**We've re-written how skillshots fly.** This means from the start of the skillshot's creation to the end of that skillshot.
My team at Riot is called CUTS. We **C**lean **U**p **T**he **S**tuff (There's a synonym for "poop" in the real name). The "stuff" my team is cleaning up are _skillshots_.

And frankly... fixing bugs like this involves a lot of change. If you fix some bugs, other bugs come up. Even worse bugs. Unless we re-write it. Which we've done. Huzzah!
Re-writing how skillshots work is a huge change and the last time we put our changes on the PBE you guys were quick to find gameplay-impacting bugs. As a result we looked at our code again and fixed the bug that caused skillshots to randomly miss.

I made this post because we need to gather feedback about the system. There is a trade-off to fixing this bug. There are gameplay differences. Because of this, we have to be absolutely sure that we're okay with the gameplay differences in our skillshot system before we ship. This could be larger than we anticipate, potentially involving art and gameplay balance. One team can't make that decision. That is also why it is on the PBE. It's not GOING to ship in 5.11. We're testing and hoping we'll be able to for 5.11.

Edit: To syndra players! I found out about the Q+E combo. The sphere is actually a unit being pushed and therefore not a missile. This means the changes we put in do not fix this combo.
I did find out that another team put in changes at 5.10 working on this bug and so there are people who are monitoring this bug.
