: Playing a lot of Evelynn in the Practice Tool right now, trying to get a feel for her relative to other champions: Passive: * I&#039;m actually okay with her passive coming online mostly at level 6. However, I wish that it were more useful in jungle: the way that it&#039;s designed now, it feels like it&#039;s far more useful for lane Eve than jungle Eve. * My recommendation here would be to add a caveat to the passive: Killing a monster immediately activates the Passive. This increases her ability to use Empowered E and allows her to heal between camps easier. * ~~Also, she needs her HP regen ungutted. If the healing portion here is the reason for that, it almost doesn't feel like a fair trade, since Evelynn is guaranteed to always be low health.~~ Q: * The way in which the damage is split between the projectile and the next three attacks against the target of the projectile is needlessly complicated. My recommendation for Hate Spike is to remove the extra damage portion, and add it onto the projectile burst damage. It makes it stronger poke, but I don&#039;t think that&#039;s a bad thing for her current balance state. * Evelynn's mana pool isn't going far enough without Blue buff for regen, really hurting her pathing options and her laning ability. Q is the main way she's using her mana, so I recommend lowering the cost early in the game. * new stats would look like: > Mana cost (35/45/55/65/75) Lasher Damage: (55/90/125/160/195) (+60%AP) Hate Spike Damage: (25/30/35/40/45) (+45%AP) > **Edit** After playing quite a few more games on Eve, I'm not feeling those numbers anymore. She's slow, she's kitable, she has no mobility, and she's fragile and melee. In lane, this combination won't work out at all. She needs to be able to get onto people if they don't respect her W and stick around for a fight. * My recommendation is to grant Empowered a larger range, equal to her detection radius. R: * I&#039;m actually okay with the way that the teleport works. It makes R more risky and therefore have more room for power. * The one thing I&#039;d really like to see is **the teleport should place Evelynn in stealth**. Visually, she&#039;s already going into demon form when she ults, and gameplay wise, it would make R a better escape tool and give Evelynn a chance to go back in if combined with the extra range on Empowered E. Overall, I think that **Eve is under delivering in the current build**. I haven&#039;t gotten to test her damage versus champions or in teamfights much, so I can&#039;t speak to her later-game balance, but that&#039;s what I&#039;m seeing so far. Implementing all of these changes would: Make her jungle clear more healthy (better use of her passive). Make her jungle clear faster (more damage on Hate Spike, more uses of Empowered E). Make her ganks more powerful, especially before 6 (movement speed and range on Empowered E so that she can get to the target). Give Evelynn more capability in lane, both in farming/waveclearing with Q and with engaging with Empowered E. Make her more slippery in teamfights (restealth after R, range on Empowered E). **Edit** Reduce her late-game damage to give her more power budget to *reach* that late game.
Thanks for the long detailed post, i hope the balance team looks a bit through it because she does seem very underwhelming like you said. The MS boost is lacking, the resets are nowhere, she's too much kittable and has mana issues.

To be honest i just fell in love too much with the splash as many people did because it replicates perfectly a beautiful modern woman, can't blame us! ;p I think the issue comes mostly from the lack of contrast between the skin and hair, making them both blue somewhat gives a bad color palette but that's just my opinion! I'm looking forward to the changes.

Hello! 1 - Would it be possible to remove manually or somehow the headgear from Shadow Eve? If not, it would be great to make it look like horns : make them smaller and split them on the sides rather than the middle portal of oblivion thingy. 2 - Is there any plan for a toggable blink on her ult? It's a good mechanic, but it's soooooo counter intuitive. You either wait and keep it 'till you sure you can KS/Excecute someone rather than dealing damage and stay in the TF. It doesn't give us much options. I'd rather have the choice to warp (Ahri can dash 3 times for poro's sake!). 3 - Is there a new skin planned for Eve any time soon? I read many times that her old model was problematic for making good skins on her but now being so pretty and all fresh she deserves a 1350 right? :D (how about Elderwood Eve? Full of deadly leafs, lianas and spikes!) 4 - Props to the animation team and audio team, the laughs in shadow form give me such chills (it feels like Skull Kid in MM....).

I just want to share that i find it really sad that Fiora & Yi get to ride their swords but the actual true Blade Rider (Irelia) is in the trash bin while Fiora & Yi have also better thematical skins than Irelia's whole identity. Also, giving this Yi skin a brand new animation for ultimate and auto-attack passive but refusing to add piercing animations for a 50$ Lancer Zero Hecarim feels bad. Those skins would have been enjoyable at 750 or 975RP but they feel forced and bring me no joy at all. Janna & Yi have enough skins, and the VFX quality for this Janna skin is far worst than her SG. When will we get cheaper skins for once?

While both the skin and splash are amazing i need to do some feedback about the splash that bothers me. https://imgur.com/a/E5YdV The splash for MF has lots of red aura and stars falling around her beam while others like Soraka especially has only the beam and her model :( Some particles for her ult or something and more green would make perfect, because it REALLY feels underwhelming when watching the others q_q The character is perfect, the background just needs more "Soraka" like the others have (Syndra has her pets, Ezreal has his pet's trail, MF has her shooting star etc...).

Patch comes out in 2 days, are we getting any update one day or did the guys intern decide to ignore the community? I find it kinda insulting that after so much feedback throughout reddit, youtube and boards that you guys can leave everyone hanging for 12 days and release the skin without a single change. That's what usually happens on PBE anyway, but this is really sad, what was the point of this thread exactly if all of the feedback was ignored?

The eyes animations are absolutely amazing and the whole kit and theme fits him so well but the ult **NEEDS TO BE A MINI-NUKE BOMB** (with the X and boom and everything). It's litteraly how we call his ult : **a nuke**. Riot, make us feel vilain and powerful. You have 2 weeks before the launch, please tell me a SFX artist can make something up in that time for real. If that ult isn't his rocket or some kinda nuke by launch, it's a big no no for my wallet and my heart...

Skins are seriously overpriced. The VFX are the same for lots of abilities with added gold glow or gold color over it. The Nami ult is the easiest to spot (or Jhin E). The SFX added for some are too quiet to be compared to 1350 SFX like what i mention below. So according to your own pricing guide, they shouldn't be 1350. They just can't compare with Star Guardians, Dark Stars or Dragon Sorceress Zyra quality. Other than that, they're really great but they are clearly not worth 1350.

Like we have the choice in Sona's & Lux, i really love the new 1st form of Ezreal like Cait they have such a classy coat and i'd love to keep it for the entire game without having to neglect my ultimate lol. It would **really** be neat to have a button pop near the portrait to allow us to upgrade whenever we feel like it at each ult rank.

Yea [most people on reddit don't like it](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/5y3tc3/pugmaw_pugdoggo_kogmaw_skin_spotlight_prerelease/den2ers/) actually. A lot of comments are negative, and i can understand that. Idea is okay, design is not. This needs more cartoon aspect to it and less realistic dog material. It's way too creepy and looks like a custom skin suddenly imported. At least give it some dog sounds or something. Seriously PETA could file a complaint about the skin if they wanted to ahah (ok joking). This skin makes everyone confused as f*** me included. It could be way better but i just can't really point my finger on it. I just don't expect to play a dog in League, even if Kog is kind of a puppy this is nothing like Kog.

Hello, i have just two few issues with the update overall after testing : - His Q has no quickcast range like other spells when hovering or pressing the skill when set to quickast + selfcast & show range - After his ult, he is unable to move for a 0,5 approx seconds and that's really weird and extremely clunky since the current WW can ult and instantly Q...but on this one i just can't he freezes after ult (dunno if it's my ping but i doubt it). Seems like other people reported this and really it should be fixed. - The effect on the edges of the screen for W is a nice idea but seriously it gets really annoying after a while at least for me... (well bots were always low on health so i would always have that annoying effect). Other than that very satisfying rework.

Thanks for the answer. I did compare it to other skins tho ingame since i tested them all too...XD I think a lot of people can agree on Azir's lack of "effects" as a champion. That's why Gravelord Azir has a voiceover effect to up the price. Anyway, i hope for my wallet that the price might change, but still buying it i guess.

Hi! Skin is really good, but is the 1350 RP price really justified? Gravelord Azir is 1350 and has way more particles AND a voice over effect. Azir hasn't lots of places for particles since it's mostly auto attacks, which is why most of his skins are 975. With the decription you provided, i really see that as a 975 skin tier (just look at Heartseeker Quinn she has also new VFX, SFX and model but that doesn't make her 1350 right?). At least IMO, after testing the skin i don't find the VFX quality to be 1350 tier when i just did Dreadnova GP, WK Vi before that and the difference is clearly obvious.

I'd rather pay for a 1350 Quinn skin full of particles than another 975 tier one. : Correct, there aren't plans to do so, no. Keep in mind that you do not need to swap forms as soon as the UI pops up. You're able to close it and come back to it later, should you want to stay in Light form for a while, or stay in Water form once you've transformed for the first time.
Don't know if this is the correct place to answer/ask about it but while we talk about changing forms, have you guys considered making her passive fill the element bar too? Since it's the most important part of her kit and burst i believe and also a damaging tool, it should apply to the description i think.

I understand, but wouldn't it be better if we could fill the jauge by hitting minions also? As i played, it seemed like hiting a champion with a Q or E fills by 3% roughly, does not seem to double if hiting multiple champions at once? (works per spell, might need to check again). For some low level players, it might be a hard time. After all Lux is all about skillshots, in the end it might even get frustrating. It's just a skin, it should not require such effort to switch imo. The thing we fear most is that people might want to use their spells incorrectly in order to change forms and not use them wisely for teamfights (exemple : not using R for pushing lanes but keeping it for the sake of the form...)

Yes please! So much yes! :D Dark form is the only one where the particles seems too close to Fire and subtle in some way, have some love for old Void Lux! Really? But this is really...hum...well saddening just for the Dark form [as i stated here](http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-pbe-feedback/AGPz9Rmo-elementalist-luxs-abilities-on-fire-dark-are-copypasted). They both look just too much the same! So many people prayed and hoped for Void Lux back then, could you please talk a bit about this in the reunion and add some more effects for darkness? This would be just...the best thing ever, please... I really just have a problem with that Dark Form, nothing else. It's really the only one where it comes out that badly because of the white/purple contrast. I'm maybe paranoid, but seeing how much different the other forms are in terms of vfx, this is kinda a shock... Well, can't get everything i guess. I'll just say great job on all the rest tho, still definitely my favorite skin (that's why i'm putting so much effort on critique ahah).

Had to make a new post for **serious issue** Just had a bug as said in my post but now WITH LIGHT FORM where after i first time used my ult at level 6, Lux lost all voice lines when walking. Only talks when casting spells or emotes, but never else... Applies to all forms.
: Here's my opinion on what this skin might need! **All Forms:** _Passive Mark:_ The passive mark for her form's are very subtle... It is kinda of hard to see. It would be nice for her passive mark change color depending on her form, or have just a little more effects depending on her element. Unless it is for clarity reasons. _Dance Clones:_ I believe Lux has two dance clones because she has two element orbs at the ends of her staff. Because of this, instead of her clones appearing out of nowhere, I would like to see Lux's orbs fall off her staff and "create" the clones when Lux raises her staff to dance. Right now when press dance, she raises her staff, it disappears, she claps, and clones pop up. Instead, when you press dance, she raises her staff, the orbs at the end of her weapon fall to "create" her clones, her staff disappears, and dance. I like the idea her clones change color depending on her element. However, they seem sort of bland. This is because most of the clones do not have the extra particle effects that Lux has. For example, the Magma clones should have magma falling off of them (like the clones are dripping or something). The Wind clones should have wind gust particles around them, and so on. Just a little touch to make the clones seem less bland. Right now they seem just to be the color palette used for the main Lux. _Light Binding (Q):_ Seems like the consensus on this is that her Q does not change shape / color depending on her form. Personally, I am bothered by this too. I know it might be for clarity reasons, but at least the shape of her Q would change depending on her element. For example, her Q on Ice form would be a snowflake (but keep the gold - white color and side particles). _Shield (W):_ Although it looks cool, on the livestream it was really hard to see Lux's W direction. I don't think the Q is for clarity reasons. I mean, if it was then they wouldn't have 10 skins in one in a single game, they all have different particles. When you have a Lux in your game and see her Q, you know you got caged so i think it might be WIP or they're extremely lazy which shouldn't be an option considering how much work has been given into the skin already. I just hope they change at least that because on dark form it looks gross. The Dark Form is really the one that's completely unfinished despite the model, the particles are extremely weak and subtle. They really need to not avoid that fact and work on it i hope...

HER E outline also bugs me since it's the same light, but it's less noticeable

: Watching the stream, I not quite liking you don't have a chance to play as the second element before the fusion, think you can make it where you can play as both forms then charge up to fuse them together? Like charge up to pick First Element and Transform to that Charge 2nd time to transform into the other element Charge a 3rd time to fuse
It already takes 15-20 minutes roughly to gather enough for 2 forms, would not like to spend 30 minutes and rarely get my final form.

Nah, you didn't look good enough. The top gate is light for every but all around the root are different effects. You get a flame wall for Fire, a waterfall for Water etc...

Is it me or the skin seems a bit unfinished? I'm very satisfied with it right now but...i just can't help but think it, here's why : - Most of the recalls have veeeeeeeery few effects (water, fire etc around) - While i was testing AIR form, Lux rarely or sometimes never talked when walking - Her voice is the base one when taunting or joking, ruins the immersion - ~~She has no interactions with champions?~~ (what?) - Some VFX on E spells are barely visible at launch (Dark) while others like Magma have an obvious outline straight at cast... and i really insist, Dark form has that light Q and invisible E it's annoying af. - The form changing is so long...should apply to minions as well to encourage farming. Right now you tell players to spam brainlessly their spells in order to use the skin. Imagine a rookie who can't land skillshots with Lux and bought the skin for a final form, basically he's screwed? - No facial movement? Even Sion has one! *cries in corner* - Her E sound on ice form has the same sound effect as base one. - Her deaths animations are completely bugged in other forms than Light (i had a weiiiiird effect on Air form) - ~~The Q root should really have a full color related to the element and not only the effects on the sides, don't you dare tell the "clarity" excuse, everyone knows when they get rooted. **[This is NOT ok Riot](http://puu.sh/sczxR/f6773e17f3.jpg)** it looks great on light form but the rest is just lazy...it ruins the great particles on the inside, you can't see them that well.~~ - Once again on Dark form, while most forms have a voiceline when casting some spells (Fireball!) Even if i love the idea behind every particle (water, lava & mystic so good), @Riot_iZac did a weird job on clarity, should add more effects to make it good and visible (they're too subtle and unfinished on some forms especially Dark, people **will** cry on the winter map, but other than that really they're great, props for water form!). But again, definitely worth the wait anyway, there's definitely work behind this. ~~Just in case tho, Riot please this is not your typical everyday skin do not ignore feedback and avoid communication, take the time to make something greater i beg you~~ Yay we got lots of answers thanks! I know i sound harsh but this is just an advice, whatever you do i'll respect your decision and buy the skin because you worked hard for it. **FINAL EDIT AFTER FACTS** After some rundown on PBE and talking to people, most unintended bugs will be fixed and that's amazing. All forms have their unique design and particles and that's enough indeed to make this skin lovely. Once again and i'll never say enough of this, only Dark Form remains an issue for me [because while all forms are so different, dark form is surprisingly too much the same of the fire one](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/57ssA9LF-elementalist-luxs-abilities-on-fire-dark-are-copypasted-not-a-hate-thread-proof-inside). Also, i still think the element jauge should be able to fill while hitting minions for the sake of low level players.
