The newest set of Karma changes has been put up, and I can now say, (As a karma main) I'm happy with these changes. **PASSIVE CHANGE**: > Gathering Fire (passive) > CD refund on spell hit increased to 2/2.5/3 at level 1/7/13 from 2 at all levels. > >CD refund on basic attack increased to 1/1.25/1.5 at level 1/7/13 from 1 at all levels **MY SUGGESTION**: None. This fixes her mid/late game, which was EXTREMELY sub-par, and this gives her more tools to effectively utilize her kit. **W CHANGE:** > AP RATIO: (60AP>90%). Can now target monsters. > **MY SUGGESTION:** That's a REALLY big ratio. I know that's going to be OP, because Karma's basic abilities shouldn't be give as much of an impact with a 90% ratio. Change it to 70%. Keeps her strength and doesn't it as powerful. Also, jungle karma hype (which may or may not be beneficial, as I do not want her to get gutted.) **EMPOWERED W CHANGE:** > No longer deals extra damage > New Effect: Increases root duration (if triggered) by .50/0.75/1/1.25 seconds > **MY SUGGESTION: **Take the 90% AP ratio from the W and take away 20/30 and put it here instead. There should be a HUGE power difference in her basic/mantra abilities, that's her uniqueness. The heal and the scaling heal should still be here. A nice idea for the heal is to treat it as a burst heal, and the real of the healing happens as the tether lasts (Tethers, heals for 20% missing HP + 1% for every 100 AP AND heals the other remaining 20% over the tether duration). Otherwise, quite a nice change. Gives her more of that much-needed late game presence. ** > ** **E CHANGE:** > Cooldown lowered to 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds from 10 seconds at all ranks > >Mana cost lowered to 60/65/70/75/80 from 60/70/80/90/100. > >Shield amount decreased to 80/110/140/170/200 from 80/120/160/200/240 > **MY SUGGESTION:** The changes are reasonable given how much Utility empowered E provides (The new E is WONDERFUL. I've always wondered why it gives her such lackluster shields, and this balances that problem completely. I'm not even that mad about the shield bomb due to the beefiness of this shield. Try to auto a bit more whilst you maneuver in fights to compromise for the shield bomb loss.) > **** **EMPOWERED E CHANGE:** > No longer deals damage > Now increases primary shield by 30/90/150/210 (+30% AP) > AoE shield amount increased to 50% of the primary target's shield from 30/70/100/150 > **MY SUGGESTION: ** Nothing. It's perfect for every lane. The shield is BONUS in addition to the primary shield, which gives her alot of utility. Thankfully, most players don't know how to use her properly as she has one of the highest skill ceilings in the game. The shield bomb, while a nice AOE follow up to an initiate, the shield it offers is WAY more valuable, especially vs AOE comps. **Conclusion:** The changes are pretty nice, aside from the W AP ratio, which is an extreme overbuff, and should be put into her RW as balance (+20-30%). Unless you're promoting jungle Karma, (which is quite strong and sure to get my favorite champion nerfed similar to Sejauni), the W on monsters should be taken out, as it gives her too much sustain in the jungle (40% missing HP in the jungle PLUS smiting red buff. While I honestly like it, It's unnecessarily powerful.) Everything else sacrifices power for a more reasonable late game with more mantra's to use and more skill to effective use Karma.
