: Uh, I just played a game with 0/18/12 masteries and I had absolutely no mana problems. I took a slight hit to early mana, but once I finished Corrupting Potion+Frostfang, I never went out of mana. Ever.

I don't know what runes or masteries you're using but using mana regen runes, mana masteries, and the available mana support items is way more than enough to live through laning phase as an aggressive support. I haven't noticed any problems with mana that weren't because I'd been in lane too long or had just finished with an extensive team fight. mana regen runes arent an option for competitive high elo games because they do nothing for your dueling potential as sona and gimp your mid/end game strength sorry

: Unfortunately the game cannot cater to every unique build available. AP Sona has been traditionally weaker than regular Sona in lane due to her softness and reliance on W. She receives power spikes with items like Lich Bane. All you will need is to change your early lane playstyle.

All you will need is to change your early lane playstyle. no at level 1-4 the fact she still has a spellthief doesnt change her mana sustain issues which is when this is the most noticable sona has not had time to even choose between utility/ap sona yet other sonas go dumb shit like frozenheart/athenes eventually and only items that sona gets to help are lich bane/mejais thats not the issue though becasue mana will no longer be a problem for sona by mid game her level 1-4 is absolutely awful for mana issues she has to spend 400 mana to heal for 150 hp of damage on adc/herself how is this even remotely fair? that is literally her entire mana bar
