I know a lot of people are talking about how these achievements are locked behind a paywall, and I completely agree. I'm usually one to support Riot and defend their actions but I cannot get behind paying 850 RP for 1 set per champion. But I'm not here to talk about that, I want to talk about how easy it is to complete some of these milestones.
A lot of the First Milestones feel like you can complete them in 1 good game. Take Ahri's for example:
* Land 10 Charms (E) leading to champion kills within 5 seconds
* Deal 40k damage to enemy champions
* Kill 15 enemy champions
A lot of them are very similar to this, where I feel like it can be completed in 1 good game, or even in an ARAM or RGM (If we ever get those back/if you can complete milestones on those modes).
It still misses the mark for me on skill expression, whats really the difference between someone who had a good/lucky first game on a champion vs. someone who has mained a champion for years?
Although granted, even though the first milestone is easy to hit, it does start to ramp up a bit with the second milestone. I'll use Ahri's again:
* Land 25 Charms (E) leading to champion kills within 5 seconds
* Deal 100k damage to enemy champions
* Kill 35 enemy champions
But again it's so easy to complete these after a couple of decent games.
I'm not saying to make these milestones harder or adjust the numbers, but if this is meant to show off achievements there should be a bigger gap between someone who might first time a champion and get lucky vs a veteran player of said champion.
Of course someone who would be first timing a champion might not buy Eternals but my point is that anyone can hit those milestones very easily even if they've never played the champion before.
I'm not sure how to go about fixing this and I'm not even 100% certain on how Eternals works, but I feel like there was a lot of missed potential to make more unique champion expression instead of what feels like a lot of repeats on landing abilities, doing damage, getting kills, etc.
