiple accounts.
: Will riot ever re-activate inactive accounts?
Well, it certainly does not make sense to me. The rules clearly say that you are allowed to have only one account, which I find is common sense in a beta client. Having multiple accounts should rather be punished.
This was something I wanted to suggest for a long time but wasn't sure whether it would actually be useful in PBE. It's really cool that you made it though. But are you actually going to ask for player opinions on PBE patches now? Because I was hoping for that. (Also try and link the forum and the client ;P)
: Hexakill Enabled on PBE!
Hey Rioters, just wanted to give some feedback for Hexakill, which I just tested. I can totally see the big potential this gamemode has to offer. The main reason for that being the big changes it should bring to the meta. However, I believe for a temporary gamemode it just can't keep up with One for All or even Showdown. It lacks the twist those two provided to the gameplay. If Hexakill is meant to be a permanent mode like 3v3, I can see potential and I would agree with giving that a try, because I can only imagine this to work if players have loads of time to actually make sense of all the meta changes. Otherwise it's just like 5v5 with a license to troll. 6v6 can spontaneously be good if you have a team that corresponds well, but that's not garantueed obviously. The other temporary game modes were fun regardless of the other teammembers. These are my thoughts on Hexakill so far.
: Ranked solo queue takes loooong time
This is fairly normal on PBE. It's better you get used to it if you want to keep being a tester. It depends on the time of the day too though. Usually it's most active when NA starts playing. I guess most PBE peeps are from NA. PBE naturally has a small playerbase, so there's not much that can be done about that. However, I find that ARAM queues are usually quite short compared to the others. Never had to wait more than 20 minutes so far.
: Where would you suggest we put such a thing? If you're talking about here on the forums, I don't know how much value that would have since a majority of PBE players don't really go on the forums. It's mostly our hyper-engaged users that regularly visit the forums and I find that most of them just go on Surrender@20 for this. The type of auto-script and file scraping you're talking about is basically what Moobeat and the guys at S@20 already do. Riot typically deploys updates to the PBE every day so it would eat up a lot of our publishing/community team bandwidth to maintain this. Is there any info you would like to help you know what we need testing on that isn't being posted on S@20?
I often feel like you should connect the PBE client with the forum some more. I'm not sure if that would hurt the testing aspect of this beta, since it won't be something that would be released on live (although it might be useful there too, in some way). For example, you could replace the help dialog button with a button that links to an official patch notes thread on these forums. Just label it clearly and if possible make it stand out somehow, similar to the store button. Other than that, I suggest you make use of that new notification feature you made to let us testers know what we should focus on. The forums are the only source of official information the average tester has and I believe it is your number one source for feedback. That's why I think you guys should try and make more than a small fraction of testers frequent the forums. Maybe the current state of things in this matter is ok for you. In that case, nevermind. But I think you are constantly trying to improve on all fronts even on PBE. Every step towards more forum members is a good way to achieve that.
: Game Unable to Start - Tried different champs and different modes
Judging from Public chat no game seems to work right now. Games keep crashing after loading screens, after moving your champ, after moving the camera...
: they do that on ebay i have seen profiles even diamond and gold ranked profiles but still i dont think someone will tell in the chat about himself that he want to sell his profile :D most likely to be happend is someone told you to sell your account but still i dont think here is the place 4 that ......
If you take a look into the screenshot I provided, you'll see your statement proven wrong.
: Bug: Ping is high
The PBE server is located in Los Angeles. The further away you are, the higher your ping. 180 is fairly normal for an EU player. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to improve this, but as a EU player myself I gotta say the game is absolutely playable at that point. Also, read the FAQ before posting, please: http://community.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/c/site-feedback/031P2FJX-updated-faq-public-beta-environment

: New Audio Engine on PBE!
Haven't read all the comments here, but I'll report anyway. It seems that the announcer voice after kills ("An ally has been slain" etc) just comes later than before the patch. Before the patch it came almost immediately, while now it takes about 2 seconds. Not sure if that is intended though.
: If you guys have additional suggestions for FAQs, please post them here!
I suggest you include a link to this FAQ in the client in some way. Like, upon clicking on the "Help" tab in the client, the FAQ could pop up. I noticed that often new players don't even realize there even is a PBE forum where they are supposed to report bugs or look for help. Oh, and I have a question, too. Where/How do you report players who appear to be suspicious? I have met some people in chat who seem to have gotten their PBE account by irregular means or they even try to sell theirs.
: New Audio Engine on PBE!
Could you try and explain how the Audio Engine influences the sound and how exactly the new engine is different from the old one? I'm just interested in this kind of stuff.

: Team Builder available on the PBE! Monday (1/13) and Tuesday (1/14) from 1:00 - 5:00 PM PST!
I just had my first test run, and I gotta say the system is wonderful. I didnt encounter any bugs so far and everything seemed to have worked as intended. Of course due to the nature of PBE it took some time (30 min) to find someone to fill in the support role. However, that gave the teammates in the lobby time to have a healthy little chat. I quite enjoyed it.
: Look, they recently opened up the PBE to registration. There is more players now that can come into the PBE, which leads to more people who just don't care because its not live. It's something you have to deal with. Just report them and walk away. There's no point in giving "higher priority reports" or "immediate warnings". Those players don't care. You get warnings after reports already and they still continue to troll/afk. All this does it add a complex system that isn't needed, uses more resources to make and develop, for little gain. It's basically the same thing as coding a report system in a game that already has a report system. It's really not necessary for the simple fact that, The warnings do nothing for the player and on top of that, the reports will still get handled at the same pace. This system would just cherry pick reports but, at the end of the day, the reports will be dealt with, regardless of the order. The only way to make this go any faster would to hire more people to handle reports but, why invest into that when if you just report them and wait, they will get banned anyways. Basically, this is just a way to give players more power for reasons that don't benefit anything. If anything, its creating more work that takes resources away from other things, for no gain.
I agree with Annie here. I happen to be quite experienced in community management and priority reports will simply not be worth the work they cause. However, I would be interested in some sort of "embassador" or "moderator" position for some renowned PBE members. Clearly there is a problem with toxic player behaviour, so something has to be done one way or another. I'm not thinking of any special rights for such members. I'm thinking of some players who serve as a bridge element between developers and the community. A handful of chosen players who have some way to make direct contact to Riot employees. I'm not sure how community management is being handled by Riot on PBE. I've been here only for a few weeks (enjoying it very much though!) but I think there just may be a way to improve Riot presence in this quite exclusive and therefore small playerbase. Beyond forum posts I mean. It's up to Riot to decide whether they have the ressources to make this happen, but I think it could be worth a try.
: Team Builder
On Monday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 14, Team Builder will be available from 7 - 11 PM CET. Quote from an e-mail from Riot. Don't forget to convert to your timezone.
: So... does anyone know when it comes back? I kinda want to try it out...
Just got an e-mail. Apparently, next testing phase is coming Monday/Tuesday.
