ABOUT THE RECENT LUX BUFFS...

Greetings! Im a long time Lux player (200k mastery and i dont even play the game that often) and I just want to share my opinion on the PBE Lux ult changes. Final Spark (R) [new effect] If Final Spark kills an enemy champion, 30/40/50% of its cooldown is refunded. So you are trying to buff her because she isnt in the best spot right now? Cool! But I'd say this might not be the way to do it so hear me out here. So what does this change mean? 1. If she KILLS an enemy a part of the cooldown is refunded. So that means you have killed someone already. Which means you probably did your job already and are decently fed/strong and by deleting one person you have probably won the fight. SO YOU DONT REALLY NEED THIS IN A WAY. The time this is most useful might actually be on the laning phase as your ult actually has a sort of long cooldown IMO. And I guess every now and then you can get a cheeky kill in late game with another fast ult. So pretty much its a win-more buff which wont help too much. Sounds cool on paper at least! 2. This might encourage newer players on something you shouldnt do. I can already see it now: everyone would simply try to 'secure' a kill with it and often that is either unnecessary or would simply waste the cooldown if you fail. I sure as hell wont use it like that as the ult is unreliable as is. 3. If FINAL SPARK kills and enemy the cooldown is refunded. Now here is the thing: I think since your combo procs Thunderlords and passive wont it register the kill on the Thunderlords/passive sometimes instead? Im pretty sure the ult does a ton of damage but its those two things that really make it into the death beam that it is. I'd say this is one of those things that will get an occasional 'WOW' reaction but other than that it wont make her stronger by any means. I COULD BE WRONG OBVIOUSLY AS I AM JUST A HUMAN AFTER ALL, but since you need to hit your Q (which is the hard part) so use ult anyway its not exactly spammable in that sense. Just imagine if Syndra got this though... Scary stuff man. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here are some of my random suggestions! I dont have much issues playing her for now so this is something to help the newer players. (Obviously not all of them at the same time_** I WOULD JUST PICK ONE OF THESE**_). Q: Light Binding COOLDOWN: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 ---> 13 / 12.5 / 12 / 11.5 / 11 Keeps the lategame cooldown as it is highly impactful already, but a bit more forgiving early game for a newer player with low accuracy. Would help support variants as well. W: Prismatic Barrier 「 Shield Strength: 50 / 65 / 80 / 95 / 110 (+ 20% AP) 」----> 「 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 (+ 20% AP) 」 This is the buff I'd like the most. Makes the early shield more useful and rewards shielding allies in lategame. Trust me this ability when used right makes so much difference in fights so giving it a bit of love wouldnt hurt. E: Lucent Singularity COST: 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130 Mana ---> COST: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 Mana Again something for newer players. This mana cost is enormous as it is so it helps them manage it better throughout the game. E: Lucent Singularity Slow: 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% ---> Slow: 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% scaling to 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60 / 72.5% the longer it lingers. Now this is zone control! Maybe the values later as a bit much but this would encourage leaving E's in pathways to block important areas. Helps taking blue buff as well which is nice. Remember _** I WOULD JUST PICK ONE OF THESE**_ if i could. Probably the W. I like that one. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TL:DR Ult changes mostly a win more mechanic, nothing more. Not saying the changes suck but they wont do much IN MY OPINION. Random buff thoughts above this. P.S: Love the new voiceover and keep up the good work!
