The game thinks his model is bigger then it is, the health bar is way to high, and when zyra vines hit him, they're as large as when the hit a big cho-gath.

Highschooler here in EST, and it's even more annoying, I have it 4-8, which is exactly when I want to get all of my HW done some I can play league from 8 on.

I think they should add a stacking magic resist debuff to all targets hit. Say 5% each time for 15 seconds It would force the player to choose between doing more damage to a single target, or applying the debuff to as many targets as possible so that your full combo will do more damage to them. Either way it would reward the player for hitting all 3 of their shots.
: In my point of view, I think Xerath's ultimate damage can be stack up when the enemy was shot more than once.It requires Xerath's player's skills of using the ultimate. In the other hand, I think that Xerath's ultimate should have a little time of flash to have a sight of where the enemies are. It don't too much time, just maybe a second or a flash.That could let the Xerath player to have a better shot.
What if they reduced the overall damage on his ultimate, but made each shot reduce its targets magic resistance by something like 5% for 10 seconds, stacking to a total of 15% overall.(The numbers might be a bit high) This would make it do more damage if they player manages to hit all 3 shots on a target, but it also gives it a bit more utility because he could ult into a group of enemies in a teamfight and then follow up with his full combo, in addition to allowing his allies to do more magic damage.
: That may have been how you saw him, but he is supposed to be a high range artillery cannon, and that role has been maintained if not improved by this rework.

I like how {{champion:22}} icons have more of an icy feel, but like others have said they have zero contrast. This makes it boring, and maybe even confuses some players as to what skill they are clicking, because all of them look like ice arrows.(I mean thats what they all are, but its hard to to tell which one is which from just the icons. I think the portrait is little off, too bright imo.
