: Taric Visual and Gameplay Update Feedback/Bugs Thread
Hello, i have an issue with Taric's E "Dazzle" and i really hope for once i can get some feedback. The visual is way too thick, i barely see it and it goes so fast. If only the beam could be different or at least leave some dust behind so you know what you've been hit by. It's like a 2 frame picture and it's really barely noticable. Same thing with Q spell really : http://puu.sh/o8lVG/9b85f80b1c.jpg That's the brighest particle and it's barely noticeable in fight because it's not flashy enough and it appears for a single semi-second...needs more "healing" vibes around.

Shen is doomed, such a great champion destroyed so hard...i hate Riot for this, they will wake up in a year when Shen won't ever be played in competitive and will have the worst winrates possible in all roles.

I'm still driving hard on bugs so I don't yet have time to fully respond to some of this, but wanted to pop in and say thanks as well as get out this patch note. Below does not encompass all the bugs being fixed but notes some of the more noticeable ones The things in bold are balance changes Jhin PBE changes 1/20/2016 P **-The crit damage reduction on the passive now affects Crit damage increases (like IE). This means that while IE used to bring Jhin's crits from 150% to 200% damage, it now brings them to 187.5% damage** - (hopefully) fixed a bug where Jhin could attack while reloading and reset his reload timer Q W -Fixed a bug where the red targeting indicator (you see this if you would be rooted by the spell) was displaying to the wrong team. This is it really. Shen will be the next Yorick with this crap update. His gameplay is BORING AS HELL even MORE than the old one for some reason. I totally dislike the magical sword stuff and everything about it. I don't feel like i'm playing at all because expect the dash he has no real interaction with the ennemy expect AUTOS. All the rest is blank, poorly designed and clunky. It wasn't that good, but i felt really better throwing swords at the ennemy then dashing in for an enpowered auto and regen than having a sword that does litteraly nothing. Imo they should just remove the useless spirit sword stuff, add another Q spell that fits Shen and make the aoe dodge buff around Shen. Because at this way, he'll be like Sejuani was and they had to rework her shortly after her release out of shame. I guarantee it, nobody will play Shen anymore, his winrate will be crap and pickrate horrible. Give it a month after the update release. There is nothing appealing to the character at all, why the hell would i play Shen now i ask myself ? Why would i pick this lazy-ass boring fake ninja when i can pick other crazy stuff ? That's exactly the point. Want a tanky support that actually helps your team ? Take Leona.

Shen's Q should for like Orianna's Q, otherwise it's a pain in the ass to target your group for the aoe dodge.
: I think it can be said that high win rate doesn't exactly always correlate with champion power. Like most skill based champions that can carry games are at the bottom of the win rate ladder. Then there's Amumu who has always had a consistently high win rate across all ranks. Does that make him OP? Not really. Once you get past Gold, Kindred's win rate goes pretty top tier. She's a mobile champion with strong scaling and a point and click slow. Once caught, it's hard to escape her ganks, and if not, she can easily scale well in the jungle. Those Rengar changes are a buff for new players (who would likely die in the jungle), and a nerf to his damage, as now it's not as front loaded to his empowered Q (thought since most Rengar players start off with an empowered Bola, not to much of a nerf).
Yes i wrote it too early, saw the nerf too late, but enjoyable ! I main Kindred on plat level and even if yes, what you stated is true, it's always a pain to see any nerf.

I'd rather have those phantom blades spawning on Irelia when she ults than follwing Shen for nothing... Honestly, i don't even get why they reworked Shen that much, his gameplay was fine... But it's done now we'll never play old shen again. I don't get how this one new is fun, what is fun ? He lost his throwing knife and gets nothing actually appealing. He's still clunky with a big ass useless sword. When i press buttons i don't feel like doing anything.

Probably but i surely got a bug because first 10 minutes he had his "swag walk" then after a while he ran like any normal being for the rest of the game (expect when he prepares his fourth hit)

It's already written on the skill that if you cancel it you gain -10% CDR for each bullet you didn't shoot.

I love the champion in every single way, a great success ! When i started the game he walked so fabulously then went normal, i love both but i don't know how it changed. I also tried him AP and it was really fun to detonate the traps with Luden, and the damage was fine ! About the ultimate, i loved the "Make them Beautiful" note and the music from the teaser behind is amazing. I would enjoy it more if the camera went back to me however, you really need to keep an eye on your surroundings when using that ult. Lots of fun and i love the character, so fabulous and passionate. Don't like his High Noon skin tho, it's great don't get me wrong but i prefer his basic theme with the basic particles just because of all the stuff about it. He would fit the Valentine "Heartseeker" theme so great. Throwing chocolate boxes instead of the Lotus traps and shooting hearts and stuff with his insane sexy quotes ahah.

In the same vein, we may only answer the same question once. It's not that we're trying to ignore your responses and feedback, we're quite busy on our end, especially during the holiday season (prepping things for Snowdown!) While I can't speak to gameplay or champion threads, I can speak to skins and how PBE feedback is important for us. As Amy Sery mentioned below, we changed the color of Blood Moon Elise (actually three times, if you include the final - pink to red to a happy medium). I worked on that skin, and it was a really good opportunity for me to see the passion the community had regarding skins (I was still pretty new), and to see how player feedback was taken seriously. Some other changes that have been made to skins due to player feedback (especially PBE) are * Giving Firecracker Jinx a tattoo * Adding back Soraka's tattoos on Order of the Banana Soraka * Better Aligning OotL Irelia's outfit with OotL Karma * Changing Zombie Nunu's passive color * Giving Warring Kingdoms Katarina an ombré * Changing Slayer Jinx's hair to read less like ribbons * Puffing up Snow Day Syndra's coat sleeves * Darkening Challenger Ahri's charm because we couldn't change the color due to gameplay reads * Going back and changing Braum's passive indicator to be unique for Dragonslayer and Luchador * Pushing Debonair Galio out several patches to make some of the changes suggested by players While we do make changes, we can't accommodate all of them, and it's not because we don't want to. As you know, we release new content every patch, which gives us less than two weeks to show you the content, get your feedback, and make changes. A lot of the content is on a schedule - especially holiday skins like Snowdown skins - which means we can't just move them to a different patch. T his means that re-doing a model isn't something we can do, or giving someone a new animations. We can, however, make some small texture/model adjustments, particle adjustments (especially if there are gameplay concerns), things of that nature. Hope this clears things up a bit!

It makes sense but still, as i made the preview from photoshop, we mainly just ask for the color on mini gnar to be a bit more grayish/white than this hard blue. I don't think the texture will cause any trouble for that since...after all....it's just a color swapping. Thanks again.

Hello sorry to post this here but i was just hoping for a Rioter to give feedback on the SnowDay Gnar thread because it's totally dead compared to this one a bit sad for those who actually asked for some changes... please and thanks.

: Just got on PBE to try this out {Gnar Main here}. _**Initial impressions:**_ **What I like**: * Love the blueish winter color scheme - blue circles for hyper, snowy particle effects, icy animations for all the abilities is a nice touch. * Love his little outfit. **Could be better**: * **Mini Gnar's blue fur color:** in mini form could be toned down from being BRIGHT royal blue to a more subtle tone in the fur to match his Mega Gnar colors better. * **Q boomerang crisper?:** it plays smooth in visuals as usual, although could be more crisp animation defining what kind of object you're throwing perhaps, minor complaint. * **The transformation from mini to mega getting "snowy" is sorta distracting**, especially when you hold your rage bar for a teamfight so you can time your transformation to mega form. At first it was pretty cool {no pun intended}, but it quickly got distracting and sorta unwanted. Not sure if this can be more subtle and toned down or not. * **Mega Gnar "penguin boulder" sound effect:** the penguin boulder was an ok creative choice i guess {although i'm sure PETA will have a hissy fit, lol}, but i sorta expected a more satisfying sound effect when it lands then the current soft-sounding boulder toss. The clock "GONG" on gentlemen is nice, and smashing house for Dino Gnar, or boulder slam with classic; the ice penguin just sorta seemed like an opportunity to have a penguin "squak!" or something. Maybe people wouldn't like it, it might sound cruel or something, lol, i dont know, but it's just a suggestion. Maybe make the boulder sound like an Ice boulder more, like shattering Ice? Maybe voice effects aren't fully implemented, i don't know. But i just expected it to be better sounding. Probably too late to change. I don't see how fixing her Q would bring bugs upon bugs since it's a mechanic that already exists in the game the code is there and ready you have it fore Ahri's W for example that has been fixed to prioritize champions a while ago.
: Her Q prioritizes the last championed auto'd if in range but will hit minions if they are closer than her target. This is so have to auto after every Q and stay close to your target. This was never intended as a poke tool. This is why they heavily recommend jungling with them.
Well this is what i find totally stupid. What if i DON'T want to jungle with them ? What if i wanna go botlane, am i beeing punished for it ? Jungle or Botlane, having Q aiming at champions without autos is the same thing for both roles, but as you state it, it's better in the jungle. The question is, why is that ? Why should a marksman be forced better in jungle when a single obvious tweak would make it balanced ? I don't think Riot has any logic behind that tbh. I swear and i make it clear here be my witness : if Kindred goes out at this state, they won't make it out of 40% winrate in a month before buffs. No one is gonna want a marksman in ranked jungling and everyone is gonna have trouble playing this botlane against Tristanas and Kalistas. They tried to put a champ in a role that just doesn't fit, at least they didn't give the right tools for it, and it's gonna blow.

I think they will do but not as you think. Surveys have been wandering around ingame asking if people would like map skins implemented. I'm pretty sure they will add optional voices and map skins like the one we had for the bilgewater event as payable content.

Listened again and again and i can confirm : the track from the teaser isn't in the full track or the game...i'm really dissapointed as hell...it was so awesome..

First thing, this skin is hell awesome and i can't wait to have it live ! But there are just 3 things i still don't understand : 1. Her music keeps going after her death, shouldn't there be a break of somekind ? 2. I just can't seem to find [this track](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s687wYDA8SM) from the teaser (the first part) it's one of the best beats i've ever heard and after playing for a while i didn't hear it a single time...why ? :( 3. Aren't there any sound effects or voice over for her emotes ? They feel really empty.

Thanks to the people who ruined this skin by saying it should be red, the purple pink totally fit Elise and the skin was perfect, who gives a damn if the blood moon is red, this wasn't the point of this skin. Pink is a varient of red, i would be mad if the skin went green or blue but don't we have enough red on the damn classic skin already...How would you even explain the logic of making her particles pink/purple when the skin is red ? She was the perfect reflect of "beauty" and "elegance" compared to Blood Moon Tresh that is pure wicked evil, why did a bunch of people have power to ruin something for millions of players, i can't believe that. I'm just so mad right now, Orianna doesn't have any particle on her ultimate because it was really hard to put some ice wind flowing and snowflakes blasting out of the ball, and now Elise lost her main point of interest, this is gonna be a hell of Christmas. Please Riot reconsider this, just watch at surrenderat20 the complains, people are way more complaining about this than the previous skin, she deserves a bit of pink love.

It's rare for me to post on the forums, but this is my only chance to get the skin i always wished for my favorite midlaner. Winter Wonder Lulu costs 1350 rp and has tons of particle and sound changes. Winter Wonder Orianna's skin looks awesome but the particles seems so unfinished. The Ultimate at the very least should do some kind of wind snowstorm and then release a bunch of snowflakes after the shockwave... Also other little point, the basic attack has still a metallic sound for a snowflake, it doesn't feel real, i don't mind paying the price for a better skin i just want something good for her, i beg.

: Doom Bots of Doom Enabled on PBE!
I tried a game, that's an amazing mode, we almost lost to those bots on first level difficulty. Just one thing, the bots are still the same aren't they ? Ok they are scary, but they do act a bit stupid sometimes. It would be better for Morgana bot to zhonya AFTER she uses her ult for exemple.

I know this post of mine will pass out in the flood of comments and probably no one will ever see it, but why don't you make this skin 1350 worth ? Cait has already 5 skins and is 3 years old, doesn't she deserve that ? The pulsefire concept was absolutely awesome, and i'm kinda sad with the actual Headhunter skin beeing too "gray" and not "futurist" enough. First thing first, her walking animation does NOT fit the skin theme, she's walking like a sort of princess wearing an armor ? That's stupid ! I just want Cait to have a skin that doesn't feel like Cait, another vision of her... that's what 1350 skins are for right ? When you look at Soul Stealer Vlad, it doesn't seem like the same thing at all...imo. Headhunter Nidalee is green, Rengar is orange, why don't you had some more red to Cait's armor ? I don't mind paying more for a quality skin, which is not the case at the moment fully. This is the only time we're getting a futuristic Caitlyn skin, for Caitlyn players DO UNDERSTAND what that means for us.

In my opinion, you should change the turret hits soundeffect, it's really loud and...annoying somehow, don't know for others but i can't stand it for long so i move my camera far from it.

I totally love the skin but please as you focused on a skin for him, focus now on his gameplay. His E has a huge bug where it wouldn't stack most of the time, reducing constantly his damage. Also, he's way behind every toplaner at the moment and even good you can't get him to dominate in lane. I was wondering if we couldn't add something to the ultimate, like a spellvamp while it's channeling. If Vladimir is close enough to the victims he ulted, he would drain their health for the time. I hope somethings makes it out of that, cause i love the skin and Vlad but it's useless to play him in ranked right now, he gets stomped by all the current picks. Please, consider that.
