: ABOUT THE RECENT LUX BUFFS...
Hello random stranger that just so happens to have the same name! This is a post from a like minded individual from another thread. And no I'm not talking with myself this is a coincidence. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah the shield definitely deserves a bit of a boost BUT not as much as you say my friend. 50/65/80/95/110 +20% AP but it always applies twice so it becomes 220 +40% AP. The thing is with max CDR (which you should aim for in most games) the shield has a 6 second cooldown so making its scaling too huge would be a bit too strong. Perhaps it would be interesting if her shield had moderately higher cooldown (like 20 seconds without CDR) and would have great scaling, like 300 +60% on max rank. This meant your shield isnt just something you randomly throw into fights but it would require timing and skill. And if that meant my allies will stop dodging it accidentally and actually pay attention its even better. Base attack speed huh? Interesting idea but honestly never had a problem with it. Maybe her autos could be a bit faster but I'm pretty sure Star Guardian Lux has the fastest auto attacks so try that? #paytowin :D The passive. Now we are getting somewhere! They mentioned they could give buffs when you play her well? Then this is the thing to buff! Increases AP ratio to (+20/22/24/26/28/30% AP) from 20% AP. (Levels 1/6/10/13/15/16) Well I guess this gives the ult 10% more scaling which it doesnt really need, but this can easily be toned down. Then again did anyone read the scalings on Viktor for example? Comparing it to that this is almost nothing. Illumination will deal double damage, the second half over 3 seconds, when Final Spark ignites it. That would be a bit too strong since it would give too much base damage to ult and that combo does enough already. Hitting it is the problem. I dont judge!) has a nice idea about giving movespeed if you proc your passive, which would make her kiting pretty damn good. If you were ever against a team full of bruisers and you built Lich Bane you would know what I'm talking about. Sure it takes a few rotations but you can DPS a Maokai down. And doesn't that feel good? How much movespeed should you get? Scales from 30% at level 1 to 50% at level 16 for 2 seconds upon procing your passive on an enemy. She might be able to clean up fights better too with this. But mostly to reposition yourself. This would mean that you can get in the middle of the fray (which requires skill so no issues in lower elos. Uhh no offense amigos) and proc your passive all the time to move around the fight with Lich Bane. Sure thats not something that happens every game but it would be cool.

: Hey Fiersome! It's awesome that you're wicked hyped about the skin! We're excited to finally be able to show her off after keeping her hidden for so long. :o I do see where you're coming from in terms of gameplay, but it is timed to ensure you're able to reach different forms throughout the game - keep in mind that it's from damaging enemies, not killing/getting assists. (We thought about that in development because we didn't want support Lux's to feel left out... or be stealing all of the kills, haha). At this stage in the game, the progression system is pretty much locked down, but I would be happy to pass your feedback along to the team, if for nothing else, an alternative view of the system and how others are perceiving it. :)
Now that I played the skin more I think you might be right about the transformation timing. I guess it felt long because I wanted to see all the forms! :D I couldnt even begin to imagine how the skin would look when the leaks showed up and it has surpassed all my expectations! The VO, outfits, personalities and animations are all so good! On that note I hope the choices for the 10 forms will be explained on! Really want to hear the thought process behind it! LAAVAAA FOUUNTAIN!!!!
: Is it me or the skin seems a bit unfinished? I'm very satisfied with it right now but...i just can't help but think it, here's why : - Most of the recalls have veeeeeeeery few effects (water, fire etc around) - While i was testing AIR form, Lux rarely or sometimes never talked when walking - Her voice is the base one when taunting or joking, ruins the immersion - ~~She has no interactions with champions?~~ (what?) - Some VFX on E spells are barely visible at launch (Dark) while others like Magma have an obvious outline straight at cast... and i really insist, Dark form has that light Q and invisible E it's annoying af. - The form changing is so long...should apply to minions as well to encourage farming. Right now you tell players to spam brainlessly their spells in order to use the skin. Imagine a rookie who can't land skillshots with Lux and bought the skin for a final form, basically he's screwed? - No facial movement? Even Sion has one! *cries in corner* - Her E sound on ice form has the same sound effect as base one. - Her deaths animations are completely bugged in other forms than Light (i had a weiiiiird effect on Air form) - ~~The Q root should really have a full color related to the element and not only the effects on the sides, don't you dare tell the "clarity" excuse, everyone knows when they get rooted. **[This is NOT ok Riot](http://puu.sh/sczxR/f6773e17f3.jpg)** it looks great on light form but the rest is just lazy...it ruins the great particles on the inside, you can't see them that well.~~ - Once again on Dark form, while most forms have a voiceline when casting some spells (Fireball!) Dark Lux just...grunts whenever just casts E or Q, why is that? Perhaps related to the same issue i had with Air Form, right now she doesn't seem to speak at all anymore whatever i do. (Ok played three times now dark form can confirm no voice over on that form for some reason, expect BEAAAAM). - Finally : **[this this and this again please love Dark Lux](http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-pbe-feedback/AGPz9Rmo-elementalist-luxs-abilities-on-fire-dark-are-copypasted)** Basically, visually it just looks amazing (model-wise, not vfx wise for **dark**), i'm having trouble with the voice over mainly because i love the fact that Carrie is back on it but i was expecting...more dialogue and perhaps a rainbow joke. Also, particles need to be way more pronounced because they're almost invisible. Even if i love the idea behind every particle (water, lava & mystic so good), @Riot_iZac did a weird job on clarity, should add more effects to make it good and visible (they're too subtle and unfinished on some forms especially Dark, people **will** cry on the winter map, but other than that really they're great, props for water form!). But again, definitely worth the wait anyway, there's definitely work behind this. ~~Just in case tho, Riot please this is not your typical everyday skin do not ignore feedback and avoid communication, take the time to make something greater i beg you~~ Yay we got lots of answers thanks! I know i sound harsh but this is just an advice, whatever you do i'll respect your decision and buy the skin because you worked hard for it. **FINAL EDIT AFTER FACTS** After some rundown on PBE and talking to people, most unintended bugs will be fixed and that's amazing. All forms have their unique design and particles and that's enough indeed to make this skin lovely. Once again and i'll never say enough of this, only Dark Form remains an issue for me [because while all forms are so different, dark form is surprisingly too much the same of the fire one](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/57ssA9LF-elementalist-luxs-abilities-on-fire-dark-are-copypasted-not-a-hate-thread-proof-inside). Also, i still think the element jauge should be able to fill while hitting minions for the sake of low level players. Most of my statements up there were directly put after a first two testings on hot, but some of those things were clarified and fixed and now i can't get enough of this skin! (though honnestly, i was so pumped up about making this skin perfect to me i said some stupid things, pardon me). Anyway, thanks for the work, responses and prepare your wallets! _Bonus points on all of her jokes, i can't get enough of these really._
Was going to write something big, but its here already! Anyway the skin is AMAZING (was hyped for two months since the first leak! and around my birthday too! someone give everyone involved a hug from me!) but I cant help to agree with Dreamitz. The main issue I see is the transformation experience, since it does infact take quite a long time to do. Even on a custom game vs bots it takes so long. I just imagine having a bad game or something and you will never even reach the final forms for instance. Can you perhaps do this: if I used the element in a previous game (thus mastered it) I could reach it faster next time? Charge it with passive procs, last hits, shielding people? Maybe having an icon equipped makes you start in that form? Or simply with a click on a button with like a 5 minute cooldown? The idea to gain exp is cool but doing it EVERY game makes you feel like you are forced to do it just to reach a favourite form that you might not even get to play in the end (games end fast sometimes!). There is no real reason to gate it so much let the people enjoy it from beginning to end! That will make it truly wonderful! Also most comments here do mention the slow elemental mastery Im not the only one here! Keep being awesome Rito! <3

Yoha guys! Love the new champ! She looks awesome and i find her quotes to be quite inspirational. Also the ''everyone has a plan. until they get punched in the face''. Ah made me laugh. :) Lets see what else... the W animation is epic! Stand back, Darius! :D The E is definitely something we have never seen. Nice mehonix. Seems pretty damn good and since you have to max Q (i think?) it doesnt make your lane too op which is nice. Clearly the counterplay is that you can miss it though. Will need to try it a bit more (and hitting it would help xD). Still one thing does worry me and that is the balancing issue. I have no idea if she is too op or anything but she seems to be like Morde in a way: no cc and no mobility with a truckload of damage. Especially the ult. Holy Nagakabouros dem damages. Still im guessing you guys have a plan for that as well (the way you balanced Darius by not taking his damage but making it HARDER for him to do his thing. damn thats smart actually). Also i wish there was a way to spawn tentacles when you want so im not walking to lane and it spawns on my turret. and then i have to wait 20seconds to get another slimy friend to help me hit things. Anyway good job guys! :D
: My one bit of feedback? Q should be named Collateral Damage now, and his ult should be End Of The Line. Besides End Of The Line sounding more like a big-hitting ultimate, it seems like the names would fit each ability. Q: An explosive AoE ability that damages multiple enemies, and instantly explodes upon hitting terrain. Sounds like something that would cause plenty of "Collateral Damage". R: A line skillshot that upon hitting an enemy or reaching max range, explodes in a high damage come. Y'know, reaching the "End Of The Line". So does it sound worthwhile, or should I show myself out?
The biggest reason they might keep the names to not confuse people more. But i gotta agree with you my friend. Love the idea :D
