Hey! A quick check-in! A few things should be updated when PBE hits today: * Collar size has been reduced * Texture adjustments to her head to help it pop out more/see her face. * Color adjustment on her orange skirt - it is less gray, and it has more of an ombre effect into reddish-orange. **EDIT:** Ack, forgot one that was your suggestion! * W/RW has lingering effects to be able to see it, and some of your green triangle stuff.
: I'm sorry, I was wrong about the Q/RW size, is weird against the target dummy from Practice mode, it's normal against champions. But I think the mark explosion could use more VFX too. And I will wait for the answer! Thanks again!

There's a lot of stuff I don't have enough insight to answer - like why the Program theme was chosen, and certain design choices ; u ; What I can start with is her W/RW: * Is it the landing impact that you feel like you can't see? Does it not have a linger that lasts long enough? (Like on base, there are those yellow ripples?) Oh, also hang tight - looks like there might be some chromas coming in for her too, if you're interested in that!

: Malz is one of my favorite champs, and this is a great skin, but unfortunately I have to agree. The biggest things that stand out to me are the mouth and eyes. His current facial expression kinda has the look of a confused robot. Removing the mouth altogether would make a huge difference. As it is, the mouth looks out of place and a little distracting tbh. Additionally, the eyes don’t look quite as *sinister* as his other skins. Maybe narrowing/shaping them slightly might help give Malz a more manacing look. Other than that, his ability FX are amazing. Really well done!

: As a feedback, I just wanted to say that when Mecha ASol uses his E and Q and his Q gets bigger and bigger, it makes a really annoying sounds in my opinion. After using that "combo" for a few times my ears were hurt a little, I think I'd be nice to maybe fix it a little ^^
Oh! So I chatted with the audio bro that worked on this skin - he's planning to take a look at the Q and E audio! I'm not exactly sure what and when it will be changed, but he will be actively looking at it! (...well, _listening_ to it! yahahaha)

Even though many of us, myself included, still would prefer an entirely different skin these changes are well-received. Much of what I disproved of is already being worked on so my only real comment is that I ask in the future it's considered that the community is asked what skin we'd like rather than have us given a skin for a skin-line that's seemingly already unpopular. I will admit that the skin is growing on me though but I really would like something else sometime in the future sooner rather than later, 2 years later to be exact. KazoPBE was kind enough to poll active Sol players on what we'd like which I think should be reviewed for Sol's future skins. And if Riot's team is lacking any inspiration I don't think that there's anything wrong with looking at some of the designs the community has already conceived. In regards to the skin though, I don't appreciate and I haven't seen many others disagree with having to buy chromas to justify getting this skin. To put it simply, that's bad business. So I'd like to ask that the base-skin's colors are adjusted a little bit. The greens may still be unappealing to some but a slight adjustment would make it more appealing nonetheless. Lastly, this is pushing but given the meme that the skin makes Sol looks like Rayquaza I think it might look nice to give him some ribbons of light that disappear towards the ends like Sol's tail. Just a few, nothing too crowding, and maybe they can be toggled off like Aatrox's wings (Reference: https://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/5/58/384Rayquaza-Mega.png). I just want something to restore the elegance that he lost with that bulky body. Because I mean, robotic-like-snake-like creatures look silly which is probably why we hardly ever see them in popular entertainment. Edit: Also, the Mecha skinline includes another skin(line), Enemy Crabgbot Urgot which has been dubbed a Kaiju in the series. The skinline as a whole seems to be based upon Pacific Rim and thus the Kaiju are other-wordly beings. With that being said, even though the skins (and/or the Champs that have them) aren't overly popular why wasn't Sol made a Kaiju instead? We associate aliens with space and since Sol is a being from space it seems to make the most sense. Plus he wouldn't have had to be robotic if he was a Kaiju which would probably make the skin more appreciated. And it'd add another skin to that sparse skinline. I always feel like I'm leaving out things when I write large messages, my mind is always scrambling with ideas but I think I got most of what I wanted to say (that's still needed to be said) down so with that said; Thanks again Nurse Flan and have a good day.

: Yeah, giving him legs may cause problems, especially if UV map fills entire texture space, and his chromas aren't simple recolours, but i would really appreciate getting some legs. I asked for some legs, but I think that might be a stretch since it requires model + texture + animation + vfx work ; u ; (since it didn't exist before) Oh! Looks like another thing that was updated from the list just now - his shades in his Joke emote have been updated. It's not like, super Daft Punk levels of spiffyness - but it's now unique for the skin and has a neat neon edge to it! (omg I just got your username reference ; u ; thank you for checking this skin out early!)
: Sounds good! I noticed that the W effect looks fine as it has additonal particle effects signaling the hitbox. Only the passive Stars seems to long. Also maybe look into his R. It feels really snappy and I love it, but I feel like the hitbox is not 100% accurate and it would make it harder to flash over it for enemies. And is there any info on some slight model changes like the belly and leg thing. It is kind of a big deal for a lot of people I talked to including me. I understand that we will probablly not get any recall changes but I'd be fine with that if thats the only major thing that would not be addressed. Also on PBE his tail visibility is bugged. But to make the best out of it I decided to do some voting to find out what skin themes were wanted for Sol https://www.strawpoll.me/16185929/r A lot of people don't like the Mecha theme for Sol as it contradicts with his majestic nature. However I do understand the work involved of scrapping something and redoing it so I will give a few things that need to be done to make Mecha Sol more appealing. 1. Make his star hitbox more noticable. The drones feel very elongated where his stars are round. This makes it hard to know what his actual Star hitbox is (At least for enemies) Maybe give the drones a shield effect or something to show the actual hitbox. 2. Bump up the Q visibility (Already said in the post) 3. Give him his legs back. He looks empty without them and looses a lot of his dragon appeal. Maybe remove the booster on his belly for that 4. Make the top of his back less cluttered. This could be done by changing the colors arround ab bit but as it stands now it's too much noise at the high part of his body. (EDIT: Most of the chromas do that pretty well) 5. Give him more vibrant colors. Currently they are toned down which, sure, is normal for a mecha skin but they are kind of dull. Chromas would also fix that issue but it doesn't look like we'll get them. ( EDIT: We got chromas and a lot of them look amazing Colorwise so good job) 6. Make his chest less weird. It kinda looks like a big belly almost like he's pregnant (Is that where Lulu's little Sol came from?) See Nr. 3 7. The glasses in his taunt are pretty lazy. Just his default with a different effect. He needs equally Mecha googles or something. 8. His face looks too long from the front. The chin is quite big. 9. The recall just doesn't feel right. It's defenetly not the skin I, and many others, were hoping for and being Admin of both the Sol Mains Discord and Subreddit I have seen mostly disappointment with this skin today. Also that Aurelion Sol Pix Icon on PBE is missing legs as well but that one is soooo cute so thanks for that ;) Also a small suggestion for future skins so this doesn't happen: Maybe make more polls simmilar to Illaois skin process. W-what white chicken has orange wings!! Just teasing :) We left the wings white to make it look more like a chicken, and to make it noticeably different from base (he got dem golden wings). We stuck with Birdio so his chromas won't feel left out :) They should be hitting PBE either today or tomorrow, and some are other birds like an eagle, flamingo, parrots and stuff! I'll shoot them over to our writer anyways! I like Gallio xD

: Since it's relevant I'll post it here. The ult walls feel kind of thin compared to his other skins. It feels like they need to be a bit thicker or have less of a space dipping down between the spikes to make it feel more like the one we're used too. The star effect while moving is really cool but I'm worried over time or in team fights it will get distracting having a stationary object move visually, but I don't think you can do anything about that aside from removing it completely.
Whoa! I _just_ asked the VFX artist if he could attempt to make the rocks a little "squatter" and "less sharp" from all the feedback here! I think it expands on the Dark Star universe, so that it's not all just spooky beings destroying planets and stuff - but that's my non-writer opinion LOL. _Disclaimer_: It _should _ release, but things like this always have a chance to be taken back in for edits (or be axed)! Please set your expectations accordingly!

: For a first look, i think his ult feels uncompleted. Could make some purple rifts in the surrounding areas of his ult and add a dark star /bigger rift in the middle of it. Would probably make his ult feel more powerful.
We didn't want to create a void in the center in case that would feel like a damaging AoE Zone ; u ; Same with the ult walls - they're supposed to look like terrain and not something that can passively damage you. Have you checked it out in game? The stars in the walls have this scroll-y effect as you move the camera around :)

: Twisted Fate main since season 4! ;D so I'm SUPER stoked for this skin. Great job guys! My only feedback is that there seems to be a disconnect between the VO lines and the look/feel of the skin. The unfiltered voice and the southern drawl just seem a little off from the whole concept. I think if there was any way to add some sort of filter to the voice (i.e. Voidbringer Illaoi), it would be all it would need to put the final touch to the skin. Otherwise, 10/10! : It's super rad to see Go in his recall animation! But 16x16 is an unusual board size, even historically (seems like ancient China used to play on 17x17). Any chance you could make the board a full 19x19 instead of 16x16? Or at least 17x17 for some historical hat tip? If it were 19x19, you could make the game shown on the board something famous, like [Shusaku's Ear-Reddening Move](http://senseis.xmp.net/?EarReddeningMove) or [AlphaGo's fifth-line shoulder hit](https://gogameguru.com/alphago-races-ahead-2-0-lee-sedol/). Since it feels like you're already drawing some inspiration from Hikaru no Go with Azir's Hand of God :P Overall I love that he's a Chinese-themed emperor playing Go, and that he's playing White (since that implies he is the stronger player), and that when he plays the stone, light pours down AS IF DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN. Pretty f-in awesome.
Glad you liked the Go theme for his recall! We realize the board size isn't accurate, but adding any more squares onto it makes the texture very messy and extremely pixely :( Small little details like that don't play nice!
: Hi! Skin is really good, but is the 1350 RP price really justified? Gravelord Azir is 1350 and has way more particles AND a voice over effect. Azir hasn't lots of places for particles since it's mostly auto attacks, which is why most of his skins are 975. With the decription you provided, i really see that as a 975 skin tier (just look at Heartseeker Quinn she has also new VFX, SFX and model but that doesn't make her 1350 right?). At least IMO, after testing the skin i don't find the VFX quality to be 1350 tier when i just did Dreadnova GP, WK Vi before that and the difference is clearly obvious.
I think judging a price off the quick list we make in the PBE post isn't a good comparison! That said, I have brought up the pricing concern to the peeps that handle the pricing - definitely no promises for changes, but they are aware! UPDATE: His royal fan model and some animations have been added to his Taunt emote to help! Still no word on any price adjustment!

Genuinely curious as to why it feels like a 975 skin! Program Camille has new lines/VO processed and every ability has new VFX (as compared to 975s which are usually recolored or not all are changed)!
: Camille is a beautiful champion. The costume is also very nice. The costume name doesn't appear on the game installation screen, but i think you already know it. Colors are a bit complicated, and it makes it hard to play. I was able to play a couple of times with costume so this is my first impressions. Sorry for my English.

As much as I like the back animation, I think it could be very unituitive for ennemy to land skillshot on him during the last second (back immune to interupt if 0.5s left if I remember right) as usually you target the champ as a reflex, not the blue circle. It's not the first time I taught that (and the 2 camille back kinda sufer the same issue) but in santa braum case I think it's way to fast and away from the actual back point that it give hidden power to the skin
Hey, that's a good point! I'll ping the animator today to see if he can slow down the animation so it doesn't go quite high - or somethin'! Update: Okay! The updated recall should be in the next PBE deploy - he's still on his Poro sleigh, but he doesn't zoom way off into outer space anymore!
