>while Runaan's bolts don't interact with "on attack" effects, they do interact with onhit effects. Therefore, since caitlyn's passive interacts with it, is it safe to assume that caitlyn's passive is an "on-hit" stack? why, then, does Caitlyn's passive not stack doubly on guinsoo's procs?
You can see from my match history that i did in fact test this interaction in a game. Actually, i tested it three times, the other two times in a custom without runaan's built. To confirm, Runaan's bolts, which apply on-hits but do not normally interact with on attack effects (graves autos for instance) do interact with caitlyn's passive stacking; whereas guinsoo's (old sated) procs do not interact at all with caitlyn's passive stacking.
If both runaan's and guinsoos are on-hit interactions, why is it that only Runaan's interacts with Caitlyn's passive? I can only assume that the answer falls in to one of these three possibilities:
1. Caitlyn's passive is an on-hit interaction and should interact with guinsoo's; the fact that it does not is a bug
2. Caitlyn's passive is an on-hit interaction and should interact with guinsoo's; the fact that it does not is an intentional exception
3. Caitlyn's passive is an on-attack interaction and should not interact with Runaan's; the fact that it does is an intentional exception
Is the answer one of these, or is there something i've missed?
