: PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Hail of Blades
>Cooldown: 5s out of combat. Do you think that, perhaps at a longer cooldown, this could be changed to be out of combat **with champions**, a la Shadow Assassin Kayn? The current mechanics make this extremely difficult to utilize effectively in lane since the keystone doesn't reset while CSing.
: Marksman and AD Itemization Changes coming to PBE shortly
Since IE is providing double crit chance instead of 20%, can we cut all the Zeal items to 25% crit chance and rebalance accordingly? It feels bad not being able to get 100% without going over with a double Zeal item build.

: Hey, ya'll! Sorry for our lack of responses in this thread. Doesn't mean that we weren't taking in all this feedback though! Unfortunately, with how complexly tied his animations, model, VFX, and SFX are to each other due to his evolution, we weren't able to make too many adjustments, while also handling all the bugs on him. Here are some quick points on some of the feedback we got from multiple sources. * We were able to up the spikiness and readability on his Evolved W, since that was a gameplay concern. Unfortunately, it also took a while to figure out a clean and effective way to accomplish this due to Kha'Zix's complexity. * Adding in processed VO lines is pretty much a no-go when a skin reaches PBE unless we want to completely remove the skin from the patch and push it off to a later date because VO processing requires a full re-Localization of the VO lines across all regions, which there's unfortunately just not enough time for. We honestly should have accounted for this during development by understanding that you all would've liked similar Dark Star processing to Thresh as opposed to Varus who had no processing. * The difference between splash art and model is something that you can trace back to many skins because the purposes of splash art and in-game model are similar but ultimately have different goals. The model must support gameplay, readability, and clarity on top of aesthetics, whereas splash art strives to depict a version of the skin where we can show off the character in higher detail and accentuate the fantasy behind the skin, particularly through specific story moments for the character. The variances between model on Summoner's Rift vs. the Dark Star Kha'Zix you see about to devour some sad planets in space are attributed to the different colorization, story, and lighting in those two different settings. * We understand that some thought that he looked too similar to Mecha instead of Dark Star, but we wanted to push the boundaries of what a Dark Star could look like with Orianna and Kha'Zix and felt this particular version of Dark Star Kha'Zix was stronger than the other concepts we had. We tried to alleviate the Mecha look by adjusting the polygonal/geometric look of his claws and wings by giving them a starry/galactic scrolling texture overlay; however, it ended up looking too similar to Void instead of Dark Star, so we reverted the changes. This was a good learning experience to vet the thematic cohesion of the model better during earlier stages.

Ahh.. that's a shame. One of my favorite things about Mecha Kha'Zix is the robot voice. Having a different voice, especially one that is thematically relevant to the skin, is really nice. It'd be awesome hearing [voice effects like this for this skin.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1351o5nHTTE) I think that myself and many others wouldn't mind waiting for a later release date for this addition, but I doubt it'll happen. I hope it is something that you explore in the future. It's something that would really make or break a purchase for me.

Evolved Kha'Zix W CD is 10 seconds instead of 9 seconds.

Any chance of Akali's E being converted to Magic Damage?
: Bug with duskblade (true damage buff not refreshing properly)
You just have to enter and leave enemy vision to get it to work again. I thought it was intended tbh.

Kha'Zix's Q doesn't refund CD if cast on a non-Isolated target that becomes Isolated during the cast time. It needs to check for Isolation on hit, not on cast. I've had situations where a W would kill jungle creeps or minions but Q would not refund its CD despite dealing Isolated damage + animation.
: This is definitely a nerf, because at the moment, all three items that give 20 lethality are unique passives. That means none of them stack. Also, there are no lethality runes available at the moment, so this just gives you less in the early game, and eventually, if you get to super super late game, you get the same, only with less sources for stacking, i.e. no stacking.
>all three items that give 20 lethality are unique passives. That means none of them stack That's not how that works. Lethality is not the name of the passive. Unnamed unique passives of the same type on different items (e.g. CDR) stack. >Also, there are no lethality runes available at the moment, so this just gives you less in the early game [Sure there are.](http://imgur.com/a/1966R) Only Ghostblade suffers from the Lethality change until late game. Duskblade and the new item give more than 10 (what Duskblade and Maw currently have) after level 3, which is well before when the items will be bought. It is a nerf for Dirk before level 8.
: Hey, just posted info and the formula here. http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-gameplay-feedback/RYuvnjbT-lethality-info

: Aurelia Sol passive disabled with taunts
When his spellcasting ability is disabled, his passive is disabled. Can you cast spells while taunted? No. Working as intended.

: <3 <3 I would love more feedback on him! I did fix a bunch of other bugs with Azir today.
This is more of a balance thing, but is there any chance of Azir's soldiers getting changed so they apply Krugs' buff?
: Complains about post having a lack of understanding, posts a reply with no understanding of the game and of the post. Nice try.
Tell me how my points are wrong.
: Duskblade of Draktharr and Nightfall Question
>First of all is it there any official threat for the Duskblade of Draktharr? I haven't seen any I dont know if cant find it or just there isnt any I'm not quite understanding what you're asking here. >Why was is the application of Nightfall a passive and not an active? It has a decent Cooldown so you cant really use your auto attacks on enemy champions that arent your main objetive. Making it an active would give the player using it too much agency, resulting in the item either being significantly more expensive, having less stats, or a much less powerful effect. >Also I was wondering why was it decided to throw a bit of ms on it? kinda rare to see on an AD item. It's to give AD Assassins a %MS itemization choice like other offensive classes (AP Mages/Assassins, AD Marksmen).
: Do not make the same mistakes!
>It gives you a Zed ultimate, and, not only that, it's used to effectively fight against tanks. Tanks will not only mitigate incoming damage, but they will mitigate a large portion of Nightfall itself. So unless you plan on taking a tank to very low HP without autoattacking at all as an Assassin or are picking on a tank who is already very low HP, good luck using it effectively against a tank. >Assassins, with that item, will be strong against both squishies and tanks. The item is better against squishies against tanks. Not only is flat damage a smaller percentage of a tank's HP, but the %HP damage is only effective if the tank is incredibly low HP since the damage is mitigated by armor. Assassins will not be able to bring a tank to such a low HP threshold without using basic attacks.
: The new AD item can't go live
Oh boy, a post full of hyperbole and lack of understanding. >I have no clue why it's in the game and why someone even thought it was a good idea to put it in the game It's in the game to give AD assassins another item that caters specifically to them as well as to give Riot another balance point that they can balance AD assassins around in the future. AD assassin itemization right now is lacking, to say the least. This causes AD assassins to opt for items that occupy a different item space that is supposed to cater to other types of champions. >You remember season 3 league of cleaver? Well that's what's going to happen if this goes live. It does way too much damage for no reason and will get abused by literally anyone who uses has an auto attack and an ad ratio. It's really not. Firstly, "League of Cleaver" was only a thing because you could stack cleavers and reduce enemy armor to practically nothing. Secondly, the item is only optimally usable by champions who have a significant amount of non-basic attack damage. Not only is the item triggered by basic attacks, the item is also effective against champions who are low on HP. This means that a champion must do a significant amount of damage to an enemy champion before autoattacking at all or that a champion must already be low on HP. >Then on top of that, it has a huge boost to movement speed for no reason what so ever to make the item even more broken. Movement speed is good on every champion in the game and, as such, most champion roles/classes/archetypes/etc. have percentage movement speed (%MS) itemization. AD Marksmen have %MS itemization. AD Bruisers/Juggernauts have %MS itemization. AP Mages and Assassins have %MS itemization. AD Assassins, however, do not (other than Ghostblade, but that's an item active on a 45 second cooldown). >The passive portion is behond retarded. Just the 25% missing hp is a huge NOPE, DON'T PUT THIS IN THE GAME, but on top of that, it has a freaking 90 flat damage value, making it so in the WORST CASE POSSIBLE, the passive is STILL worth it since it's just a very long CD shiv proc that also gives insane stats. You can describe almost anything in the game and make it sound broken. "Wow, Teemo completely shuts down AD carries with his Q! Behond retarded! His blind makes it a 4v5 late game when he uses it on the enemy ADC! Behond retarded! AND he has movement speed built into his kit so you can't even catch him if you aren't fast enough! Behond retarded! Then there's his E which is broken! 5 auto attacks and he does 150% of his AP as magic damage! Behond retarded! That's like 1050 magic damage late game, just from AP! Plus it has a DoT and base damages.. broken! Behond retarded! Don't get me started on Teemo passive and ult!" Behond retarded! >But wait, there's more! If you fuck up and kill the target before it pops, fear no longer! It doesn't even go on CD, making it so you can 100-0 someone with the retarded stats of the item and then kill someone else with the passive while your abilities are on CD, GENIOUS. Riot already removed a large amount of agency from the player using this item by making it a passive that is difficult to optimally trigger rather than an active. >Bruisers like Jax, Xin zhao and hell, even darius will buy it since it's so fucking broken. Bruisers don't have room to be building items that are almost purely offensive and offer 0 defensive stats. Jax and Xin Zhao are more like light fighters/melee carries anyway. Especially Xin with the changes coming his way. Besides, the champions you listed cannot use the item optimally. Autoattacking is a significant part of all of those champions' kits. > On top of that, almost every ADCs will buy it since it gives more AD than IE while also having a better more reliable passive than IE, making it just a retarded item that shouldn't even be in the game in the first place. Your average AD Marksmen do not have room to be building items that do not give either crit chance, lifesteal, attack speed, or some combination of the 3. This combined with the fact that all AD Marksmen use basic attacks makes it a very poor itemization choice.
