: Custom Games bugged
Can confirm, this just happened to me too. Had a custom summoners rift game with Cho, Shen, WW, Soraka, MF, Sona, Malphite, Swain, Sivir bots and me trying to play Heimerdinger.

: PBE has too many toxic members
I joined on Sunday and nearly all the people i've played with have been lovely! I've only had to report one person. So out of all the people i've played with that's quite a low percentage.

: Sorry I was not clear. My concern was: does breaking the meta with random people lead to higher toxicity? Does giving people the ability to force other players to play by other rules than what they expect, lead to higher toxicity? I wanted to start a discussion and see if other people noticed this as well. On the other hand, related to anti-abuse, people may circumvent the system to get shorter queue times by playing a bogus meta - I managed to do this. I abused the system with ease (I know anti-cheat/abuse mechanisms are not in place). Although I do not know how you would detect this, or if there is any point in detecting this. Also, all of the people in my team were looking for the standard meta and neither of them dodged to look for a new team. Does this mean it is not obvious enough what they are queue-ing for? or does it mean there should be a longer minimum time in the team lobby before they can click "Ready" for them to understand their team and decide to go with it?
I think the problem here is the team leader can choose the summoner, but the summoner can't choose the team. So when they're in queue and get put into a 2 top, 3 bot 'split push to the max' combo and they don't think it's going to work, they complain and hence the perceived toxicity, blaming TB for putting them into this "awful" team. And instantly completely forget they can leave and rejoin the queue very easily. Like I said in the big thread started by lyte, giving the summoner in queue a small glance at the team comp would allow them to decline instantly and save a fair bit of time and toxicity. Of course you'd still have a minute percentage who wouldn't bother to read this but still. I'm not sure what you mean by "Bogus meta". People making a team of 2 top and 3 mid just to get a game? Knowing that it probably won't work well and there was no rhyme nor reason behind the team comp? Surely the desire to have a "Good game" with a balanced team and nice people would outweight the need for just playing a game with whatever is spat out first in team builder? I can't really comprehend it.
: I've played it for a bit and it was quite fun! I solo q'd yorick support for all of my games and it went well. I also made a lobby with a dual jungler setup which ended up doing very well. Here's some points that I came across while playing that I thought bore noting down. 1. Music is very nice, a bit too loud. Some little mute option would be lovely. Or a volume control! 2. No way to hop out of initial champ select without choosing champ. When you're choosing a champion to queue with to get paired into a team, everything else is greyed out, meaning you have to select a champ/skin, then hop out of queue. It'd be a bit more streamlined to make the middle top dialog box open again with the little cross box so you could hop out at this point. 3. Approx/actual time needs fixing, although i'm sure this is already on your radar. 4. Option to change runes/masteries during queue before getting into a team would be nice. 5. Percentages of people queueing up for which lane when choosing would be neat addition. So we could gauge what to go for. Also would make neat stats. If 30% of people queueing up were going for bot lane and only 10% were queueing for jungle, that might sway me for what to queue if I was in a pinch. Or failing that, how about the names of the lanes when choosing a champ change colour dependent on relative queue size? Red for a long queue, blue for a short one or something. 6. Random button for the champion and lane would be nice. May give some inspiration for people who don't know what to play. Then if we like the combination we queue up for it. 7. Music doesn't fade out/come to an end at the end of champ select before the loading screen like summoner's rift music does. 8. No sense of occasion for when a team is finally formed and joins the queue. It just quietly sulks into the loading screen with no notification. A little fanfare or something would be nice when the gang finally gets together. 9. Give a small insight into the team when you're a solo player and a match is found (How many top mid bot jungle). So you can save everyone time by just choosing decline instantly, instead of getting into the team, finding it's 5 mid and deciding you don't want part of that and jumping out again. 10. A look at the enemy team after our team has formed, but before the loading screen, coupled with an opportunity to change runes and masteries would be a lovely addition in my eyes. i've seen some games on team builder which could have gone the other way with different runes/masteries on certain champs. 11. The ready button is a bit out of the way, which led to me missing it the first time around. Making it more obvious (Like the orange lock in button on normal blind) might work. Regardless, this is all most certainly a step in the right direction, I do look forward to seeing what develops from this testing.
I thought of an addition to my list here, which might help getting the perfect team together could be when you start a team and are looking for players: * Show a choice of *2 or 3 different players* who matched the criteria in the queue (All different champions, of course) and you could choose one, or choose none of them and keep waiting. I have admit it's quite long saying no to a Lee Sin jungle because you're already too ad heavy, then declining a Kha'zix jungle 20 seconds later. Admittedly, a downside to this would be the niche picks (The Twitch jungles of the world, Soraka mids and the Urgot anywheres) having longer queue times because there would usually be a "Conventional" or "Flavour of the month" pick that could be taken instead. Whereas with the current system, alternative options seem to be favoured as it's either choose them or wait. So both options have their merits.
: Agree completely, and number 10 would be fantastic. However I fear that some people may leave the queue once they see the other team, which would be annoying at the final leg of it. Perhaps a second ready check and a cancellation of the current matching to replace the guy who left may help things a bit if that happens. Maybe once this teambuilder comes out I can finally practice my mid. I've never liked fighting for roles, so I never really learned how to play mid.
Of course there would still have to be leaverbuster style penalties for jumping out of the queue after saying you're ready and waiting for matchmaking to get you into a game. And like you said, the match would have to be cancelled so the other team isn't waiting for you to find a replacement. However by the time you've waited long enough for the group leader to approve a whole team and make sure they're all on board, I think the amount of leavers at that point would be surprisingly low. They've all waited long enough, after all!
: Team Builder is coming back soon Tuesday (1/21) at 1:00 - 5:00 PM PST!

: A little bit of team builder feedback
The one time I ran a group I set it to two junglers and then one in each lane. We had a couple of drop-outs but people seemed quite responsive to it. Of course we are dealing with a select group of people here and not the hording masses of the normal servers, so the attitude may change wildly when team builder is unleashed publically.
: Ok, so this is my first time here as a Beta Tester. Just DL'd and Installed. I opened my first Queue, and chose Kha'Zix, Midde Lane, Assassin. After about 8 minutes in the Queue, I finally joined a group, but it seemed a little 'broken' if you will. Apparently, it decided to match up only people who had chosen "Middle Lane" together, all in the same group. I took a screenshot for you to see: http://gyazo.com/5ec60e37cd6dd6365fdd9fd2c3698b68.png [](http://gyazo.com/5ec60e37cd6dd6365fdd9fd2c3698b68.png)
Are you sure the group leader didn't choose an all mid comp?
: Skin Purchase Not Available in Champion Select
I got this too. I tried to buy koi nami in a blind champ select and it said it wasn't avaliable at this time.

: No, the only thing you have to do is to find bugs and give feedback
So just play like we normally would then? I can't tell if they want me to carry on playing support on Summoner's Rift or Poppy on Dominion.
: On Communication
Doesn't Smite (The game) have tutorials that play when the game is downloading? I think something like this coupled with communication tutorials would work well.
