I hope they really do something about W, it's a lot worse. - Fixed slow % - Is a lot smaller than the older W I tried it with Rylai and it's disappointing, honestly it's trash compared to the old W. The mechanics implemented were good, but the fact enemies can escape so easily from it by simply walking make it a lot underwhelming when compared to the old W. With the old W in normal server using Rylai, I could almost freeze the movement of whoever was to try to pass by it, which would help on plays or even escapes. Hopefully at least it's size will be increased and we will be able to aim it. What about if we aim too closer it throw a lot less pools? I think this could balance it, when we aim at the edge of the ability it throw the common quantity of now. Edit: Forgot to mention that, somehow the combo with E seem weaker. Maybe it's because the free 25% cd is gone, I will need to test further.

Her W range seem to be the most problematic of it all, Riot. Old W I am sure I could use to make some plays ina a teamfight in tight spots like, the jungle ( + using Rylai for maximum slow ). Now with this, it pretty much serves to stop an incoming TF or to stop enemies from running to maybe secure a kill. The two problems so far I thought - Can't buy magic pen boots, cheap magic pen is lost on this and we are left with high cost items like Liandry's and Scepter. Can't her passive also give a bit of free magic pen? **Magic pen in my opinion is core for DoT mages**, otherwise I think the best route ( and forced ) is to run full magic pen runes + the common defense runes - W not being able to aim the distance. Could it be altered back or make it durable for 6s and a bit larger? Or at least get a better slow per level. Edit: Her old W was also good to be used on brushes through wall to check if there are enemies ...
: Hi Repertoir. I'm a Master Tier Cassio main - here's my initial thoughts on the changes. Big fan of the Twin Fang change - I think it's cool that buying CDR on Cass won't feel bad like it has in the past. Two things that really bother me though: You said Q gives more MS but for less duration - how much less? One of the things that I like about Cassio is that if you are consistent with landing Q you effectively have a permanent move speed buff. Having it drop off before the poison drops off seems clunky and is one of the only things that I actually dislike about Cassio right now before she gets her 250 stacks. (Q is 4 second CD while MS is only 3 seconds). It feels really off until you hit that CDR point. I REALLY dislike that Miasma has a fixed range. I feel like that takes away a lot of Cassio's outplay potential against so many champions. One of my favorite things about Cassio right now is her ability to duel anybody in the game and the fact that Miasma could be throw on top of yourself was THE way of dealing with melee champions that used their mobility to avoid your Q. I'm actually super disappointed in this. It's what makes me dislike Aurelion Sol so much (and I wanted to like him so badly) - his Q has a minimum cast range and he just feels absolutely useless if the enemy gets in your face. I get that it's for balance / counterplay reasons but I feel like that get in your face = you lose counterplay should be reserved for champions like Xerath and Lux where their big advantage is actually range. Not a fan at all. Other battle ranges like Viktor / Vlad / Karthus and disruptors like Anivia can cast their abilities melee range to deal with people in their face. I can't even begin to describe how much I dislike this change...it basically kills one of my favorite things about Cass and totally deflated the excitement I had for the rework.
I also play with Cass quite a lot on my main account, I also agree with you on W. Old W with rylai for example, could really help on a teamfight in a tight spot because it would get bigger and we could aim. I really disliked this new W, the enemies seem to get easier out of it and the fact it's 800 range fixed make it annoying, I mostly used on my test to not let enemies escape or get near of me. I also think that not being able to equip boots makes us lose a cheap magic pen item, which makes me consider running full magic pen runes

I don't see the problem, it would be the same to walk till mid and use the ult. Still, maybe it could make her a good Top laner split pusher.

: Preseason back on PBE
I am getting stuck on a black screen when trying to load new summoner's rift. It give that typical firewall error when it isn't about firewall ( you know, the same type of error when the match after some minute just disappear? ) Edit: Nvm, I got to get into the game after likely 5min. Edit2: FPs of everyone in the game dropped a lot in a baron fight Edit3: Nvm, a guy in-game told me that it was a Sound bug that made fps drop. Disabling made me get high fps.

I haven't got myslef to use the skins, but as far I have seen it's a worth buy for who like Ashe. I myself didn't like the colors for the cloth but it's just personal.

I think hexakill mode is crashing my PC, I probably can't even get an in-game log as it stop my windows from working and I have to force shutdown. Edit: This mode Surrender option is horrible, 4 can vote yes but if two deny the game doesn't end.

It's a pretty interesting mode I'd say, but it would be more awesome for the dominion map ( maybe with a rebalanced Crystal HP ).
: Honestly, the only thing I would even dream of touching is his mana cost, but other than that, no, he shouldn't be changed. Even with his mana back on E, I feel his mana cost are just too out of date with the state of the game. A combo on Malzahar can burn 3/4ths of your mana pool early game, and unlike other mana hungry champions, he has NO method to charge a tear due to his very long CDs, and the fact he doesn't have even a single low cost skill to try and use to build it up slowly.
As I play with him for a long time, attempted various build and early game builds ... the best suited FOR ME at least is starting rushing Graal. **20% CD + monster mana regen** is enough to hold him from early to end game, you also get a bit more mr to lane on mid ( on my case it helps, my AP runes doesn't bring MR but let me get high mpen and a bit of AP ).

Worst champ design at moment is poor Sion. It might be easier happening to Sion than Warwick ( or not, since both aren't that much played )
: The point of Malzahar being unique was the fact that he is able to melt champions down while they didn't realize it. Another point to remember since you also main him is the fact that his minions would prioritize units affected by the malefic vision. This, like the vision's DoT is a more subtle way of damage, where even anti-mages such as talon would be hurt by. Then also another key point of his 'e' is its innate to provide mana each time it passes on. Imo, making it 3 seconds long would change the window of opportunity, quite possibly taking away its early game bonuses. I do agree that making it 3 seconds would increase Malzahar's dps, but that would end up making him more burst-y than he should be. Unlike Cassiopia or Brand (I don't play them, so I could be wrong) who's play style consists of more burst, Malzahar's strength is in his DoT. And to add on, he also has a pretty intimidating combo!
Maybe it is how I posted and it didn't explain well as how I thought, but in general Malzahar is the best when he got the ult up. **Brand or Cassiopeia** ( late game comparison ) you **can 1x1 an ADC** if you manage yourself against him ( even without their ult ). But **Malzahar** (late game comparison )? **He can't**, if the enemy isn't a newbie he can normally dodge the Q ... W can be dodge and E isn't alone enough to kill him. That's what I am trying to point out, he is a champion that pretty much you have got to be luck to not bump into an ADC with lt on CD or really want that he does not dodge the Q ( because it will hurt along with E, maybe making him retreat ). So in general he is truly a threat with ult up, without it you have to be with someone nearby or the chances are totally against you.

: Malz isn't a bug, all CC works like that, and I believe there was even a Red post about it a while back. If someone uses a skill at the same time you use your CC the skill they used still go off, regardless. This applies to every CC in the game, except for pulls (I believe the aforementioned Red post was on a post about Blitz's pull). As for brand being able to ult without triggering his CD, that is a bug and in need of some testing. I, sadly, am stucking doing college homework during the week days, but this weekend I will see if I can repro it.
I am sorry, but even if a Rioter said it .. it looks plainly stupid in my opinion. Malzahar really can get a kill on a combo ( E+W+Q+R )or if too fed E+Q+Q+E. His ult needs to works faster, first because his E is over time damage and it can't kill a tryndamere/adc/bruiser with Life Steal kind of high, he has no chance. **They never did used a skill at the same time, I never also said it, they take about 0,4s to use the skill after I did hit them and they break the ult.** Why Ezreal can keep ulting without interruption? His ult is a lot more useless when compared to many champions yet he has this perfect protection. Miss Fortune can lose ult while it may not even deal much dmg if bad positioned, but MF and Malzahar in this point are very very different as Malzahar can get his ult broken when he **SHOULD'VE already suppressed** the enemy but the enemy can hit back in the very early ult ( **THAT IS already** hitting the target). //Brand As I said ... it IS hard to reproduce and I don't use video recorders. The easiest way would be a Rioter getting access to my last play videos stored. ( All recent played games are getting corrupted, I don't know why ... reloading doesn't fix. )
